Worst company ever. Was diagnosed wrongly with the car problem spent £400 on a new battery and in fact it was an alternator problem. They don’t even know how to use a multimeter. So avoid this useless company.
Just used AA app to call out mechanic to attend to flat tyre at home – Beverley East Yorks. Mechanic attended in half an hour and couldnt have been more helpful with advice. 10/10. Full marks for speed courtesy and efficiency.

They are absolutely hopeless with dealing with insurance claims and complaints. Their agent was rude and they should not be allowed to deal with insurance, could do with shutting down completely in my views, Disgusting and overpriced shoddy service. You have been warned. AA Dealer Promise. Not Worth a Light. The AA does not regulate the dealers who bear its name. I was a dealer for several years and know first hand. AA Warranties are administered by Third parties Namely The Motoring Organisation and WMS and just charge these companies substantial amounts for the Branding. All That Glitters is not Gold.
The RAC are 10 times better. Waited 2 hours for recovery, quoted 80 minutes and just kept changing the expected time by 5 minutes. 40 minutes late. Also had their insurance and they tripled the price in the second year. Poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Everytime I use the aa through my platinum account with Lloyd’s I have nothing but praise for the patience the guys have had and how much they explain the problems, couldn’t recommend these guys enough
A good way to WASTE your money, they treat clients like ANIMALS, leaving you waiting for AGES (6 hours), and then if you try to make a complain, you’ll never get an answer from any of those “persons”. Hope you close one day!!!!!!!!
