Write a ReviewFun for the children as well as adults . Water flumes and also graduated walk in which is great if you struggle to get in .
We too chairs and a picnic and there was loads of space . You can also buy food …
We visited the indoor pool. The site could do with some maintenance and repairs: the ceiling above the pools is damaged and some of the changing room doors cannot be closed. As a father taking my daughter for her first swim, we had to go …
The park it self is fine. But the tiki food place is not good at all. I paid for food which they didnt write down properly so after paying i was told i didnt pay for it. So i paid for a 2nd time not to have any confusion and again they …
The longest surviving outdoor pool. A great place for families for the young and old. They have reasonably priced food available at both ends of the pools as well as Slush puppies! It’s cheap to enter the pools and you can stay allday if …
Easy to book online, free parking, nicely maintained grassy areas. Good coffee. We had a lovely day. Knocked off a star as toilets could have been better maintained but otherwise a pleasant place to be on a warm day.
Surprised how big the lido was, good facilities, kids had fun. The water was a little chilly as to be expected in the UK but fine for the kids.
Stunning place. Absolutely massive. I can’t imagine it ever getting crowded to the point of feeling crowded.
Water was clean. The depth was so great for little kids to have fun and the …
We came down from London and really enjoyed our day. Huge swimming pool, great slides, sand pit for little ones and paddling pool and lots of grass area. Water freezing but great on a hot day. Will definitely be back!
Made my only visit to the outdoor lido on a hot and busy day. The place was filthy, both the water and surrounding area. There was half finished takeaway food laying everywhere. The toilets were disgusting. They basically let too many people in making it impossible for them to keep it clean.
Lovely place for kids just be wear of the wasps in the slides xx
Great day at the Lido, big pool with multiple areas for different activities, small baby/toddler pool, shallow big pool for playing on inflatables, 2 flumes for over 8’s, diving board, lane swimming, deeper pool area’s for jumping in. …
Great for families. Always have a fantastic time here.
Was very very busy, with the hot weather but my 10yr old loved the pool.
Food wasn’t to bad or badly priced for a meal.
I wanted to love my visit today but the pool was filthy, a lot of leaves, dirt, bird feathers and dead bugs on the surface of the water and it wasn’t like it had accumulated over the course of the day because we were there from 10am. The …
The pool is nice, lots grass area to sit. It was very busy, not surprising given the weather. The lifeguards were doing an amazing job, seemed really observant. Staff were friendly. Only disappointment was there were very long queues for …
Amazing outdoor pool lido slides diving boards.. Kids loved it.
So surprised to see such a large Lido. Large pool for swimming, large shallow pool for splashing around in, small very shallow pool for very tiny people, 3 different flumes all included in the price. There were at least 8 lifeguards on …
Plenty of space, pity we did not pick a warmer day. Looks a bit jaded, Grandchildren loved it
After a very long time, this was the first time I have been back. The improvements made are good, the complex is well run with plenty of lifeguards on duty. Will definitely be coming back..My only gripe, was that I had to pay the going rate …
Great place, good price for a whole day out.
Friends and my own child had a great time.
Not sure if toddler paddling pool ment to be green, assuming as open to public …
Had to give a 3 even though we had a great day. Mainly because the toilets were filthy and no disabled toilets at all. When asked a member of staff I was directed to a portable toilets that was in a disgusting state. Definitely wouldn’t …
Great place to keep kids entertained for the whole day. Shame toilets a bit of a mess. Very good price for family entry, hope to visit again. Would recommend you arrive early to get a good spot and parking onsite. Otherwise it’s the local park or off street.
Plenty parking, big clean pool and lots of staff. We have a wonderful time. There is a waffle/iceecream place and slush and hot food too. We took a picnic and it was perfect. Poo floats, gazebos, tents all welcome!
Good fun day out for the family. Slides are good, don’t be afraid to try them out. Water is chilly, but lovely once you’re in. Arrive early if you want to park in the car park.
Lots of space to sit down and still be near the pool. Ice creams expensive but really nice. Needs to be tidied of cigarette butts around the grass areas!! Not nice. …
It’s ok. Alright place to spend time but it’s dirty. The toilets are stinky and dirty. Doesn’t look like they get cleaned and the pool well it didn’t look clean. Had lots of grass, feathers and bits in the water. But it’s a big pool and had …
It’s a really good sized area of grass with several trees for shade. Most of it is unused as everyone wants to be next to the pool. With all that space it would be nice if people were more considerate and played ball/racquet games away from …
Would definitely recommend Aldershot lido.
I was a bit apprehensive after ready reviews about it being filthy. The pool by the end of the day was messy however that has to be expected. The toilets where …
First time there today. Waited over an hour in the blazing heat to get some mediocre food! The shortage of drinks on the hottest day of the year was ridiculous, couldn’t even get a cup of water from anywhere! They knew how many people would …
Not a great experience here today, poor planning and organisation on the lido management. Over an hours queue I’m the unshaded area for food/drink saw one girl faint head first onto the concrete. Horribly slow service was causing lots of …
We love Aldershot lido because A it’s cheap and B because it’s super fun. It has 3 slides up high with 2 super fast and one very long blue slide which if you sit down in super slow! We highly recommend going if you need something fun and …
I had it at 1 star previously, but just got a call from customer service who is doing everything they can it seems. They confirmed my earlier complaint, there website is down for several days already. So you can’t pre-book any Lido tickets …
I love this pool. It is exactly the same, pretty much as 40 years ago. It’s a bit tired, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I learnt to swim there and now all my kids. 💪👍♥️ …
Great pool and quite a few lifeguards but the toilets were vile and you could smell them from a distance. Would be nice if staff wondered around the grassed areas as quite a lot of rubbish around and 2 guys smoking weed!
Took our grandson. Was a bit chilly the day we went and water was too cold. Had to get him out and warm him up when his lips started turning blue.
Great fun for the kids! Massive pool of different depths for all ages, 3 nice slides, a diving board and nice grassy areas with sandpit and I think a football pitch. Lovely staff. Changing rooms & toilets a bit scruffy but no concern. I’ll go back for sure!
Was nice on a really hot day. disappointed with the restrictions on the slides as there was none for the younger children plus nothing in the water for the to do either luckily we had a float for mine but think something needs adding for younger children
Easy to book online. We went on a colder day so parked fine. The only down fall was the pool was dirty and the staff were really rude! Good value for money it’s a shame the staff let it down!
Great place for the price considering you can stay there from when it opens to when it closes …
READ THIS: If I could leave it 0 star I would, first off there is no space in the lido and no room, considering you need to book to get in there was an extreme amount of people near ad inside the pool, second of all the security was awful …
I have membership of the pool and try and swim after work in the evening. If you swim late it is quiet and peaceful. A really helpful way to deregulate after a long day. The staff are lovely and helpful. If you go regularly there’s …
The teaching pool was rather cold and my youngest was just shivering the entire time and the changing rooms could do with being updated. Other than that nice little pool and nice and quiet.
Great LIDO. Nicely kept, very clean, excellent staff. Pity about some of the local patronage; their language and behaviour really does reduce the family atmosphere.
Really nice pool was lovely. Food was quick and tasty. A few more benches would have been nice
Really good sized pool and overall area to sit and relax. Great value for a whole days activity.
Didn’t use the lido this year but I hear it was a good few months of use so I’m happy it’s funding it staying open for next year…..weather permitting
Really good day out for the family, even worth tolerating the sunburn, I do however feel there could be a slide for the smaller children as they are missing out on this sort of feature, apart from that a very pleasant day for all.
Loved it absolutely beautiful and amazing
Treat 3 stars as 5 if you don’t mind poorly maintained toilets and lack of showers. Apart from above all singing and dancing 80ties.
It’s the best 🌟 place to be for young or old. Only bad thing is it’s quite a drive from were I live and you never know if your going to get in or not, but otherwise it’s the best place to be. Only wish there was more of them about. …
First time we have visited. It was a great place very safe. Our grandchildren absolutely loved it.
Fantastic day out. My daughter can’t wait to go back. It’s such a good price you can’t really fault it. The only down fall was the changing area. Bins all open and just generally a dirty feel. Also my son was gutted he couldn’t ride the side because he is only 5.
Impressed with this lido, obviously very busy on a Sunday in August with weather being sunny and around 28degrees! Not much place to sit around the pool, best to get there early, there was a que but it was fast moving. I recommend to take a …
Fabulous pools, well staffed with attentive lifeguards, lots of green space, great for all ages, well signposted, excellent value for money. Will definitely be returning!!
I’ve only been there once, so far with my nephew and his mum. I think it helped that the weather was brilliant but the atmosphere was lovely and there were so many families there. …
Lovely staff, swimming pool is a little bit dated. Needs to be more user friendly. Not an easy entry into the water of the larger pool. Ladder steps. Small pool has gentle step entry, is lovely and warm but is quite shallow. Plenty of spectator seating for a small facility. Fitness centre also on site.
We had a great day out in the sunshine. We parked easily as we arrived when it first opened, we paid and were through the gate quickly and had found a spot to set up a Base in no time. The pool area was clean and safe and monitored …
Good value for entrance and the main pool and parkland area were well presented with plenty of lifeguards on duty.
Ice-cream stall was a little overpriced but food was comparable to other …
Great place to come in the summer for outdoor swimming it’s only open in the summer and gets incredibly packed so best to get there very early especially if you want a parking spot a parking is a nightmare two car parks and all the road …
Went on the August Bank Holiday weekend, and the queue to get in was a mile long. A lot of space once you are in, but was very crowded near the pool. …
Was ok. Downfalls were… Wheelie bins were kept in the changing rooms, no undercover shelter to eat and a lot of leaves and bits of rubbish floating in the water. Not well maintained as far as cleanliness but still the kids enjoyed it.
I lived very close to here in my youth. It used to be billed as the finest in the south and I see no reason to change that billing. It’s an excellent place for swimming, sunbathing, picnicking. You could spend the whole day there and not get bored.
I have not visited here for a long time. If I have one real moan moment, it is this: Swimming late at night is fine but as we left the pool, staff are already cleaning the shower area and cubicles down. This made me feel really awkward …
What a lovely lido. There is a space for everybody even on hot days. Queues at the till build up but the place has a big capacity. Big pool for diving, swimming and another one for splashing and those less confident to swim. Slides as …
I visited Aldershot Lido today on Sunday 08/07/18. And I must admit I was very disappointed. As first, we had to queue. Which I can understand. But there were little kids waiting in line in this hot weather while adults were coming and …
Soo bad the lido shut swiming pool indoors yes the pool was clean well done but the celling is a joke all rusty and dirty around the pool as well nice staff though
This is the perfect lido. Clean. Lovely grassy area for a picnic. Lifeguards. Kiosk with chips and icreams etc. Entrance fee very good value for money indeed. Would highly recommend a visit on a hot summer’s day.
Very friendly receptionist julie always smiles and helps with questions if needed early morning swim is best as its not filled with kids so gives the ones who want to actually swim a chance. We always go at 7am and never have never faced rudeness of any of the people there.
Good day . Brilliant value for money .
One adult,3 kids £19 from 10.30 am -6pm.
They loved it .
Great local pool, thanks for great service
Excellent value for money, very busy, 3 waterside and hot a cold snacks available.
We enjoy going here with our preschool kids, there’s a lot of space, a sand pit and the pool has a large shallow area as well as a tiny paddling pool. TBH it has been a bit chilly in the water when we have gone but fine if you only swim for …
Such a shame!
This review relates to the indoor pool.
This could be a fantastic facility. …
As a family we have visited the Lido several times during the holidays, I feel I need to commend the amazing staff who were all so polite and helpful.
Several staff took the trouble to stop and say hello and ask if we were enjoying …
Very friendly place, basic facilities, just what I need. Reasonably priced.
Very large outdoor pool view various depths. Plenty grass to sit on whilst sunbathing. Take your own picnic or purchase food there. (burgers, hotdogs, chips, ice-cream’s ect. Pool can be a bit cold but it’s refreshing when the weather is hot.
Avoid during school hols unless you fancy queuing for 2 hours. Entire car park full of families standing waiting to get in through one tiny entrance. Ridiculous. Obviously I did not make my 3 year old endure that so after driving almost an …
We enjoyed at the pool specially kids, but the worst thing is people are smoking here , ( smoking must extremely BAN ) .
First visit to Aldershot Lido last week and loved it. Enormous pool in lovely grounds and caters for both serious swimmers with a laned area, as well as very young children as there is lots of shallow water and older children have the …
Great family fun. Toilets a big let down, would feel better if there were some security. Great place to spend the day. Highly recommend arriving early to avoid long queues.
