Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council reviews

Streets are strewn with rubbish all over Sirhowy and Tredegar and A465 and all of the A & B Roads around . The Welsh Government and Councils are desperately trying to promote Tourism but who would want to tour a load of rubbish everywhere

when you create a user for gwent its so hard like i run a company here any way they email shortly and 1 hour 2 hour 3 hours 4 hours it does not come

Ongoing issue with council taking refuse bin away from car park in front of abertillery Park. This has been rumbling on for months. A new bin has been installed by the bowling green but is overflowing as it hasn’t been emptied

Most of the staff are good especially the bin guys, and the polite ladies on the call centre phones etc.
But we pay highest Council tax in the UK for one of the worst services. …

If I could give no stars I would. You have made it as difficult ad possible for people to visit the civic amenities site.
Go online try and book an appointment to visit doesn’t work …

Tried to make a booking for a tip in blenau Gwent. It supposed to be opened normally.
I tried using phone with three different browsers and I tried using computer. …

The Number listed took me to Brynmawr Mcdonalds.

Typical council who raises money by fining drivers for parking and realise they have a defecit…answer treble the number of tickets they dish out. Net result will be drop in people parking and shopping

Positive points – my recycling & black sacks are always collected and the crews do a brilliant job under difficult circumstances. The team at the civic amenities site in Ebbw Vale also do a tremendous job & are always happy & helpful …

If their automative service worked it be great but all day today i have rang and been cut off every time by advisors. I guess just going to your local shop to pay your council bill is much easier. 5 stars though to the team at recylcling fantastic service puts the other half of the team to shame.

Made a general enquiry about emptying public rubbish bins in my street and was fobed off with the answer ” im not going down that road ” and didn’t want to discuss the subject. Feels like beating you’re head against the wall with this council, wouldn’t know about customer services if it slapped them in the face.

Well after booking an appointment at the recycling site and then getting a reminder on our phone saying the time and date we had booked for,on the day my husband loaded the car in the pouring down rain and wind drove to the site only to find out that it was SHUT I joke you not to say we are fuming is an understatement …

Terrible service. Worse council on Wales.. Web site needs improvement, goes around in circles.. Poor

dont answer phones ,dont provide up to date information on web site but highest cost to those of who pay council tax,totally useless and wholly non existant service ,just spent 25 minutes hanging on telephone listening to rubbish music to find out if tip open

I’m fed up cleaning up AFTER the recycling bins have been collected. Either the bins blow over or the recycling blows everywhere when it’s being emptied. How could any council think that this would work! MUPPETS

The speed the lorry driver goes when gritting the roads.. going at least 35 mph up Charles Street Tredegar… shocking

Food recycling not collected yet again and no one answers the phone. Food waste will have to go in the black bins now which they will no doubt complain about.

From my own experience I got to say that you make the government look useful.

People in BG only have themselves to blame they keep moaning about this council week in week out yet still vote to keep a labor run council…. Wake up people if they put a donkey up they would still get voted in….DO SOMETHING ABOUT…….. Over and out..

The chap on payment desk in Ebbw Vale is probably one of the most unhelpful and rude.. I’ve had the misfortune to come across.

Trying to report lack of street lighting…register….log in….what. A load of rubbish is the web site…is this deliberate so you can’t report or complain…

Tried to get a replacement food waste bin this morning…nobody answered the phone!!

Rung several times with no one picking phone up waited 15 minutes tryed again with same result

Was wondering if anyone is working tried for several days now to arrange collection no answer.

Absolutely joke wouldn’t pay them in rusty washers council my arse

Ring them and no help, and the website is is less than useless, robbing swines quick enough to take your money though.

5 out of 5 all the people who voted its a government building not a fancy resturant
