Blyth Community Hospital reviews

When you have to go to the hospital, the expectation is long waiting times, staff running around and exorbitant parking charges. This is the polar opposite at this hospital. Every time I have been here, I have either been seen on time or early. The staff are excellent and there’s ample free parking. Overall, a tremendous hospital.

Don’t ever send your elderly relative to this hospital, they will just sit in their chair day after day and not be looked after, my partner was in their for 4 days before he was visited, only because I made such a fuss, he is deteriorating …

Ward 3 was excellent, looked after my mother for last few weeks of life with such care and dignitiy.All staff work as a team and such good communication even when under pressure with work load, well managed.Well done to all, carnt praise you enough.

Minor injuries states it closes at 5 although this is not the case. I went down with my child at 4:15 and they wouldn’t see him, I think the opening times need to be altered.

My Father was transferred here from the RVI after his operation to recuperate. The staff & facilities were great.
