This is the worst council! Nobody answers the phone, how many times I have called. Then I learned (not from them) they are working from home! Why!!! What are they paid for???? SOOOOOO ridiculous.
I have lost the will to live when dealing with BCBC. It takes way too long for them to pick up and your already on the phone for several minutes before your even put through to a department…and then they don’t pick up for 45 minutes.Absolute bloody joke.
Waited over 50 minutes for someone to answer the phone , no joy. Quick enough sending out demands for council tax. Absolutely dreadful service and no value for the extortionate amount of council tax we are charged. Would have given them no stars if option was available
Nobody answers the phone. Can’t speak to anyone in person. Staff working from home, zero customer service.
The services are absolutely a huge joke. We pay one of the most expensive council taxes in Wales, for such a poor services. Long holding hours on phone lines, missed trash and garden waste collections. Such a joke.
Breaks my heart when I realise I have to phone the council for something. Wait for ages for someone to answer and you know in your heart nothing will be done about it. If its council tax your ringing about then thats even worse.
sending an email , the response was quick and decisive. They called me after a few days to arrange a visit. In the same way, when I fill in the applications and send an e-mail, the answer is in my mailbox after a few days.
The worst Council in the UK yet one of the most expensive. Nothing is fit for purpose nor the service we receive (or don’t) is value for money. I’m actually at a loss as to where our council tax payments go. Huge overhaul is needed along with an external audit of our monies
Impossible to get in touch!!! Recycling service is awful , they refused to collect one of the recycling bags and I have no idea why , yet there is nobody in the office to provide any explanation or support. Simply awful, seriously why the hell we are paying so much for the service that is non existent
Absolutely disgusting people, I agreed to pay and confirmed to pay council tax around 70 quid every month l and now I had a letter threatening me that I will hear from the magistrates court over about that I owe nearly 200 quid that I cannot afford l. Absolutely disgusting and a shame for pe3who work there.
They were meant to change our address and didn’t so council tax bills we were meant to know about, we didn’t know about, and they have passed it over to bailiffs!!!!!! Disgusting council, had many other problems with them. I know a man who works for numerous councils and says this is by far the worst council he has ever seen.

Spoke to a really helpful man on the phone with regards to a blocked culvert at the rear of my property, the same day somebody came to inspect and early the next day the matter was resolved . Very impressed with this service .

Highly user friendliness found in my visit, the gentleman who served me is great in his knowledge about the subject what I was speaking to him, great approach, in short time of span the officer sorted out the matter.
