The experience was great though. Used the services to travel to Guernsey as a …
Despite some delays to and from Guernsey from the English mainland via Portsmouth, it was a really enjoyable trip across the Channel – we lucked out with spectacular weather and subsequently calm waters…The staff on board and in the ferry …
Check in staff were friendly, we received several emails and texts prior to check in to let us know what to bring with us to check in (photo ID, booking confirmation number is needed). Quick through check in, Sat in car park for minimal …
We were a bit weary about this journey after many reports of the trip being very bumpy… but it seems we picked a good smooth day for our crossing. Yes it was at times a little bumpy but nothing major. There were several different eating …
Had a great day trip to guernsey, staff were all very friendly especially Jackie and Ted on the bar who went out of there way to keep our drinks stocked which were stored elsewhere on board. The trip was lovely and the only downside was the departure lounge in guernsey as the cafe only had cold drinks and crisps
Jack from the Jersey Office. Thank you so much for your efforts and amazing customer service. I stupidly booked through Direct Ferries and they royally messed up which involved me getting turned away and could’ve costed me a lot of money …
To book online was impossible, chat didn’t help, wasn’t bothered, would crash at return details. After 7 attempts, by myself and friends we gave up.
Typical large company, don’t want customers but need them. High up in this company? Listen to your non customer s
The journey itself was fine, but the staff in the club lounge were unfriendly and downright rude. Even if you are busy there is no need to be rude.
Enjoyed the trip to Guernsey. All staff helpful and efficient. Facilities clean. Would use the service again.
Took our van and puppy in cage in June. At gate check in was efficient. Looked after and personal service. With dog on board we had a PAW disc on windscreen and Queued with other pet owners to go on designated area, on outer edge of …
Re:Clipper
Five stars because I could speak to a human. I found online booking complicated, so very relieved I could ring up. My crossing was comfortable both ways and the …
Ferry is clean and tidy but the standard ocean traveler seating is worse than economy on an aircraft! When booking spend the extra few quid and go for up front with the leather recliners and a private bar. Much better seats and much better …
What a great way to travel. Modern lovely tri-hull ferries. We used the club lounge but the open seating looked very good indeed. We had a smooth, fun crossing to and from Guernsey. The catering was pretty ordinary but was satisfactory. The loading and off loading was very quick indeed. Highly recommended.
Our first trip with Condor. We travelled from Poole-Guernsey. Driving on and off the ferry was well organised. There were plenty of available seats allowing all four of us to sit close to one another. The crossing was mostly smooth only …
Cancelled our ferry home from Guernsey with only a few hours notice. No offer of any assistance despite being stranded late on a Saturday evening, on a small island, in the peak of the summer holidays, with no accommodation for 2 children …
I have only given 3 stars because on the outward journey Poole-Jersey we did not like the Ryan Air style seating arrangement. Saying one can select seats is a nonsense because it is those who get onto the ferry soonest that are able to …
Great trip as a foot passenger to Guernsey. Good value for money. As the weather was good spent the majority of the sailing out on deck although enough seating indoors available. Small duty free, bar and cafe. All reasonably priced. Would definitely sail with Condor again
Adequate service. Friendly staff. And they dealt with a serious emergency in a calm and professional manner.
Very happy with the efficiency, cost and good level of service on both crossings to and from Poole-Jersey. Good selection of food and drinks. Facilities and seating are clean and well set out. Kids room with a screening of Disney films a big plus for all the family! Would definitely use Condor again
Comfy seats in Club Lounge and we were looked after by efficient and friendly staff.
I was pleased to see that staff did not allow passengers to sit in seats other …
Easy access on website, completely clear step by step booking and payment straightforward. Signage to the ferry terminal could be improved in Portsmouth. Easy getting onto the vessel, first time taking my car on a ferry, clear signage on …
Beautiful trip to Guernsey😊 although was a rocky trip enjoyed the ship😊👌
Travel Departures were on Time & well notified …
Our experience of Confirm ferries us very much a take of two halves.
We were booked to Jersey and back on Commodore Clipper with a superior cabin for …
Ferry from poole was an engine down – delayed. Onward journey from Guernsey – cancelled. Had to wait until the “17:40” sailing to come to Guernsey from St Malo. This didn’t leave St Peter Port until 18:40. Eventually we disembarked in St …
I booked a reclining seat for the overnight return trip from Guernsey to Portsmouth. A few snacks and drinks were provided, but not replenished, which was disappointing since we were on the boat for 13 hours and arrived 1 hour late. The …
Outward to jersey on the fast ferry was an amazing experience.
We reserved seats in the lounge which was well worth the money, leg room, good view, quiet & comfy. Food was good too. …
Average trip. Nothing outstanding and not sure the lounge is worth the extra money. Most staff friendly and helpful but some not really into the whole customer service ethos, for example on the outward journey not complimentary drink offered. Smooth transition on and off the ferry.
If using for a holiday to Jersey consider carefully before booking.
I booked to go for a few days holiday in Jersey and about 36 hours before the …
Really great journey. The staff were very helpful with our young family to get up via the lift etc. Facilities were all good. It’s a shame there is no longer a little softplay area for children, although the little movie area with a few …
Way more relaxed than flying. OK the return was delayed a couple of hours, you just wander round and chat and have a coffee. No stress. make sure you book the right seat or cabin on the o/night trips. I picked a lounge seat which didn’t recline enough but had limitless free tea and biscuits.
The morning/all day sailing from Portsmouth to Guernsey on August 26 was a smooth and enjoyable trip. Very nice food available from the cafeteria and an efficient boarding and deboarding by Condor employees. …
We enjoyed a day trip to Guernsey earlier this year. Condor is a great way to travel. The views are stunning and the voyage is so relaxing with food and drinks, plus duty free goods all available on board.
Nice little boat
Did not realise the duty free was actually a good deal till I got to Jersey and saw the prices here!
Travelled from Jersey to Poole on Condor Voyager. My husband needed a wheelchair to take him from the car to the passenger lounge. This was done very willingly, and he was brought back to the car by wheelchair when we docked at Poole. All …
I travelled from Portsmouth to Jersey and back. Was a good trip, I upgraded to the lounge and this was good value and a necessity really. I got the night boat back and I was able to sleep reasonably well in the reclining chair. Will definitely use again.
Very good from check in to disembarking, all helped by very smooth seas in both directions. A little disappointing that there were a lot of people in the lounge that had clearly not paid for the seating as they were constantly moving around …
Poole to Jersey was late in leaving by about 1.5hrs and our return due to arrive in Poole at 12.45am was just in before 4am (yes we had accommodation booked which we were hardly able to get value from due to lateness). …
I will never use Condor Ferries again. I paid extra for the sea view table and seating at the front of the ship, and this was fine on the outgoing trip. However the return trip was by far overbooked. My wife and I were seated on opposite …
Good service. All staff friendly and helpful.
Just don’t know why we had to be there 1.5 hours before sailing.
Also, toilet facilities poorly signed at Poole.
Otherwise would have been 5 stars
Enjoyed the sailing both out and in.
Slight delays on both trips, mainly on book.
The boat and cabins were nice and clean and all staff friendly and helpful. …
The crossing itself was good, but the assistance was poor. I was by myself with my 1 year old and needed to use the lift to get down to the car deck. I was waiting there for 30 mins with a disabled couple after everyone had already gone …
The crossing itself was fine we booked the VIP lounge well worth the extra and cabin on way back. My only negative is the delays both on the way there and on the way back. On the way out we were supposed to Dock at 9.30 and it was well past …
We’ve been to Jersey from Poole during the summer holidays for the last 3 years, always travelling on a Saturday, or trying to. The boat is typically fully booked and it takes much longer than usual to load vehicles, meaning it’s delayed. …
Great trip very straight forward and I time both ways ( the waters were calm! )
On board seating comfy and the food was value for money. All members of staff very pleasant too.
Despite a long wait to unload and load the ferry the journey although 4 hours long was plea sent enough. The sea was very calm and the views on the way from Poole to Jersey offer the chance to see those that cannot be seen from the land. Disembarkation took little time depending where your car was parked on the boat.
Boat sailing from Poole was delayed for 2 hours, all customers were left outside the boat waiting to board in 33c heat. There was no one handing out water or checking if we needed anything, there was no reason given. Just left sat in the …
Not as advertised. The food available was rubbish ,j think the only hot hood was a sausage sandwich. The seats and tables were grubby and any decent seating was cordoned off for school parties! The shop was like a cupboard and half empty …
My dog escaped her cage on the journey. The staff told me she and the cage were inside the big cage. At the end of the journey she wasn’t there. No staff would help they were all trying to get off the minute the boat docked. One lad said he …
Very good port staff. Expert vehicle loaders. Hi speed crossings are fantastic.
I wasn’t going to review but as Condor have asked me to I will.
We left the harbour one hour late after as far as I can tell no information was relayed. We then travelled on only 1 of the 3 engines so a ferry that should …
Good trip to Guernsey as afoot passenger. Efficient check in and boarding both ends of the journey. The departures were on time and the ferries were clean with good service…..food was very good with a nice choice. Recommended.
First time on a SeaCat, lovely experience.
I found everyone helpful, from the moment of driving on to disembarking.
Helpful caring crew, tending a disabled man that had a mishap, well done Condor …
A great trip to France ftom Poole via bicycle.
Tho the sea was rough, not Condor’s fault, the trip went well. I will probably have a reserved seat next time as the journey is long and the non reserved was quite noisy.
Terrible service. Ferry was due to leave at 1900 didn’t leave till gone midnight was not informed or updated
Once on the ferry parked a car so close to use my wife and son couldn’t get out …
Lovely sailing experience from the professional car jenga experts to the bacon butties. Everything ran to schedule, the weather was amazing and it saved us a lot of driving. Would definitely book again.
Trip out fine – Ferry timings inconvenient for arrival in St. Malo. On the way back Ferry times back were appalling – early enough to stop me making a second booking with you again. …
A lot of room for improvement: 2h delay in Poole-Jersey-St. Malo crossing, completely chaotic in leaving the UK, total lack of information at all times both before and after boarding. Very crowded passenger areas, and extremely tight on the …
Our ferry was cancelled on the way home. We were put on the overnight ferry to Portsmouth instead of Poole from Guernsey. We slept on the floor of the ferry. Had to then pay for the cost of train fare home, rather than our lift home to Plymouth. Have not been refunded or contacted by condor even though I sent an email.
Going out fine but ferry was hours late returning from Guernsey, the same as it was in 2021. Club class crowded and had to ask just to get a cup of coffee. Last time we will use this service.
Ferry was delayed on Poole to St Helier crossing due to engine failure but no big deal really. Return trip was fine and really enjoyed the crossing – really fast and smooth. Friendly, professional staff. Would use again.
Great service from start to finish! Travelled from Poole to Jersey and back. We took the car over, so easy to book, park, enjoy the journey, plenty to eat and drink, and easy exit at the other side! So much nicer than the air travel. Easy 4 hour crossing
The whole process from booking to completing the journey was effortless. The ferry was very clean and staff amazing. …
Did the 4h clipper service Poole to jersey.
Found the cabin a little dated and the smell of hotdogs overwhelming. …
A wonderful day out in Guernsey. The cruise was smooth and the on board facilities were brilliant. Highly recommended.
The Condor staff and crew were excellent and very helpful, but the journey would have been much better if seats could have been allocated at the booking, stage, especially for the disabled (as my wife is) as she and I were left to find …
Travelled on Liberation 28/06/18 Poole to Guernsey . Great smooth crossing, helpful staff. Upgraded to Oceanview seats, well worth it, comfortable and the view in the photo says it. …
Fantastic, smooth sailing, had best seats, front of ferry, as paid extra for horizon lounge, well worth every penny.
Will 100% be using again next year, highly recommended
The service was fantastic, especially the care you took with helping my elderly and disabled mother on and off the boat. Nothing was too much trouble. Many Thanks. I look forward to sailing with you again!
As I was a foot passenger, l could have walked from Gunwharf Quays, but I opted for the local bus, 15 mins from Portsmouth Harbour to the International Port. …
A relaxed comfortable journey. We usually travel to Jersey once a year with dogs. Journey out was quite rough and staff were being very helpful to those not travelling well.
Ferry was 2 hours late eventually leaving Guernsey around midnight, making a really late arrival in Poole.
Not a great deal of information as to why apart from being busy in Jersey on 1st …
The ferry ran to time, on board refreshments were adequate. Would have been better if I could have booked my seat. Food on board a bit plastic but adequate.
From Poole to Guernsey, then Guernsey to Poole. Check in very straight forward, food was not great. I had a bacon bap, the bap was dry and the bacon like rubber. Didnt bother on the way back. Staff lovely and helpful. Only thing that …
I would rate Condor with zero points but 1 is the lowest I can choose!
Having booked car & caravan at 12m length from Poole to Cherbourg months ago I realised when the confirmation came the height was ot enough for the van. I …
Got turned away as I had some personal items in my van and I was returning home to guernsey they told me it was freight I had a child with me and my partner and had to drive to Portsmouth and some lovely lady called Tracey got me on the …
We travelled Club Class as foot passengers. Outbound on Liberation was excellent. Return on Clipper was disappointing. Departure was more than two hours late and facilities were limited.
Did the job getting us to Jersey and back in summer, great on-board staff and a problem free journey. The only reason its 4 stars and not 5 is the newer ferries just don’t seem to be what condors used to be. This was our first time on both …
Awful staff. Unhelpful and giving out inacurrate information. There is a 2.5 hour boat delay. They won’t look after or check in luggage before the sailing so that people can go out for a walk, even those with dogs. And I’m now listening …
Sailed from Poole to Jersey and back. Generally all good. Preferred having allocated seats as travelling with a disabled person. I was boarded almost last and was anxious about getting an easy seat for her.
Booking online was easy, had no problems with paying etc.Had no problems with my journey at all. All the staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Will definitely travel with condor ferries again.
