Various visits for appointments etc. Overall I would give the hospital an excellent rating. The staff are really helpful and usually run to time. If they are running late they are quick to tell you. Parking is rarely easy and, like most a&e departments, there always seems to be a long wait if you have to go for an emergency.

After a nasty fall Dorchester hospital looked after me so well. I needed emergency surgery and a bed was found really quickly. Yes, staff are really busy but were so kind. Some of the staff are brilliant, others have an awful attitude but the worst part is the car park. It is impossible to attend an appointment on your own because it can take up to an hour to get a parking space!
