Planning Department is non-existent, over a year on waiting, communication with them is minimal. The ask for ETO, then they missed the deadline, still I have to chase, I wouldn’t be surprised if this Department gets outsourced. Heads would roll in the private sector for such poor service.

Just the worst to be honest. Calling for the simplest things take an hour. Wait times to get through are an absolute joke it’s jarring!! Conflicting information always given, rude staff on more than 3 occasions. I dread when I need to call them! Just be prepared to take half a day of your time out to deal with this council.

Shambolic – ringing just before 1 pm on Thursday been holding on for nearly 10 minutes obviously out to lunch AND according to their website they are closed reopening at 10 am on Tuesday – give me strength. If you were in the private sector you would be out of business. Now abandoning call. Will be taking this is with my MP

The planning department do not stick to the timescales they are governed by. I have waited 3 months beyond and they do not have the staff to help. Sad that they have the monopoly as I would never recommend this organisation, I sadly have to sit and wait.

This review is in relation to the council’s looking after of the roads on their patch: it’s awful. They don’t fix things when reported through their stupid website reporting system, it seems they don’t care. Photos attached of a 90mm deep pothole I’ve been trying to get fixed for ages. The metal rule is 30cm long for scale.

Litter spoiling a really lovely old town. Surprising in this era to see plastic bags being dished out in the market. So disappointing. This could be a residents issue but all the bins were full on a Saturday morning so the least the Council could do is provide somewhere to put litter

Awful council. Spending the money is all that they are doing. Litter everywhere, destroyed streets, increasing the coucil tax year by year without providing anything back. Now they stopped collectind the brown bin and ask for extra money to do it. Despicable.
