Write a ReviewI had a c-section at this hospital few months ago. The surgery team were amazing and the surgeon did great job. However, after that it was a bad experience in the maternity ward. I ve been left without lunch and dinner until I asked! They …
Came to get some blood test done. The booking was quite easy, then I got an email and text reminder the day before. Went in and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. The nurse was very nice and fast.

I was in day surgery for teeth removal. Everyone was fantastic, from the nurses to the anesthesians to everyone involved in my care. Excellent communication skills and empathetic practice which helped me feel a little more at ease.

My father’s just had his partial knee replacement at Epsom and is utterly delighted with the care he received and very grateful to all the amazing NHS nurses, physios, receptionists, the surgeon and supporting teams. Thank you!
Dreadful experience in A&E. Not seen for 5 hours despite projectile vomiting and intense pain. Staff not interested nor properly recording matters. Failure to provide proper pain relief. By time of admission developed sepsis and required ICU.
Terrible hospital very slow and has long waiting lists and always cancels my appointments for stupid reasons as therefore more and more health problems are being added on. Receptionist are not professional at their job, so rude and …
I was sent here after I rang 111, turned out all it was, was an infection in my foot. However I suffer badly from anxiety and the receptionist at the out of hours was amazing. She really calmed me down and understood me, I can’t praise and thank her enough. I hope she sees this and realises how good of a job she does.
Lovely experience giving birth here. All the doctors/ midwives/ carers are locket and I felt properly looking after. Thank you!
Lovely and amazing staff always willing to help.
Excep the Asian (Indian or Pakistani) female Pharmacist was very rude and disrespectful to her patients. I hope senior hospital management take a notice of this.

Fantastic experience this morning – went to A&E and was seen by a really professional and approachable doctor, X-rayed , given diagnosis, meds and crutches all within 90 minutes. Very impressed
A lot of NHS facilities receive poor reviews (regrettably though understandably), but my experiences with Epsom General thus far have been overall quite positive.

Antenatal, delivery and postnatal care has been outstanding at Epsom hospital. What an amazing team delivering 24/7 care
NHS 111 made me an appointment for 12pm. 3pm I still hadn’t been seen. Reception told me I didn’t have an appointment time but an arrival time, even though there is a clear Posting stating patients with NHS 111 appointments may be seen …
Very friendly and efficient staff, I was seen and sorted and sent on my way in about 75 minutes.
Was in yesterday with boy after a fall, the Dr’s and nurses on duty yesterday where amazing, and where so efficient, they did amazing at seeing kids as quick as they could and getting them home again, was so worried we would be waiting hours and hours, but we weren’t and it was great

To slow was there for mental health and they could of let me die the amount of time they take and I just wanted to go and no one would let me but wouldn’t see me so it’s pointless
If I had the option to give no star at all because of the terrible and inhumane midwives I would. I gave birth to my second son here after reading amazing reviews about the hospital online however, my personal experience was far from …
The John Kilner Unit (JKU) at Epsom District Hospital (EDH) is very good, very friendly and helpful staff. Photo is the waiting area as you can see the waiting area has a lot of information for Diabetic patients and a lovely fish tank to help patients relax

Have had to attend here both as an outpatient and via A & E and the treatment I have received has always been of the highest standard. Always friendly staff, helpful and understanding. Treat ALL the staff how you would like to be treated and you’ll not have a problem. Have saved my life twice to date.
Two weeks nearly and apart from a CT absolutely nothing has been done. Walking around with a wrist fracture without a cast for 2 weeks and lots of pain and not even in a backslab cast. In loads of pain in my wrist and scaphoid and nobody is bothering to do anything. Does nothing for my anxiety disorder.
I cannot recommend this hospital enough!!!

The Hand Therapy Unit is excellent. The therapists are knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful.
Having been here several times as a patient, the behaviour of staff here is a mixed bag, and the waiting times are usually long. The nurses are usually busy, and while some are attentive, they tend to give you unsuitable medication and …

Totally fantastic A&E attention and service, especially from (doctor) Katie, (physio) Sonja and ?Grace (radiographer). Badly bruised thigh not needing in-patient treatment, but confident that care would be excellent. A thoroughly well-run operation with superb staff.

EVERYBODY I met, my surgeon, anesthetist, theatre doctors and nurses, pre theatre nurses, ward doctors, sisters, nurses, physios, dinner lady, porters, cleaners were smiling and kind, wonderful. The nurses and sisters are angels.I cannot thank them all enough.
