Write a ReviewNice spot in the market, cool view from the second floor( you have to find the stairwell to get into the restaurant)
Nice selection of wines and the tapas were very good, the peppers were my …
pretty decent Spanish lunch place located right in the middle of Leadenhall market. we had great artichoke hearts and seabass. usual tapas are good too. a faire varier if wine is on offer, and it gets lively even during Tuesday afternoons More
Food was good, but the time to serve was incredibly slow – it took >2 hours to receive all courses, with 10 minute gaps between each plate of simple tapas arriving, on what was supposed to be a speedy business lunch. …
The food was okay, definitely not the best tapas we’ve ever had and it was pretty pricey for the portion sizes you got. The prawns weren’t the freshest either, tasted like they may have been from frozen. It was very quiet when we went (a …
It’s a really nice little tapas place but the food wasn’t amazing. The Sangria was great and the service was good. Most of the tapas were ok but the portions were tiny and we ordered the charcuterie board but it was so small, definitely not worth the money More
A great location for lunchtime dining with atmosphere. Attentive staff, good quality food and a view out over the market. Catered for gluten-free. Will be returning. More
A little disappointing! The venue is beautifully and food was above average but wow was the service/vibe weird. Booked a table for 8pm and arrived to be told they called twice during the day (didn’t answer as I was working) to let me know …
Great view, great service and when you order super fast and very yummy food. Their is a bar there you can order drinks but I couldn’t order Alcohol or wine since working at night can’t do it but totally yummy and delicious food
Good food and service. I would prefer more chicken options. Also, you need to climb a set of tight stairs so keep that in mind if you’re not overly mobile. More
Nice staff
Pretty decoration
We had some tapas including : patatras bravas, croquetas, tortilla de patatas …
This restaurant isn’t good only to taste new things; it’s also a comfortable place where you can hang out quietly with your friends and the staff is really kind with customers: they do their best for you to have a great experience. …
Really nice restaurant, we went there during the lunch time, which was really busy, but the manager gave us a table. Not the classic tapas, bit rivisited. Nice Service and amazing food and cocktails.
The place is very good and the staff very friendly. However, the food goes quite under average on my list. The portion also very little snd expensive, and non-delicious.
Thanks
Nice enough place.
I went here a LONG time ago and the decor hasn’t changed.
Food is OK, but don’t expect a traditional Spanish Tapas. …
Very great Tapas, but, I preferred the menu and the preparation which was a few years back. Anyways a good restaurant to relish Spanish food.
I went in this restaurant with my colleagues, the service was nice and the food was delicious. Nice place if you want eat some tapas.
Found this little gem of a place by chance and had a really delicious meal. I was with 3 friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Shame it was so quiet as deserves to be busy. Mason the waiter was a lot of fun and so engaging. We …
We had a lunch reservation for Monday September 19. We understand that it was the Queen’s Funeral Day, but an email informing us they were closed would have been courteous. We walked a long way to get there. We chose la Vina because of their gluten free options. Finding a replacement venue for lunch was very difficult. More
We used to go to La Tasca located close Liverpool Street. Since they closed that restaurant we decided to try this one. The menu contains less veggie option and I missed the mushroom, broccoli and it seems there are less tapas choices. …
Went in for a group dinner. I have tried 4 dishes and food was hit and miss. The Artichokes tapas dish was flavourful, both Cod & Sea bass main had no flavour, the vegetables in the dish were overcooked. …
Nice atmosphere above the fray of Leadenhall Market. Nice views of the market below. …
Comfy place, a little awkward to find. Food was really good and well portioned sizes.
Had lunch at La Vina today – terrible experience. Arrived at 1pm to an almost empty restaurant. Waiter didn’t come and take food or drink orders until 1.30. We explained that we were under time pressures and needed everything brought as …
Food was tasty, portions were small. Half the menu options were unavailable. More
Had dinner here with my friend. Friendly staffs and lovely dining atmosphere, though it’s always too crowded and people talking loudly. Iberian pork is really good and the way they use sauces is quite special. Fried aubergine is too oily …
Lovely place, friendly staff , great selection of tapas , better than in some places I have been in Spain. The croquete and pork cheeks are my favourite .
I am lucky enough to spend half my time in Catalunya and half my time in London. I really know whatbis good bad or mediocre tapas. I used to go to La Trasca which was medicre but yesterday was first time at La Vina since takeover during …
Absolutely delicious tapas. Had their house white and red and both paired with our meals perfectly. Very fair prices excellent quality.
Food was actually really good and staff very friendly. Main issue was service as not enough staff and after waiting 20 mins plus for the bill, never helps that it’s wrong. Shame, could have really like the place.
Amazing signature cocktails and nice spanish food
The food has got much better. Great service, friendly staff and great location. They do a deal for 3 tapas and a drink for £9.99, which had a great choice of tapas and excellent food and wine. Perfect for a lunch time meal
Great random find for dinner and drinks after work. The quality is consistent for both food and wine. Mason is a riot! We will keep coming back!
Cannot complain. 6 ladies out for lunch, the restaurant is spacious, food is delicious, served just the right portions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Waiting time was reasonable, will definitely return. …
Abundant dishes, but average quality. The price is quite right for the location the restaurant is situated in, but tapas are VERY small – and no bread is brought with them, so that makes them quite expensive, if compared to other Spanish …
My lunch at La Tasca was a real disappointed! The food was over-seasoned, dry and lacking of any original characteristics. Portions were very small for the price I paid and nothing I ordered tasted fresh.
Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Made our trip to London. 100% will be back
Food was hit and miss. The octopus, patatas bravas and padron peppers were very good, but the galician fish and the stuffed chicken breast were dry and tasteless. The churros were mildly undercooked – pale and more doughy on the inside than …
Great Tapas restaurant, wonderfully located in the heart of the city. Beautifully presented plates and authentic dishes.
Great selection of tapas. Service really good assisted in picking a good range of tapas. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyable
I went there with my work colleagues. Perfect place to have a drink and food after work. Food was excellent too and with some nice cocktails.
Fantastic…. food was brilliant, the waiter which I forgot his name was very professional and a good asset to the company, brilliant location and will defiantly visit again 🙂
Super cheap, fantastic food, great staff, great wine and a superb location, couldn’t ask for more
Super overpriced and overrated. The prawns we had tasted like salt and for the two of us we spent almost a hundred pounds…
Very good paella – the staff were a little awkward though.
Great tapas bar. Nice atmosphere and very good food. Highly recommended.
Food was good, though the service was rather lacking. The waiters did not listen suitably to our requests, though we got there in the end.
Took a little while to get the food but we were a large party so it’s understandable. Delicious affordable food and the portions were quite generous. They recommend 3 or 4 tapas per person but I could barely finish 3.
Great setting and atmosphere. Really good food compared to the last la tasca meal we had.
Very nice food and service especially staff
Lovely food and atmosphere – Mason in particular gave us incredible service and really helped us to enjoy the night, particularly when it came to drinks.
It’s a lovely place, nice food, overall had a good experience. Volume of the music could be lower but this might be to do with my personal situation or taste.
Fair food and good service. You can pretty much always get a table.
Very nice food. Great staff. But Noisy!
I met with a colleague here for lunch. Super tapas and attentive service, especially by Andrea and Mason. Very good 👌 …
Worth the trip. Excellent tapas and the sangria is also highly recommended. Pleasant setting with friendly service at reasonable prices in an amazing location. Would be happy to go again.
Decent food, relatively fair value, although they run a “kids eat free” promo the service staff was quite rude to our family as if we didn’t belong. Overall not very welcoming. Certainly not Spanish hospitality.
Found out they have totally change the menu. Was good. Not any longer. Menu has less than half the choice and has lost any semblance of true tapas. Will go again when they restore the original menu!
This place is ok. Food was cooked well, but service a bit slow. Also if you have mobility issues don’t go here, you have to climb 3 flights of stairs to the first floor.
Came with a group of friends and had a large range of tapas. Nice place for a casual dinner and some of the tapas were quite good. The meatballs and courgette fries were the group’s favourites.
Looks good but food quality is not very good, overpriced. Really disappointed.
Reasonable quality food only went to use Tesco vouchers to be told they don’t accept them. Service was good and the venue is quaint
On a Friday night, this place was horrendously busy and loud, and consequently had disastrously slow service. The quantity of food that you get is insufficient for the hefty prices. I cannot recommend that you go to La Tasca, and I will not be returning.
Great food, friendly staff. Awesome experience!
Extremely rude manager and staffs. Did not redeem my offer without any clear explanation given. Service is extremely horrible. Food was raw. Rice was hard. Absolutely dreadful.
After a long time i have visited my favourite restaurant la tasca with group of my frirnds. Highly disappointed with food and service. Staffs were rude and food was raw. Simple rice they could not cook it unbelievable. Got really bad stomach ughh. Not recommended at all. Complete waste of money.
Very good experience, the restaurant is in a romantic spot, food and sangria is great and dessert is to die for.
Food is nice overall, the place could do with a deep clean.
Paella average.
NOT FOR SPANISH PEOPLE, they don’t serve the food that they are telling you. More
well organised, good food, nice place and atmosphere! Ideal place to go out for lunch/dinner or for a break from work.
Not sure why this is the second Tasca entry in google for exactly the same place.
The food is awful, microwaved for some plates, too greasy. We ordered 9 tapas …
Came here as a recommendation. Absolutely gorgeous food. 10 plates between four of us was perfect!
Great experience
Team very friendly and welcoming More
One of the best paella in town and very friendly staff. David was very kind treat us well. The view and the music are awesome. …
Nice food, good service. Paella was really nice.
Over priced, tiny portions. Food quality average at best. Doesn’t allow any form of vouchers or discounts to be used.
The staffs are friendly, the food is nice, the atmosphere is relaxing
Every time I travel to London I stop by this place. Great atmosphere, great service and good quality food and vino.
Excellent value for money. Food is delicious & 2hrs bottomless Cava, just £24!!! Great Saturday afternoon.
Atmosphere and wine were really great, and convienent for after work. But the food was not great, I’ve had better tapas. The aubergine was greasy but the waiter very kindly didn’t charge us for it.
Was ok not very authentic Spanish tapas but ok for quick bite
