Write a Reviewfriendly staff, a well laid out carpark, great food in the cafe, a fun pool. nice sauna, I can’t fault it compared to tooting leisure centre with its cockroaches…
Please let people to leave the pool area when they want. No more time blocked swims thanks – brought in during covid never left …swim lesson’s can be in a separate lane away from normal swimmers. …
Good facilities but the failed to tell us to key in our car registration on parking which led to a fine. Staff were unhelpful an uninterested when we discussed this with them.
Good pool for babies and young children as they have upgraded it to suit them with a water fountain and slide but the pool temperature was too cold for babies
Latchmere Leisure Centre is my local gym and they’re excellent, the staff is always kind and communicative, and makes me feel like a welcome regular. Great for swimming of gyming, and with excellent rates for students.
Best pool for kids of all the Wandsworth Leisure Centres. Clean & warm changing facilities. Highly recommended for families
Great gym. Fair price. Administratively complex to get signed up, even for a one day drop in. Not sure why, the whole process is “necessary” before they can charge you the 12 quid daily rate. Which is a management failure that the front desk staff and the customer must compensate for. Nice gym though.
Very helpful staff, although it’s not always clear how much of the pool is available for swimming during some of the “just swim” sessions
Cute small soft play. I wouldn’t go o if I wasn’t local. Suitable really for kids up to 3 Cafe quite expensive and opens at 12. Only food bought there can be eaten there.
Very very good for children, staff today (Sunday) are teenagers who obviously don’t want to be here but otherwise a nice place
Since Covid, the services of this Centre has plummeted. I used to be able to bring my children swimming after school during the week before 6pm, now the last swim session they have for kids/families during the week is 3-4pm. This was the …
Been going here weekly for pulnamory rehab it’s got a pool gym cafe soft play area for kids and is a safe place for all in the comunity
They don’t have the slide anymore hasn’t been there for a long time. The waters temp varies sometimes its warmer than others..they have bought the wave machine back at every 45 minute intervals or half am hour I’m not sure as I don’t watch the clock..kids love it there though. Book online still.
Just had a visit here, I booked online for 4 people last week, walked straight in showed time got in the pool within 10 minutes of arriving, wonderful polite and friendly staff! The pool temperature is absolutely amazing! It’s so warm …
This is a large and well maintained place for the whole family. My son has been going to their famous swimming pool with waves since he was 3 years old, as it is very friendly for young kids. The gymnasium is very large and multiple …
I swim here three or four times a week. I have no wider view of the facilities but the swimming facilities are good. There is a high turn over of staff so how friendly and helpful they are depends on timing. As a regular user I tend not to …
Has to be my worse visit today, someone pushed my son in the playroom. Tried to find the guardian but couldn’t. Went to the reception a young guy on the braids told me this ( “tsk” then said calm man we don’t deal with this”) i understand …
The elephant slide may be gone, but the wave machine is back! Wey hey!
Horrific app to book, but that is common.
Don’t forget to put in your car registration plate after the gates for parking. …
Loved the wave machine!!! Good swimming. Good for family days out.
I would not recommend the Latchmere Leisure Centre swimming pool to anyone. The facilities are outdated and poorly maintained, and the pool water is cloudy and dirty. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, making the experience even worse. …
Been going here for over 20 years and monday I took my kids everything was broken… the elephant slide was taken away and the wave machine was broken. One lifeguard looked about 14 and was half a sleep sitting there. Everything was dirty …
We were here two weeks ago when a young boy was upside down in a rubber ring, right in front of the lifeguard who was paying zero attention. Thankfully 4 adults noticed and rushed to him to bring him up. When this was pointed out to the …
NICE PLACE FOR SWIMMING ANG GYM AND EAT
SWIMMING POOL
Nice Staff, clean but horreful Changing Rooms Area, to cold, without any comfort …
1) Even if you have premium membership you can’t get to the swimming pool because you have to book each time and It’s impossible to “catch” tickets to book because it’s overcrowded. …
Old fashion leisure centre, a nice warm water with waves, great for families with children.
This is specifically about the pool. I go swimming with my toddler. There is plenty space to change and one half of the pool is very shallow so good for children who want to run about in the water. You are not allowed any deeper than adult …
Just dont book.
Changing rooms smell of urine so badly, its expensive as you’re only able to book in groups of 5 for just 1 hour, the pool itself looks filthy, not only that …
Booked a ‘Family Splash’ session here. They force you to buy a family ticket (for 5 people) for the session, even if there is only two of you. This makes the pool about 50% more expensive than other places if you are a small family. …
The Latchmere is the best swimming experience at many pools I’ve had in thirty years. It’s perfect, lanes or an easy leisurely section. The gym is very good too, there is always someone around for advice. And all the staff are sociable …
We used to come here as kids for the waves and slid . And did a couple summers ago .
Went today and no waves , no slid and now charging £5 for soft play . Was …
We come here regularly with our 2 year old and 0 year old for swimming. I love the beach style pool with wave machine which is always a hit with kids! …
Have been using the pool for years. They provide good quality lessons for my young children as well as providing fun weekend free swimming. Weekends can get busy and I recommend arriving early in the session to avoid queues. Upstairs …
The price is decent and the pools alright nothing fancy but OK.The waves are enjoyed by most and the small slide is great for kids. However the cafe here is incredibly over priced and poorly kept the play are is small and our kids found it …
Great pool for kids. My 6 yr old loves it here compared to the many other local pools which seem to hate children. She says, “It’s so cool. I’d give it one hundred plus plus plus. I like jumping over the waves. Everyone likes it who knows …
I was very disappointed that when we booked the recent swimming session we were not told that the elephant slide was closed off, the sauna was locked due to Covid and the wave machine was broken! As these are the only reasons we drive across town to come to this pool, we felt somewhat cheated!
Update 2020. I don’t know what’s happening here but everything going into a wrong direction. They raised up the price first. They said there is a refurbishment, but they did nothing just closed the pool down for weeks. After a few days they …
About a fiver on the weekend for an adult and two toddlers to come. Lots of changing area which is good plus lockers (bring your own lock) The pool itself is well setup for kids as it is a slopping entry , like you are at a beach. …
I come here to swim and overall it’s a great facility – clean pool and never very busy (I often have a whole lane to myself). My only complaint is that the water is too warm for exercising – by far the warmest pool I’ve ever swum in. I …
Good place to take young children swimming & soft play. The soft play area is really good as it is in the cafe area where parents can sit & watch little ones playing & food & drink options are excellent. Swimming pool is really good too. It …
Friendly staff, easy entry to the pool, warm water, not too busy.
I am happy that I discovered that place few weeks ago. The swimming pool is excellent, the staff are amazing and very friendly. And so close to the Battersea Park. I am going for scuba diving holiday on Wednesday. But after arrival, I will sign for the membership
I accidentally chose the Latchmere instead of Putney Leisure Centre but thought I would give it a try as not too far away. The pool it would seem is more for children and families as it is very shallow. Their website gave strict …
We visited the pool two times with kids. The place has a big leisure pool that is open to everyone, and a smaller rectangular pool that is reserved for swimming courses. The leisure pool has both shallow and deep areas, and a big …
Greedy scheme covered with the COVID excuse.
45 minutes blocks offered, just unacceptable!
Defo taking advantage as we are so stupid supporting this scheme with our …
My children and I love this pool and often come down during school holidays. The pool waves are fun and the deep end is often the least busiest part of the pool so despite the pool being packed out, there is a good amount of space towards …
Best swimming pool I’ve been to, it really caters for children of all ages and swimming abilities. I love how it goes from shallow with increasing depth. The only downside is the changing facilities. There family changing room is limited …
Great pool for kids. Unfortunately poorly managed and sometimes understaffed. Were made to wait in a queue for over 55 minutes to be told that we wouldn’t be allowed in even though we had been given multiple guarantees throughout. Not ideal …
The Music and Movement is good for the young ones and a great rainy day activity. It’s nice that we can go up to the soft play afterwards as well, though it can get quite busy. …
Helpful staff, nice pool with water waves every 45mins. Sauna available by pool. Great pool for children and babies as a baby pool is also available with a slide. Not to keen on the mixed changing rooms many strangers around with the children. Padlock needed for the lockers. Life guards on watch but some don’t seem to interested.
When I lived in the area, I loved going swimming here. The instructors are very friendly and helpful if you are going for lessons (which are very often on deep discounts) and the pool and locker area are very nicely maintained. There’s a …
Since it’s been under new management the place is dirty and more often than not the pools are cold. Council need to put a decent management company in and not the cheap option! They also need to sort out maintenance issues. We’ve stopped …
Swimming pool is really good fun. Love the wave machine every 30mins. Changing area can be really wet so just got to take care. Also prices are not too bad paid £10 for two adult swim sessions
We go here a lot with my two year old who loves it. The swimming pool has a sloped ‘beach entry’ so she can run in and out and splash in the shallows which she loved. She also enjoys the tall elephant slide. After swimming we go upstairs to …
Staff are not very friendly and they can be rude at most times. They are not very accommodating to members and visitors; they all look grumpy. If not for convenience, I will not recommend this place to anyone. Facilities are not great yet …
TL;DR please fix the poolside wheelchair!
On the one hand, the staff were helpful when I went swimming with my friend who needed to use the accessible changing room/shower and its poolside wheelchair. …
Good cafe, very family friendly environment. The gym is a bit small. Need more time slots for swimming lanes.
Yes, it’s a council gym so it doesn’t have fancy showers or shampoo or towels etc. But it’s incredibly friendly, has everything you need in terms of equipment and I have NEVER had to wait for a machine because it was too busy, or been …
On the day I visited wave machine was broken or so I was told once I had paid and got in the pool. To find after being there 3 hrs and finishing my swim that they magically fixed it and waves were on. Maybe a bit of bad luck. Also must …
I’ve been coming here a long time & it’s basically OK for the price, but was a bit annoyed today, was part of a group of 15 or so people who spent quite a long time standing waiting in the reception because the pool was “too busy”. Finally …
I am reviewing this for kids swim lessons, which is how I use the centre. I’ve been coming here for years, value for money for lessons is fantastic (compared to private companies). Somewhat recent refurb really improved the facilities; …
Great place. The pool is just perfect for toddlers, very shallow slope, and a small slide. Upstairs there’s a decent cafe, and a small soft play area for young kids. It can get very busy on weekend mornings though, one in one out sometimes.
Luv this swimming pool as i dont have to use steps. Lovely and warm cant do freezing cold like some leisure centres. Cafe upstairs lift if needed very nice staff very helpful and its great if you have disa ilities.
First started using the swimming pool which my daughter enjoys so much. The funnest part of swimming for her is the waves which is activated every 30mins. …
Staff are amazing but they should employ a cleaner because the changing area was dirty. What was nice was the guy in reception saying goodbye to me and my two girls when we left. Hope all of the staff except the cleaner are on a good wage because they really were brilliant.
I have a gym membership here and have no complaints. Its not a huge fancy gym but it has all the things you need and more to get a great work out. Its a great deal for £24/month. The staff were helpful when signing up and there is always someone around to help.
The gym here is great. Never too busy and really helpful team always available. I have been having personal training for just over six months with Michael and he’s made me more fit than I’ve ever been before concentrating on technique to …
The pool has come on along in recent years, the much-needed refurb has made it a pleasure to visit – the changing rooms are as clean as you could possibly hope for in a public pool. They have also recently refurbed the kids’ soft play …
Awful place (I am just talking about the swimming pool arrangements as I have never been to the Gym). …
Nice and clean swimming pool but a little crowded. It has family changing rooms which is so useful with little children. Fairly priced.
Nice pool, but almost all the time a lot of people, need to pay attention to the children and separate them for a certain place. As they run and jump where they want, especially in that place where it’s deep. It seems that the best time is early in the morning or late in the evening. I think it will be easier when the school starts.
Soft play was small and rundown with no separate play area for smaller children. …
I’m a fan. Yes it can be busy at peak times (5:30pm – 7:30pm) and you will need to change your workout accordingly at the start of the week. But after these hours you will get a good workout in. This is more than just a gym as it offers …
I like it here. It’s not modern but it has a safe feel. There’s a smaller pool for swimming lessons and then the big pool which can get very busy but there’s plenty of space for little ones to splash about. I haven’t but I would consider coming here for adult only lane swim.
How can this organisation be so ill prepared?! Ticket lines are insane and understaffed. One person on til during half term?! Brilliantly played.. Soft play (music & movement) is ridiculous the way we have just lined up only to find out buying a ticket was to be done at a completely different part of the venue.
Been couple years since I last visited now have to book online, staff friendly, clean but the toilets weren’t reported this and soon dealt with, cafe upstairs very expensive.
Wonderful place which i have attended since i was a child however the hour time slot is not the one!!
It’s a shame you only have an hour slot .my daughter has three kids to get ready for swimming and an hour in the pool is not long enough and not worth the money .it’s quite expensive just for on hour . We have since gone to another pool that is well worth the money with no restrictions . It’s a greedy scheme
Despite having a full membership for a long time my severe disabled son was asked to pay to go to cafe. The manager was repeaditely picking on disabled child making him scared as membership team “forgot” to update system. When Ms Nausheen …
This place is crazy looking – but I liked it! It’s like a fake post-modern beach with a massive slope – really interesting interior design. It is very quiet in the morning and a reasonable price for a non-member swim, but the pool was almost too hot for me to swim properly.
