Absolutely awful council. They think it is ok for a 6year old to walk 45 minutes to school and then 45 minutes back everyday and in winter too. There are schools near my house that are 10 minutes walk some less and can’t accomodate an extra space for him although in catchment area. No care in the world for children.

MASSIVE POT HOLE on Bardon Road Coalville, Damaged my tyre cost me £100 for a replacement tyre and they would not pay out with all the evidence I have of the POT HOLE pictures and receipts absolutely diabolical. Absolutely terrible when dealing with children with special needs education and their parents . Son still not been to school for 18 months because they failed to provide him with a suitable school placement and he is supposed to be doing his GCSE’s! .

Cannot get any real help with school admissions problems.

I have dealt with the county council on a number of occasions and for a variety of reasons . Each time I have been very satisfied with the service given to me and have found the staff to be very helpful.

Service is rubbish

I can see why they only have two stars – 4 minutes of the phone ringing, then they hung up.
