Write a ReviewI had a 4 nights emergency stay on the Bostonion oncology ward. Is it difficult to describe how marvellous this place is.The Facilities are just amazing each patient has a Private room, it’s own bathroom with patio doors and a garden to …
shockingly bad service. wait times for basic tests are appallingly long, this surely cant be safe to have long delays for vital tests. nowhere near enough staff to care for the patients. if the patient cant feed themselves, then the food …
This place is an absolute nightmare, some of nurses are absolutely lovely and do an amazing job. Then you get the other spiteful ones, complaining about 3 people visiting a family member, a child and the parents, pretty sure it shouldn’t …
My husband was admitted through A&E and transferred to the Bostonian. Yes was a bit of a wait but staff were very good. The staff on the Bostonian were excellent, despite being very busy, they did everything they could to sort out his problems. They treated him with care, respect from the auxiliary staff to nurses and Drs
Attended A&E on Monday 30/3 and was triaged within 5 minutes even tho it was extremely busy by Nurse Frances and given treatment at the Royle eye department within a few hours. Excellent service and all staff very polite. Can’t praise Pilgrim hospital enough
BREAST UNIT :- I attended the the breast care unit. All of the staff there are so marvellous, I can’t praise them highly enough. They are all so very kind and caring from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. I felt the warmth of …
Was sent to the hospital by my Dr, short wait in A&E before triage and a short wait before treatment. The under pressure staff were fantastic. I cannot hold them in higher regard.
Not the worst experience I’ve ever had. But not best ever. Improvements could definitely be made. An NHS A.I would be very much appreciated. For a lot of questions the staff simply don’t have ancers for. I’ve lost count haw many times I’ve …
Terrible hospital. Whenever we go there it’s always waiting 2 hours for a doctor to say ‘nothing is wrong’ then coming back a week later and waiting 5 hours.
The hospital was built in the 70’s and it is looking very bad. Hoping it will be …
Very-well known blue building in borough of Boston. Good cafê area, friendly staff. All round great hospital with plenty of signs 👍 …
Pilgrim Hospital 🏥 was a flagship medical care centre who’s standards have slipped due to the immense pressure they are being put under by the amount of new people now living in the boston area. The government has to offer the Hospital 🏥 more funding and resources to be able to cope and offer a standard of excellence required. …
A&E were very good here today. We came in with out 15month old daughter and were out 1hr 40min later. Very friendly and helpful service.
Went to A&E Bank holiday Sunday expecting long waits and staff issues. We were there less than 1.5 hours in total and all the staff we saw with our little one were simply superb. Thank you.
Absolutely disgraceful pilgim hospital, last year had overdose made me wait with everyone in AnE while my eyes were rolling back in my head and heart was pumping fast , left me in a room with curtain, bleading out felt like i was going to …
After a spell in A&E this week I found myself in ACU with a heart problem. I’ve served 30yrs as a operating department practitioner, now retired, working in London and Norfolk, and I can honestly say I was taken aback at how clean the ward …
Well I have been visiting the pilgrim for nr 23 years. I’ve never seen the carpark in such poorly maintained condition. I have tripped several times. I also have to push my parents in wheelchairs.this is like being on a off road course. Shame on you Pilgrim for bad maintenance. SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Excellent service needed an xray on my knee seen quickly had x-ray and was sent home all within 2.5 hours
Just returned from appointment and examination in Urology and found the whole experience very good.
Slight delay in being seen but the care and service was excellent, fully informed about everything.
Recently had a planned section at pilgrim hospital and the care I received from all of the staff from ante natal, theatre and maternity departments was second to none. A much more positive experience than my first birth at a different hospital, and I can’t thank the staff enough.
We are in awe of the care my wife received from the Orthopaedic Consultants and the staff in the “Discharge Team” out of Boston Pilgrim, following a traumatic Hip Replacement. Their support in her recovery was 100% and the ongoing physiotherapy now means she is well on her way to recovery
My 81 year old nan has been here for over 2 weeks and has had money stolen from her purse!!! Absolutely disgusting sort this out!!! No excuses whatsoever for this behaviour 🤦♀️ …
I cannot thank the staff of ward 5B enough. They cared for my boyfriend through and through as he had a toe removed due to an infected foot ulcer. They were kind and courteous. I prefer this hospital to our location, Lincoln, as the layout …
Car park is absolutely appalling pot holes don’t come close to describing the cratered surface of this abomination. They then have the cheek to charge you for the privilege of having to dodge the gaping chasms!
It was necessary to visit A & E at 3am for myself, the care provided by the Doctor (Grace) was exceptional , the reception, nursing staff were all fantastic. the horrible part of the experience was listening to the loud constant moaning …
Had a bone density scan carried out this week by Elaine. She was most helpful, sympathetic and efficient

Sadly our experience of this hospital is really poor. My husband is on the geriatric ward and although the medical staff are competent they lack the personal touch that is needed especially with patients who are unable to help themselves …
I was referred to the Urgent Care Unit earlier this week and I don’t think I could have been treated any better or that the care and staff could have done any more than they did for me. They were well organised and friendly and informative …

I cannot give any stars. We are waiting for a call from a 75 year old neighbour who has been in your hospital since 5.30 this evening to be seen. She had a really bad leg, sent to you by her gp, has had bloods taken and chest X-ray and at …
My Grandad is currently in this hospital for a GI bleed and they seem more focused on making their own rules for his medication directions, changing medications when he has specialists for these and not treating what he came in for. And not …
Not one of the nicest hospitals, the a and e waiting room is far too small, the car park has a silly layout, the building could do with a new coat of paint very drab looking.
Staff i met on my stay were lovely. From catering & cleaners up to doctor Atif Rabia what a cheerful doctor Must forgot nurses marvellous. Not impressed when i got to my room find no table eating off my lap how dangerous especially with elderly patients they should buy a table penny pinche’s
Really slow service. Departments don’t seam to talk to each other or know what they are doing old equipment in rooms. And staff would rather keep the fans on a hot day to then selves even asking for one multiple times

It a decent hospital but needs to be revamped as there is a lot wrong with the building. Layout of the building is a problem. Lifts area always busy and crammed. Recommend not visiting at peak visiting times ie round lunchtime. The staff are normally great but they are overworked and underpaid for what they do.

Procedure carried out by Ms Khumar and staff was exemplary. Follow up care by staff in Royle eye centre was also without fault. Nothing but praise.
