Having broken my wrist in a skating accident I attended A&E. The quick and efficient care was second to none, the team were amazing. I had my follow up today at the fracture clinic and again the care was exemplary. Running ahead of schedule for my 9.40 appointment was re-plastered, re-xrayed and home within 90 minutes!

Absolutely shocking attitude by a member of staff in the Breast & Symptomatic RAS (triage). They lacked compassion and empathy when speaking on the phone and quite frankly if they’re unable to be sympathetic and speak to people with respect they shouldn’t be in the job. If I could give no stars I would!

Aim to arrive an extra 20-30 minutes early for your appointment. The queue for the car park takes that long and once you’re in the queue there’s no turning around.

Took my 3 year old daughter to a and e for the first time. Brilliant covid precautions and efficient staff. Dealt with in a very friendly, professional manner and went the extra mile to try to calm my three year old and put her at ease. Felt very confident we were receiving the best care possible.

I would like to thank the staff at the maternity unit for the safe delivery of my grandson in particular Hannah who delivered my grandson Riley and her quick response and actions of emergency neonatal team who kept us calm and informed at a very emotional time thanks at not enough.

My Mother has received outstanding care in A&E followed by a short stay on Twyford ward. All staff members from consultants to the refreshment assistant couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Added to that, the surroundings and cleanliness of the ward were commendable. Thank you!

There was no one on the desk in pathology. No one to help patients. I had a problem which necessitated me chasing around the hospital trying to sort out my own problem. This desk needs to be manned. Outpatients was almost empty, surely one of the receptionists there could have been allocated to pathology.

Slow!! Slow!! Slow!! Called 111 was told I should go to a+e. Waited for four hours before I was even initially seen. Druggies, convicts and old people came and went and I will as just sat waiting, all I needed was antibiotics to a infected wound. Absolute disgrace

Very old fashioned site but as per usual in the NHS it’s the staff that make this place amazing. Took care of a close relative and have witnessed such lovely lovely care . Parking confusing, no where for visitors to eat after 7pm . If anyone that has any power to increase the funding to this place reads this, please do !
