Went in for day surgery and I was so well looked after from going in to going home. All staff were caring, friendly and helpful. Anika was the name of the nurse who looked after me and she was very professional with a lovely nature, and explained everything to me with patience and understanding.

I had to return at 3pm for a CT scan to confirm this then have a boot fitted. By 4pm I was back home with follow up appointments. Thank you for the excellent service from start to finish.

Our experience of this ward was shocking. On the hospital’s website it sounds a nice place to go, the possibility of a family member bringing a well behaved pet in was no problem. The atmosphere is NOT like that at all. We got my mam out of there asap and we do hope other people will have other options too. A terrible ward.

Nurses on ward 6 absolutely brilliant. They are overworked & underpaid!! Main reception leaves a little to be desired!! Seems a little too much of an effort to be pleasant to callers.
