Write a ReviewStaff very polite and helpful.
Nice fresh and clean, lovely feel of a newly built hospital. …
Attended St Luke’s Urgent Care Centre today with concerns I may have sustained a hand fracture following a fall off my bike last week. I was seen by a Minor Injuries Nurse Specialist, examined, x-rayed, then reviewed again with the x-ray …
I attended the endoscopy unit for a gastroscopy. I was very nervous about both the procedure itself and what might be found. Without exception the whole team there were wonderful: the lovely welcoming lady on reception whose name I didn’t …
Endoscopy unit: I attended for a gastroscopy on Friday and all the staff were absolutely amazing. I was extremely anxious but the nurses (Vanessa, Donna and Kim) patience with me was infinate. They did everything possible to ensure I calmed …
Pointless hospital it says minor injuries but every time we’ve been there we get turned away without an appointment! You need to plan to have an accident so you can book prior, the old cottage hospital you could walk in & be seen usually within the hour. I honestly dont what they do here no suitable for the size of the town
Any time I’ve needed any type of minor injuries etc. No matter what time of day I’ve always been turned away. For various excuses when there is less than 3 people in the waiting room. Too busy. No time. It’s a waste of a treatment centre.
What a great place, I had a colonoscopy there on Friday. I was so nervous but the staff were wonderful, kind, caring and cheerful. The doctor and nurses looked after me very well. Thank you all (including Kim & Vanessa)
Drove to urgent care as baby needed seeing. Checked opening times stated 9am-7pm. Turned up and rang the buzzer on the door as instructed but no answer. A nurse walked past us and said they’re closed on weekends now. I think it’d perhaps be …
Their phone number still states that urgent care is available as a walk in. This is not the case and when notified of this the staff said this is not true. It’s very clearly the hospital number. Wasted journey.
Genuinely incredible service today, and not in a good way. I’ve had a pretty persistent cough for about a week/ten days and have been trying to get an appt unsuccessfully. Finally had a phone call yesterday for an appointment today, at …
If I could give less than 1 star I would.what is the point in having this facility and be told to ho to oakham or corby. Then to be told they are not open Sundays even though Internet states they are.
I attended the St Luke’s Endoscopy unit today for a Sigmoidoscopy. I really can’t praise this place highly enough, from beginning to end I was treated with professionalism and care. …
Checked online to see if they were open on sund, yes, 9to 7, so drove there from Brixworth. Everywhere looked closed, but after ringing bell multiple times door was opened. Receptionist said x Ray Dept was closed, and clinician off sick. …
Had an accident at work. My surgery referred me to Minor Injuries Unit in Market Harborough. I was very pleased with the service. Had an X ray done straight away and was waiting for the results. After 20 min lovely nurse told me what is …
I was referred by my dr to the walk in centre. Arrived and followed the signs for outpatients. It was in darkness and a sign said “ring the bell”- which I did – nothing. My daughter went downstairs to check we were in the right place- came …
Visited the XRay department. Lovely lady on reception directed me down the corridor to X Ray department and told me to ring bell. Within seconds of ringing the bell , I was told to take a seat and within 10 minutes I had my x Ray. All the staff were brilliant. A credit to the NHS.
Fantastic service!! Registered as temporary patient by receptionist who was great. Seen by a nurse in minor injuries extremely knowledgeable, very helpful. Couldn’t fault it, would recommend to anyone.
Nice easy and quick visit . lovely receptionist’s and nurse Kim
First visit to this hospital for a referral appt. Receptionists were beyond dismissive, trying to convince me I shouldn’t be there at all despite my explaining I’d been given an appointment and told to report to Reception. When they finally …
Couldn’t get through to doctors as they was closed for lunch, so went up to St lukes hoping they could see my daughter who had a procedure done a week ago and was told no they won’t see her and to go to corby walk in centre. This place is a absolute joke
I got an appointment here through Market Harborough medical centre as I don’t live in Harborough I needed to see someone urgently as I was in a lot of pain from having a water infection. The nurse I saw didn’t seem to want to be there and …
Endoscopy unit. We’re great all staff were very caring and put you at ease. Explained everything and answered question. Full marks.
I did write a review for ward 3 but has been removed! My father was an inpatient who should have been treated for palliative care as he was end stage of his life! Instead he was treated like a rehab patient! He passed away 3 days from …
St Lukes… where to begin..visited the urgent care centrre on sunday 21st July receptionist very helpful. waited 20 mins to be seen no pre booked appointment.was saw by a nurse didnt give her name to be told i had tendonitis in my foot and …
I came to St. Luke’s as my local GP surgery had no more emergency appointments.
I had a lot of pain in my toe and a faint red streak running from my toe up my foot. After a quick google, I suspected my foot was infected. I have a triathlon …
Turned up this evening with chest pains, asked Receptionist if I could see a Doctor, only to be told that she had some slots but I had to ring 111 to book one. Rang 111 eventually got through to a human who then said he couldn’t book me any …
Cannot recommend highly enough. So efficient, friendly staff. Attended with double leg injury – in, seen within 10 mins, X Rays, 10 mins until crutches etc and out the door.
Just visited here with a medical problem and service was pretty good from the doctors/nurses, although I have to say the front desk staff on both occasions were extremely rude and miserable. This second time I walked up to the desk and said …
Website and doors state open at weekends, which it isn’t. Admin staff might want to resolve this just in case anyone is turning up with something serious where time may matter its really not that hard to get websites and signs updated.
WARD THREE
We were not told the truth by the deputy sister, and my relative was offered the option of home or an institution. What he needed was palliative care. …
The nurses on the Stroke ward are the hardest, kindest, nicest nurses I have ever met. If the rest of the NHS was run like this and Lutterworth Health center then the UK would have the best health service in the world.
Spent four months on ward 1. Every single member of staff I met was kind, caring & professional. These people are not paid nearly enough.
St. Lukes is a tribute to our NHS.
I attended the St Luke’s Endoscopy unit today, I was extremely anxious and worried about the procedure, the staff were absolutely fantastic, I almost walked out with nerves but they were brilliant, I honestly can’t fault them, I would definitely visit St Lukes again for any treatment, thank you all so much 😊 …
Waste off time going here , came out with no antibiotics as they had to ring the doctors to see if my 4 year could have them and we had been there for nearly 2 and half hours .now need to try and get in the doctors ……absolute joke ! And only one person on working
Visited with my poorly son, exceptional service by nurse Rachel, very understanding and thorough examination. Can’t thank her enough, for piece of mind and re-assurance. THANKYOU.
The only hospital in England that doesn’t have a needle & thread to do a few stitches, lol
Awful treatment. My sister was struggling with her breathing and we waited over 2 hours to get called in. The receptionist were rude and unhelpful.
Really excellent Male Nurse/Practitioner examined me and gave me the necessary advice. ( just the help I needed out of hours)
Can’t praise him or the service received highly enough. Thank You.
Thank you for saving my mom’s life!
I have to say we have used the service twice in the past month and on both occasions we have been very pleased with what we received.
Not really fit for purpose- should have a proper A&E walk-in facility instead given the size of MH and surrounding villages. …
Pointless visit. Pointless service. Unsympathetic medical staff, no concern. Waiting for over half an hour to be examined to tell me there was nothing they would do for me and to see my GP tomorrow.
Poor just send people to A&E. What do you do all day? A&E rammed if you looked after minor injuries a&e would not be rammed. Shame on you
The care given by the nurse was good however walking into reception to be greeted by a dishevelled receptionist in a creased purple NHS top stuffing her face with crisps was not
Walk in centre
Clean, modern, efficient. Seen very quickly, staff were excellent. Felt reassured and happy with medical assessment.
Really nice here.. nice and clean. Only issue was the waiting time with an empty waiting room, and we had an appointment. Other than that nice hospital.
I didn’t see a doctor, they didn’t give me any medicine, they said I would lie at home and it would be better.
Website states it is open 9am to 7pm on weekends….. utter rubbish!
IVRs are needed for MS to perform CCSVI which won a gold award via Dr Zamboni .PLEASE HELP .
Went to urgent care centre on a bank holiday Monday and was seen by a nurse within 10 minutes!
Rachel and her colleague were both equally very professional and reassuring! Very impressed thankyou!
Husbands had a eye infection and the nurse we seen was lovely.
Been coming to see the endocrinologist since it opened and staff are always nice and helpful.
Treatment is quick and the staff have a friendly attitude and are always very helpful
Not a good cospital, went there one day didn’t do another to help my foot, and it still hurts.
Clean and modern building with kind, competent and friendly staff. Easy parking too.
Very good experience at this hospital in the minor injury ward. Fast and took care.
