Write a ReviewENDOSCOPY. I had an Endoscopy procedure today. The waiting time was a bit long and miscommunication between reception and doctors/nurses resulted in delays for the patient. The receptionist needs to adjust his attitude towards patient when …
ill.. had to go to emergency. Serious by the looks of it, got attended within 2 minutes. Impressed!! …
Very pleased with my experience of this hospital. I arrived in the morning, everything was clean and I was guided to where I needed to go by a nurse who was passing by. In the department where I was for my procedure, I met the receptionist …
The worst hospital by far. The reception staff have no empathy and they basically treat you as they don’t want you there. I was told by one of the receptionist that I am lucky that I am still in the waiting area after 6 hours of waiting at …
Just went to UTC GP at St.Helier. Waiting time was only an hour and the staff were nice and helpful. Moreover, Dr Richard was really kind and very professional. My GP couldn’t see me face to face and only telephone appointment for my terrible coughing for long. Thank you Dr and staffs at St.Helier.
I would not recommend. I had an awful experience with the A&E staff. I felt that she took advantage of me as a vulnerable patient as she was rude and dismissive and took no responsibility when I later made a complaint and lied. Which is an …
The place where no one can be bothered. Nurses do blood pressure and that’s it. They’re not interested in helping patients who need assistance with getting to the loo, they are not even interested in patients who have mobility issues. They …
This is a fabulous hospital with wonderful, kind, talented staff, particularly in the Eye Clinic and Orthopaedics. However, you don’t want to have to get a prescription in the hospital; the pharmacy seems understaffed with a team working …
If you want a hospital that will give you the service you require them please stay away from this hospital. The staff is horrible in terms of punctuality, discipline and biased to different customers. I waited for 12 hours to get symptoms …
Having been referred here by dr for x rays and blood tests i was not expecting the superb service i received. I had a bone scan booked at 10.15 was seen 15 min early, i had also been put in the xray queue so that as soon as bone acan was …
Nice hospital but patients don’t value the facilities here as it is underrated.
Mr P Thomas from the Vascular Surgery Clinic seemed more interested in personal information rather than caring for the patient. …
I fell in and went to A and E as it was a Sunday and doctors closed. It was crowded and I didnt know how I was going to be able to wait as I felt so bad. I saw nurse within minutes who checked me over and sent me straight through. It turned …
I booked an OOH GP appointment on the NHS website and was overwhelmed with how quick and efficient the service was. I completed the online form at 8am and got a call 15-20 mins later asking me to come in to St Helier at 11:20am! A striking …

Arrived early at 7.50am for blood test at 8.35am. Even though phlebotomists were free, the receptionist did not send me through… though she did fit in people who turned up without appointments. Even when my appointment time came, I still didn’t get called in, that is, not until she saw me leaving a 1 star Google review!
The service at the blood test unit is absolutely terrible. We waited for 30 minutes and our names finally came up 45 minutes later. The staff are absolutely useless when we asked them what is taking so long they said there’s a long queue. NHS is rubbish now, please sort this.
From reception to x ray department to A+ E department. Everyone in these departments including porters I asked for directions were helpful, friendly, warm and professional. …
Most efficient blood sampling experience I’ve ever had, pre booked a slot arrived on time, and from arrival to leaving I’d say it was maybe 3 minutes total. Staff all nice and respectful, did all the security checks before sticking the needle in me as well. Thoroughly impressed.
Visited the Eye clinic. Clean and tidy. Great staff who were very friendly, helpful and dedicated
Came through Emergency to Haematology and was treated with great sensitivity and professionalism throughout. From consultants downwards each member of staff took a personal interest in my personal needs and medical history, consulting my doctor’s regularly and following up on their advice immediately
Just have to give 5 stars after today. All the team that helped me today (though biggest shout out for this to my missus) were amazing. Very calm, very friendly and got me fixed up. …
What an incredible team right from the ambulance to the Intensive care unit – – two weeks care and can’t thank you enough for the care, love, professionalism, kindness and going beyond the call of duty. I now understand why the caring profession at all levels is “a calling”. Thank you 🙏 …
No stars is what this hospital deserves. My elderly father went to A&E and was there all night given antibiotics but no tests or investigations. Consultant Amir Hussain in majors asked us if the nurse knew anything, we explained that the …
The hospital not bad but the pharmacy is a disaster. I’m not sure is the unprofessional management or just the overloaded workers. I had to wait 3hour for an eye drop. And you have no chance to get from a different place only from this …

All my nervousness was cared for and I went away feeling very well looked after. Thankyou staff
Most of my experiences of being in this hospital have been good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of parking however it can be full at peak times. 20mins free parking.
Good service (once you get through the waitlist!)
This review is for Dr Rosheen in X-ray department. She and 2 nurses with her( laura and I dont remember name of other), they were extremely helpful and nice to me. 5 stars for them.

A huge sprawling mess of a hospital, almost no parking facilities and surrounded on all sides by a council estate that is residents parking only.
They’ve had 100 years to plant the odd tree in this area. But haven’t. Would benefit from demolition.
Day by day there services are getting horrible iam 12 weeks and started pain and bleeding and i was waiting in emergency for more than 2 hours and i was told that nurse will come in 2 more hours maybe they dont even care if someone gonna losses there baby
Very bad. I spend all day with my boyfriend on pain from a motorbike accident…. Take too long for them to take care. The emergency department is unbelievable. Very poor .
I arrived at the rapid assessment area just before midday, and I left at midnight, 12 hours waiting is not very rapid.
After going into labour 10 weeks early with my twins, the staff on the labour ward and the neonatal ward are absolutely amazing. The neonatal ward in particular makes me feel so reassured that my babies are getting the best care. All the …
Systematic planning, proper advice and direction. Using available resources effectively, kaizen. Patiently attending to gynecology matters. Thank you doctors, nurses and staff. Irrespective of being an expat, my family received equal medical attention in 2004.

Amazing care and support from the labor and maternity ward at St. Heliers hospital . We felt 100% confident at all times in the level of care, monitoring and advice they gave us over a 4 day window of the start of contractions to leaving …
I would not recommend this hospital because even if they don’t have the experience or proper equipment to cure a patient they still don’t transfer them to another hospital and play with the patients life because they don’t have the experience. This is the worst hospital I’ve ever seen.
Thank you to all the staff in Rapid assessment for looking after me 8/December. Thank you to ward A1 (AMU 2) 9/December. I had real breathing problems and they were all lovely to me start to finish

The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful. My nurse was amazing, she managed to get my bloods first time and pain free…which has never happened for me before, she’s new to the team but clearly a natural. Always such a great service here, today especially. Thanks everyone!
I gave birth in St Helier Hospital in 2019 and I was really worried after reading some really bad reviews on how the midwives are really rude and how you will be sent home as they don’t really wonna do their job. Well, I must tell you this …
Every time I visit the hospital I get very nice treatment from the staff members. I have visited for many different reasons to this day and no matter the department everyone is very nice. It’s a clean hospital, the restaurant is good with different catering options. Plenty of parking space! No complaints at all.
Was taken by Ambulance, got admitted straight away in 2 minutes. Had series of tests to investigate. Staff was lovely, respectful and attentive. I thank all A&E team for an efficient and prompt care. Excellent experience!
I visited A&E on the evening of 17/06/22 between approximately 10.00pm and 3.00am. I had a severe cornea abrasion and a laceration to my right eye, which caused temporary complete vision loss and excruciating pain. I am also pregnant with …

Terrible. We had the bad luck of being in children’s emergency department 3 times and it has been terrible. Our LG is 14 months old and ALWAYS has to wait at least 6h to be examined. Last time we came following the NHS website advice and it …

Worst hospital ever never got seen for a&e after 6 hours useless staff everywhere.
10+ hours it will take usually for you to be fully looked at and discharged, you will regret coming to A&E here.
Such a worst hospital. We had horrible experience with our antenatal care.
Terrible experience..came here for a blood test ..my notes were mixed up and after waiting for 2 hours sent back without a test .
