Write a ReviewI’m not surprised this hospital has been voted one of the worst… several recent incidents have all been horrendous from being left in a chair waiting to be taken to a ward in their ‘fit to sit’ area for 23 hours… to being admitted on …
My Dad was brought in by paramedics after suffering a fall in a car park and hitting his head on concrete. The staff in A&E were really great, from the reception, to nurses and doctors. Everyone was so positive, kind and doing their best. …
After finding myself in the unfortunate circumstances of being in a&e, seeing the GPs exhausted, the nurses understaffed and trying their best. I was glad I could be someone who smiled and thanked them for their time. It may have taken …
A 4 hr wait, only to be seen by a nurse, sent home and told its probably muscular, if it continues go see your GP. (If I could have seen my GP, I wouldn’t have gone to hospital!!!) …
Had 2 babies here. One in December 2020 and another one April 2023.
Both times had an elective cesarean section.
From the start till the end of our stay me and my baby were very well taken care …
Worst hospital we’ve ever been. Have been here several times over the past months because of ovarian cyst – being both in- and outpatient. Despite excruciating pain had to wait hours (!) before anything happened at all. Been sent home with …
8 hours in A and E! Not even offered any pain relief. The UK really has gone down the pan. 40 years of Tax and National Insurance payments for what??? I’ve been to hospitals in Slovenia and Bulgaria and the are light years ahead of the NHS.
Stellar service, Despite long wait times after a referral from Ashford Walk In the staff tended to my needs. And on past occasions after arriving via an ambulance a bed and recent check in was provided by the nurses. Staff are polite as can …
Arrived at 10pm after a failed minor surgery including a word catheter which was put in by a woman who was Googling where it goes. This came out the first time I urinated which of need with blood all over my bathroom and an open cyst. …
Came to A&E on Friday with chest pains..I was seen withing 20 minutes, admitted to C ward Clinical Care Unit where I spent 3 days receiving first class care from the most wonderful nurses and doctors including the lovely tea trolly ladies..Everyone was unfailingly cheerful and caring..Thank you. Martin Stevens
Came drop off a few supplies to my sister in the labour ward was buzzed into the ward, just as I’m about to enter the room with my wife, a nurse in the most aggressive way said ” where do you think your going” only 1 person is allowed to go …
There are pockets of brilliance in some pretty dark places, and St Peter’s Hospital has its fair share. The neurophysiology department provides a clinically excellent service and the administrative staff ensure continuity as well as a …
Myself and family have be experiencing a lot of visits to St Peters hospital visiting my mother in the last two weeks , she has been moved to different wards and has excellent treatment in all. The staff are so caring and Doctors have …
I spent 18 hours being treated in A&E yesterday. I was brought in by 2 great paramedics who were friendly, calming and really showed that their job is all about the patient. …
Very bad experience. A room full of sick people with windows closed, a&c off. Worse than cattle in a barn. I was there with my 6months daughter because she had difficulty breathing. They gave us nothing. After 5 hours doctor said it’s …
Worst hospital ever. Don’t care about your injuries or health. And most rude staff make you wanna leave and go home
Terrible hospital, staff really slow. The time it takes to call another patient after the previous ones leaves was a good 20 mins!!! UTC was a complete nightmare, after waiting 5 hours and being the last patient, was told at 12am that I …
Although I attended A&E on Saturday evening/Sunday morning and was on a bed in the corridor for over 10 hours the nurses and drs were all extremely caring and kind . Thank you so much everyone
Just spoke to Kylie, Prostate Self-Management Coordinator to arange a short notice blood test, absolutely brilliant, NHS at it’s very best, thank you very much, so efficient.
Lovely doctor I saw last night after waiting 8 hours which is of no fault to the hospital its down to gp not seeing there patients and everyone ending up in a&e .can’t fault the service last night was very helpful and the doctor could not of been any more helpful if he tryed just a shame the service is so over whelmed at the moment .
Horrible experience, you can die in waiting area and no one care about it, dirt is absolutely everywhere, toilets are just disqusting…
“doctors” without basic knowledge all what they know comes from google… Yes …
My personal experiences in recent years has sadly been extremely below expectations of what used to be hailed the nest health service in the world. The communication with patients, staff and other hospitals when needed is almost non …

I was visiting CHOBAHM on EASTER. Sunday when I had a medical emergency ,I visited ST Peters hospital I received the most amazing care by doctors and all staff ,THANK YOU so much for everything
Do not have your baby here – the nurses and hospital staff literally couldn’t care less about you and never answer their phones when you need to amend appointments or contact the hospital regarding anything. Switch to the royal Surrey hospital as soon as you can. Hopefully they all get a pay cut, useless!!!!
My missis went into labour during are stay iv left with a terrible flu and the after care was terrible don’t recommend at all never felt this I’ll in my life cheers at peters 🤢 can’t even open my eyes coz of the flu what a jokeeeee …
This place is an embarrassment for the UK. My partner went to the urgent care unit and after seeing someone they told us to wait for a referral so that we could assess his need for surgery. Fair enough- 2 months have passed and we called …
I had a colonoscopy today. It was lovely being treated by an amazing group of women. So grateful for the NHS!
Early Sunday morning visit, very quiet in and out within 20minutes. Free parking if under 20mins.
As always staff excellent.
We went to Pediatrics A&E and seen by Charlotte. Absolutely exceptional care. Bravo! Thank you
I have only had a HyCoSys and got a very good treatment (as attitude). All my thanks to Dr Allan Irvine and his assistant for explaining me absolutely every action! It was quick, professionally and very friendly. Going to a hospital it’s never fun, but it surely can be a less painfull experience when people around you are so nice!
The best hospital ever.
I went in because I had been neglected by my gp and failed consistently by another hospital. When I went in the doctors help me asap. I felt valued and listened …
This hospital is terrifyingly bad! No answer on phone calls and 0 communication between departments. This hospital will be the death of me!
I attended A&E on 19th May and joined a very busy Waiting Area. The processing of individuals was very very slow, and this was put down to a newly installed computer system. The operational staff and receptionists were under obvious and …
Thank you to Dr Emma Sepassi and the maxfax team. I’ve have had two impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr Sepassi. She was calm, reassuring and very skillful. I am grateful for my experience.
I am patient of anxiety and panic disorder. Many times my anxiety triggered and I ended up in A&E. I have to say no one feel joy to visit hospital but I had a very great experience with some of the A&E doctors. I am giving 5 stars just …
One of the worst hospitals around the area and experience, my wife went to A&E with suspected pneumonia, arriving at 9pm the nurse took bloods, done an ecg she then sat in the waiting room until 6 30am this morning without being seen by a …

I attended the AECU department on Saturday 11th June 2022 & was highly impressed by the Receptionists, Surgeon, Doctors & Nurses on duty. All staff were excellent & professional & gave me first class treatment ! They treated my seriously infected cyst on my back with upmost care. Thank you to you all ! Keep up the great work !!
Went redirected from the GP to get my 2 year old daughter’s throat checked for infection. Doctor said she cannot do it so go back home, without diagnostic nor treatment, wait 3 more days (after 3 days already) to see if the temperature goes …
I can’t praise the staff enough for the excellent care of my son. They were professional, knowledgeable and always took the time to explain anything important. Patients were listened to and treated with respect and relatives kept informed of developments.
Absolutely rubbish service. The phone rang 42 times before switchboard answered it. I asked for the stroke ward he put me through. The nurse who answered the phone was really rude I asked a question about my brother who is in the ward …
Went in after an accident at work with a deep cut on my leg, reception nurse sorted me out and put me in the waiting room comfortably. Vicky the lady who stitched me up was absolutely amazing, did the best stitches I have ever had and took care of me, cannot praise her enough, thanks to the whole team has well.
Had to wait for 8 hours in A&E just to be discharged. On a plain Tuesday. NHS is a real failure. They should sell to a private medical group.
Worst hospital I have ever seen in UK. My son was still born on the 5th of November 2021, due to St. Peter’s hospital negligence, by delaying delivery date by one week. When I couldn’t feel my sons movement , came to hospital I was sat for …
I don’t know why the negative. I came in with suspected stroke, luckily it wasn’t. but I got treated promptly. I thank the staff for the the best they could do for me. The NHS is well over stretched, non fault of the NHS OR THE STAFF, stop …
Absolutely disgusted is an understatement and if I could give 0 stars I really would… I was sat waiting 5 hours in the a&e waiting room and 2 hours just to be trearged. A nurse that had Finnished her shift at some point that day decided to …
Over the past week I’ve interacted with ambulance crew and staff in A&E and AECU and want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone I came into contact with. Swift diagnosis and treatment has led to my rapid improvement – no stone was left …
I got a phone call to book my appointment with physio. Since I work, hours suggested were quite inconvenient. I asked for a genuine advice what to do since I am not brittish and I do not know how the system works. The person on the other end got irritated and stated than everyone works (really?). Very unhelpful and rude
Great hospital with dedicated staff.
Went to A&E today with a broken large toe, expecting to be there for hours. In …
I had great experience with my both pregnancies and deliveries in the maternity unit of the hospital. The midwives were very caring and professional and all the wards were managed very well.
Absolutely dreadful place. My daughter was clearly very dehydrated but the Dr said it was just a bit. Said she’d need dioralyte but they were very low. Said they wouldn’t actually address the issue until they saw her vomit again (she’s 2 …
Where do I start?
A lot of people working here are truly fabulous, but there are some seriously …
Awful hospital. They openly admitted to having botched an operation on our relative and were very slow to react in rectifying their mistake. This resulted in our relative losing a few pints of blood during the further operations they …
This is the second child I have had born here and it is always a pleasurable experience. My partner is always well looked after. Being diabetic and needing extra attention nothing is too much for them and the children are always delivered safe and sound like an Amazon Prime parcel 👶🤩🥳 …
Considering the climate right now, I would like to show my appreciation to the hardworking nurses and doctors. Yes I had to wait a good few hours but given the circumstances, I understood. I was very distressed and scared but they reassured …
Ridiculous waiting time, no point paying so much taxes to get this service ..it’s spiralling down !
I have never seen such a pathetic emergency service in the country. We had son tripped and bleeding badly so had to visit last night via ambulance service. We checked in 6pm and waited till 5 hours to be seen by a nurse. There was only one …
I’ve been in a and e for 3 hours. In that time they’ve called 2 people. There are no chairs. Half the people are standing to wait. There are two babies just lying on the floor. There’s no communication from staff as to how much longer the …
I know they are short-staffed, but the treatment of my mum after a few operations was unprofessional. Before the operation, they got her weight wrong twice, luckily they didn’t anaesthetise her with the wrong dose. She was left bleeding …
90 minutes in and out of A&E on a busy weekday. Staff were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you St. Peter’s for looking after my friend with such care and compassion.
My awesome treatment at St Peter’s Hospital Urology department 16th Jul 2021 @ 0730 …
I took my son there e&a to get wrong diagnosis (3.5 months old). Luckily no harm but not because of them. The same time I had dental issues. My partner convinced me to see a doctor and ask some medication. I told multiple times I breastfeeding. Still I got medication what can harm my baby.
Brilliant treatment
Had the misfortune to have to visit A&E on Friday evening, despite the team being really busy with lots of patients, all of the team were friendly, helpful and …
Honestly, one of the best experiences of my life! I went to the birth centre and was treated by exceptional midwives and staff. Through my labour I had to go up to the labour ward and the doctors, the head midwife, anaesthesiologists, …
1 of the most useless hospitals I’ve ever come across. Staff at urgent treatment care + A&E were unhelpful. Wait times were ridiculous. Avoid this place!
After several weeks of worsening symptoms, I am glad I made the visit to St Peters A&E when I did. I couldn’t be more grateful to have been seen by Dr Sameer Khan who instantly recognised and pinpointed the cause of the illness. This was …
A disgrace to the hospital service! Ambulance staff treated my mother as though she was a 2nd rate citizen. Hospital staff have no basic understanding of how to CARE for a patient. The NHS is a stinking pile of waste, and you’re right at the bottom of it.
Went in with extreme pain in my leg after disc in my back popped. Couldn’t sit. Was left in waiting room for a good 10 minutes before being given a pain killer. Then waited another 5 minutes before being taken through to a bed. Given …
You know like every hospital in the country they are under extreme pressure and have done well, but I would love to have been at the meeting where it was decided to not allow anyone into A and E. 11 patients other half’s and friends in a …
We were visiting the area on holidays and my son had a medical issue. Off we went to a+enexpecting hours of wait. We were seen in the equivalent of a minor injuries unit and in and out within an hour. My son had painkillers and given antibiotics. Staff were friendly and helpful and put my son at ease.
Well organised but of course one still has to wait…the staff we met were polite and professional 👍🙏..was surprised that no medication (e.g. anti-inflamatory, pain killers) whatsoever was offered to my Father when he had a nasty tumble. We …
Appalling waiting times at the A&E. I’ve spent 7.5 hours with abdominal pains to get tested and still don’t have my blood results back. I spoke with someone whose cancer patient husband comes here daily for blood tests and waits 5 hours …
Nurses and midwifes are very nice and helpful I cannot fault them at all , unfortunately the doctors and consultants don’t seem to know their arse from their elbows, there is no communication between staff in particular the consultants . My …
Have to question level of care regarding my mothers stay. Nurses were very rude when I called for my mothers update and we’re not willing to answer any of my questions. I know the hospital was very overwhelmed just like every hospital in the country but there needs to be some sort of compassion especially when visiting was not allowed
Went to try and drop off some urgent supplies for my poorly baby nephew, what a palava trying to find the right place! One nurse I asked was SO rude, rolled her eyes and said something like ‘just go out it’s the next doors, now I need to …
Would like to thank all the fantastic staff at the Pit Stop area of the hospital. My 92 year old aunt had never been in an A&E department in her life, and was apprehensive of the experience following a fall at her home. She left several …
My baby girl was born in Abbey Wing last Saturday and I cannot thank all nurses, midwifes, doctors and ward staff for their amazing approach and assistance throughout the whole process. I was induced on Friday and after night full of …
Patients liaison or what ever fancy title they now use, fob you off to the people you’ve got a problem with. Even on a visit to a quiet a and e, they didn’t bother, just muttered a me, not proper explanation and no follow up. They don’t …
