I have been chasing my recycling waste collection for the last 8 months and every time they missed it. I have raised the formal complaint as well. I don’t understand the barriers to fix this simple issue. However, whenever I have spoken to someone they are friendly.

I find they never give support when really need it. I have put up with noise and nothing gets done, waiting for repairs is a nightmare. My daughter has reported scaffolding that has been outside her window for 2yrs and still there. Alot of the staff aren’t very nice, but if your lucky you get a really nice and helpful person.

I tried to contact Careline which is run by SBC. I was told I would have to wait 40 minutes on the phone . I couldn’t leave my number for them to contact me because “this is not a service we offer”.

Been trying to get a fence fixed for 3 years now. If you’re not going to fix it please stop pretending you are and putting us on some fictitious list. Like the nhs and police force, pointless.
The people are warm and friendly. SBC employees are there to help as much as possible, and we are dedicated to providing the highest level of service we can. If you have a problem call our out of hours service, where we will sort out the issue.

Someone was supposed to come out to fix a leaking overflow pipe, I was on the phone for over an hour to check that someone was coming out as I did not want to sit in all day and nobody turned up, gave up after sitting on the phone for over an hour
The worst council I’ve ever dealt with, from the top to the bottom. Talk about community, they don’t know the meaning of the word, no support, just hassle, simply rotten.
SBC asking leaseholders to stump up £13,500 for major works and repairs to their blocks of flats after years of neglect. We’ve had scaffolding up for 12 weeks with no work being done. Totally incompetent and immoral expecting leaseholders to pay for their negligence.

I have brought up huge issues with the council, such as noise, building permission, parking – and none of them have ever been resolved or even looked at. They are also disgraceful to work for, with priority over ‘connected’ people in the council. A terrible council for an awful town.

The website is ridiculous! I pay my rent and council tax online and half the time the website doesnt work and always seems to be down due to maintenance!
