Bin men, someone put one glass bottle in the wrong bin (passer bye) you had to put a sticker on it instead of removing it and putting it in the correct bin next to it. Pathetic jobsworth.
Absolute shambles. Contacted council via online form as phones don’t get answered , no reply for ages, no emails or letters, went on the websites only to see case have been closed. Closed how by just disregarding it?!You’re are literally funded by my and others hard earned money. Do your job at least!
Some are helpful others just ignore your concern if its not in job remit. Now I’m stuck with a problem!
I can only say that this bunch of comedians are not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.
No staff to help . The use of a phone or computer is available, but it repeated itself, and you have to hold on until it eventually gets through.needs staff.
Had to contact Street Naming department as wanted to add a house name to my address and I was clueless. Sue Harris @street naming was absolutely brilliant. Explained everything clearly and after filling a form which took me 2 minutes and paid the payment – Job done. Thank you for a fast and efficient service 🙂
The lady in the council tax department was very abrupt, couldn’t be bothered to let me finish my sentence and kept referring me online…if she had listened she would have known I had checked the website, couldn’t find the answer and wanted a person to reaffirm the details for me. Really unhelpful and I’ve still not got the answer.

The planning team were very helpful in getting a project completed. Waste management is excellent. Disappointed they have not made bigger efforts to retain Waitrose.
Office still shut. Phones dont even ring. Dont reply to emails.

Council tax increased by more than twice my state pension. Same for the last four years.
First time visit ,easy walk from Train station .
I found the staff very polite and helpful and as an older person was treated respectfully.
Literally no one answers the phone. Where is the staff team
Busy place, nice staff. Dated decor, but at least that shows they have been spending council tax with care
