Write a ReviewI would give these lot 0* if it was an option!! – I received a letter from Turning point (which no one told me about!!) advising that someone would call me for an assessment. No one called. I called them to advise them of this as I did not …
This service is terrible. I was receiving help over a year ago with only phone calls available. The woman stopped phoning me then sent me a letter saying I was taken off the records due to no contact! I recently tried again to refer myself …
Turning Point has provided a ‘lifeline’ of support to a close family member of mine over the past 6 months. They have provided regular meetings & support. If meetings have needed to be re-arranged they have communicated effectively. Above …
This place is so unprofessional. It’s frightening that desperate people have to rely on a service this poor.
Before lockdown I had my first appointment at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon in …
Never had the level of support I’ve have with Turning Point, first time for everything to help me knock alcohol on the head. Great support from Jarred in helping me towards my goal of detox and rehab. So motivated to achieve it this time around knowing he’s got my back.
Imo: This organisation is seriously lacking in effectiveness and goodwill. And has an excess of dishonesty and financial greed… I looked at the profiles of people who leave 5* reviews and they seem VERY suspect to me, almost as if they …
I can’t sing Turning points praises enough, from my initial referral I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better service than what they offer. I was so nervous about going there the first time but I was soon put at ease. I’ve had so much …
Absouloute joke! Where do I start with them! Got penalised because they said I wasnt engaging when they never called me when a telephone appt was booked! Then I went in for an appt with the prescriber, the girls on reception didnt know what …

No star review…
I have been waiting 2 months now waiting on someone to call me,
No body has called, I don’t like that this is the only service that I can go to …
Hardly ever answer the phone. Never get promised call backs. Tell u off for missing appointments that u were never told about. Reduces users medication without telling them. Got 1 star cos I had to give a star to comment. Really shouldn’t be called a support group, no communication
I just want to take the chance to say thank you for everyone at Turning Point who have helped me over the past year, Diane and Diloesh and everyone at the pre rehab team. I’m so excited about starting my life again and can’t wait to get started. Thank you
Amazing staff and peer mentors who work exceptionally hard to support thousands of people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to make changes to their drug and alcohol use every year. Rated as outstanding by CQC in 2019
If live long enough if anybody wants to know this is a terrible service and the man I spoke to didn’t help one bit spoke to me like i was a child and very condisending I’m not a child I’m a 35yr old man and probably know more about doing …
Dedicated and hard working staff and peer mentors who support service users on their recovery journey. Cannot fault the service delivery to the service users that are engaged with.
Trying to call Eldon street to make a quick enquiry about a group session they’re holding. Just left on hold for ages. Opted for call back option. No call back. What a dreadful service. Good job I wasn’t desperate.
Worst unprofessional organisation that I have ever had to deal with, ,untrustworthy so don’t ever tell them anything as the councillors will just hold it against you later on.these people are meant to be there to help, and keep you on the …
Turning point helps people to change their lives. Often the last hope for people with substance abuse problems and this service has proven to aid a great many.
Evasive, unhelpful and untrustworthy, they will go against The Orange Book Guidelines and an individuals express wishes to presumably paint a picture that they are meeting standards. Dr Andrew Ball you have a lot to answer for.
Diabolical service. Badly let down over and over again when I was at my worst and most venerable
Trying to get through to get a referral can never get through I used to be a mentor and I feel let down I just want to get treatment and start recovery were can I get that if they don’t even get back to you !!!!!
I came away from turning point with a bigger drug problem than I had when I started ,my GP helped me far more than turning point ever did .
