Council tax and benefits are beyond! Submit information no reply. Send you to court for money you don’t owe and then sends bailifs to bully vulnerable people. Shocking. Sean especially should be ashamed who works in council tax. Whole team letting down and stealing money then either ignoring or harassing people. Bullies!
This awesome place is so good you spend 30 mins pressing 1 for coffee 2 for tea and then you get through to a real person for them to tell you they cant help . The vale council employ people to sit behind a desk with a phone to tell people ‘cant help you sorry’ useless council !!!!

I have just made my 3rd visit over the last few days to the Sully recycling tip after having some work done at my flat. All the staff there (bar 1) were extremely helpful, especially Matt, when I visited today, who emptied my boot for me for. Many thanks to all the helpful staff there. Well done.

I waited 3 hours to be seen by Sabina in housing, for her to tell me with her grim and smug countenance that they could offer me a place for £600 plus a month – I couldn’t afford that. Have recently made 3 visits to Barry recycling centre and found the staff to be helpful cheerful and friendly.
Council Tax Processing has been appalling! Since buying a property in Barry a year ago I have made two written complaints, spent hrs on the phone, had a visit to my property and the bill is still not right. It is very stressful, not sure what to do next.

I can’t believe this place. One section doesn’t know what the other is doing, and the amount of duplicate letters they send asking for the same information is ridiculous! In 6 weeks we had 21 letters regarding council tax. Come on Vale of Glamorgan, get your act together!

Not difficult to see why Britain is so shockingly run. We complain about the likes of Germany and France, but have a look at their levels of service it is fantastic and efficient.
Eventually registered vulnerabilities to register for homelessness, after a long drawn discussion, was given a bed in the Tadross for one night, then no other contact with housing services. So left to fend for myself again, Thank you for the assistance. Shame the vulnerabilities are still there. Back to talking to shelter tomorrow.

Absolutely ridiculous they charge you more and more each month rent wise you miss one week they are on your back but leaving you over a year trying to get work done to your property, they have no clue what they are doing absolute time wasting fools!!!
The staff here have always been really helpful from benefit claiming checking forms have been correctly filled. Always pleasant and courteous.
My boyfriend have been here back and forth for 2 years as homeless and they have done jack had to go for private rent and they still offer us nothing
