Write a ReviewI’ve been here in A&E since 2am – a time given to me through 111. It’s now 9am. I wonder if someone will find my bleached bones in a month or so. …
Brought my 13 years old son to A&E after he fell at school and broke his arm. We’ve received a great care and were dealt with quite quickly. Just over 3 hours. The staff is lovely and hospital is clean. I would definitely come here again in an emergency.
Honestly don’t know where to start on how amazing Nina GILL and her student named Daisy were. Just astonishing. This is my second antenatal visit at the Slough maternity hub and as someone who is always a quite nervous individual, Nina knew …
It’s traumatic trying to talk to anyone at Wexham, I have continuously tried to call the ward with no answer, I finally got through today and the nurse hung up on me as there was a break in the line and she couldn’t hear me, I called back …
My son initials A.P. got admitted to a&e on Sunday night (Easter day). I would just like to thank all the staff for their great help. The doctor who took care of him was absolutely brilliant. Very caring and very thorough. I cannot fault them at all. To the doctor whose name I have forgotten. Thank you very much for your help.
A great thanks to the A&E staff, who took care of my 19 months son. He cracked his chin really badly. They cleaned the place and glued the wound. So sovely, friendly and helpful staff. Emergency department was very clean with comfortable facilities.
I took my husband there after a cycling accident. We were treated within 2 and a half hours. Every person who dealt with us was absolutely lovely and kind. Follow up call from fracture clinic within two days. Thank you for doing a good job in difficult circumstances.
For a hospital I have been born in to the state off this institute now is shocking. The staff use to be amazing and very friendly, going out of their way to help any issues you raised. Unfortunately now the state of the staff and hospital …
Is it just me? I’m finding that trying to get any sense out of Cardiology appointment booking service is like banging your head against a brick wall. They have booked me in for appointments I’ve already had, and when asked if I really need …
Extremely pathetic services. Emergency wait for kids is 5 hours. Rude staff at counters.
Very slow emergency staff. …
My mother was being treated in Frimley and done well 3 times. Soon as she reluctantly came to wexham, (after my dad dying there year before) she deteriorated, to never walk again, get a grade 4 bed sore, Have a picc-line done wrong to swell …
Overall, our experience at the hospital was mixed. We had some positive experiences, but we also waited more than three hours at times. The hospital had a bright and airy atmosphere.
I attended A&E with suspected appendicitis ( potentially life threatening and extremely painful) waited 5 hours to see a nurse, waited 4 more hours to see a Dr and waited 6 hours for surgical team to tell me I needed appendectomy. I …
Disappointed AGAIN about the way the patients are admitted and the delay in receiving the right care in order to undergo operation. I can only assume that the people responsible for preparing documents needed have not done their job. …
Attended day surgery 1. Nursing staff were amazing, especially the talented and caring lady who held the fort on her own. Registrar explained everything well. …
Due to a very unfortunate accident involving an enormous mirror as I was carrying it upstairs, I ended up on a blue lights ambulance to Wexham Park last Friday. I cannot fault our amazing NHS. From the moment the paramedics arrived at my …
When my mum was in a ward at wexham park hospital, we were told to expect the worse as she had pneumonia. One afternoon I went into visit her and she was in a side room where a nurse had their arms wrapped around her, comforting her, it was such a touching moment ,there are some brilliant nurses in NHS!
Reading the reviews and people’s comments, and judging from my own experience today, I am coming to the conclusion that not this A&E is the problem, but 111 and entitled patients are. I am on BP medication, and yet my BP was 172/120 this …
Mum went through A and E here about 12 days ago and it was about 9 hour wait. A few months previously she had been at A and E in Plymouth which was a 23 hour wait do beggars can’t be choosers. …
I was very impressed with how organised and how friendly the staff was when I brought my son into A &E who was suffering chest pain. He was dealt with swiftly and professionally. Lucas one of the drs was fantastic. I couldn’t fault the service we received today. Thank you very much .
I am a support worker and one of my ladies was admitted. I would like to apologise to the ambulance crew and A and E first for 1 star you deserved 5. But when going on to ward 5 they are appalling. When i asked a nurse to help take my lady …
Aweful embarrassing n depressive waiting I have been referred to fertility clinic in 2020 but haven’t heard anything yet from the gynaecologist or any single member of the department yet. It’s been quite exhausting for me having painic …
Waited 7 hours before being seen for post concussion syndrome. Waited nearly two hours for CT, apparently forgot I was waiting and Dr reminded staff I needed CT. Can’t do anything for persistent headache and gave me morphine while there and one hour later I was sent home with cocodamol.
This must be the worst hospital in the Country, my brother was admitted into ICU three weeks ago with a kidney problem , we was told twice he has no chance of recovery we should let him go peacefully as he will need dialysis three times a …
I would give ZERO stars, but Google does’t allow me to do it.
Been trying to call in order to get a copy of my Xray image(s) (not the written results but images themselves)… …
Non experienced staff and doctors who most definitely got their PhD’s via Online Course.
Doctors/Nurses have no drive to help patients and no clue on how to identify …
A personal thanks to all staff manning wards 10 & 8 who made my 13 day comfortable.
Very professional and appreciated. Thankyou
Cannot fault the way they have helped my mother with a broken hip. Wonderful A and E, a fast operation and wonderful nursing and physio care
Absolutely amazing Nurses and doctors , everyone is very nice and very helpful . Should not be any lover then 5 star in shame that people are doing that .
Thank you NHS. And Wexham hospital staff (for everyone for the them being amazing ) .
Staff rude inattentive slow they lack basic communication skills no care or knowledge flies everywhere rubbish everywhere literally the most disgusting hospital I’ve been to in the uk….. if I’d have known coming here would be this I’d rather have stayed at home and risked sepsis
I have a heightened respect for all those working in hospital. My experience here was made so much easier by the fantastic staff who work so hard and are a credit to the NHS. I’m so grateful to have been treated by everyone involved.
My 95 year old mother went to A&E and had to wait over 5 hours to see a consultant and the quality of care was really poor. I am not blaming staff but something at Wexham and Frimley needs to change. Perhaps it’s about time the Chief Executive of this Trust took some personal responsibility and stepped down from his post.
I am here in weham hospital from past 2 days for my treatment ,,,it’s a nice hospital staff is caring but I am shocked with the quality of the food served to the patients it’s literally inadible ,,I was here 3 years ago too at that time it was fine don’t know what happened now may be funding cut is the cause ,,
The nurses and staff in ward 9 trauma and Orthopaedic have been outstandingly kind and caring to my elderly mum over the last 12 days.
Obviously, with all multi bed bays, the noise can be difficult to sleep through but that was caused by other patients.
Extremely disappointed by this hospital. The Waiting time was 9 hours be seen by a doctor, what an absolute joke. My family member went into A&E around about 9pm yesterday and left early hours 5.30am… she was unable to wait any longer to be …
My partner was bought in by ambulance (.thank you amazing paramedics) could have been really bad just want to say thank you to everyone who helped us you are under so much pressure but when it counts you do a fantastic job
Wexham a&e is atrociously bad, the waiting times are horrendous. In 2020 I waited 3 hours with terrible mastitis and I was in absolute agony and needed antibiotics asap. I got seen by a male doctor who told me that he refused to give me …
Very long wait in A&E. Then incomplete blood tests and nobody told me that I was referred to ambulatory care unit. I had to stop and ask a dr and only then then knew and went there, again for a long wait and then greeted by a junior Dr. The …
Just gave birth here on Friday. Was an overall good experience. The midwives (Beauty and Samantha) I had were wonderful and really made up for the rest of the hiccups in the hospital. The hospital was extremely understaffed. I was …
A&E, been there with my 10 years old daughter, we were out of there in less than 2 hours. Really impressed with the staff..
*the lady from reception was really nice, friendly and polite. …
I had a appointment at Wexham Park Hospital this morning, so thought I’d try their customer cafe there. Well on appearance it was dishevelled, and not very clean within seating table area. Then as I ordered a bacon roll and tea , I noticed …
Would like to thank the ibd nurses for blatantly ignoring me, I’ve been having a flare up for a month due to their incompetence. My gp had to inform me of my blood test results as the nurses simply couldn’t be bothered to get back to me …
Although waiting time is a little long (to be expected in a&e). Very impressed with the level of care when seen by both doctors and nurses. Thank you
I had to have a check up on a previous operation for my heart the nurse and all I saw were great ward 4 old A and E my main nurse was a tall guy he explained everything to me the surgeon who did the operation was also very good The whole team I am very grateful 🙏. …

Very nice caring hardworking staff specially Amine Sadaud friendly jully
Caring looking after patents try to make them happy so they can forget there
Amazing staff, from the security man who has helped me twice with my mum. A&E Docters and nurses were amazing. Eden ward staff were so lovely.
It was a very good experience in the Phlebotomy department but we got confused with the gates. As this particular department was through the main entrance (gate 1).
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Go to Camberly Frimley or Guildford if you can. 12 hours wait at emergency, rushed 2 mins ultrasound, had to go to another emergency 3 days later where there were proper testing. Lots of people at Wexham are there with …
Personally love this hospital, having been here quite a few times for myself or children I have always left satisfied with the service. Drs are always nice, caring and try their best to help. If you’ve ever been to ealing hospital a&e you will realise how great this place is compared to other hospitals.
Does anyone really work here?
I called the Pathology department every week since end of March and no one is picking up!!! …

Brilliant staff in all areas, food is ok too
After falling off my bike and breaking 8 bones I have to say all the way from the Ambulance crew to trauma team, ward nurses, doctors, ward cleaners and the lovely lady who bought round tea and toast in the morning…we’re absolutely …
A&E: I had to wait for a very long time until they sent me to X ray, because they HAVEN’T BELIEVE I broke my bone. Many A&E patients came after me have been treated before me. First they just let me in severe pain for a very long time, …
Was seen immediately and scans were taken very quickly for Costochondritis
I was rushed in by ambulance as I had a perforated appendix. The staff were amazing they helped me on my recovery ❤️🩹 I was admitted for 12 days as had a secondary infection. They were fast to treat that, the staff could not do enough for …
Used the A&E service today: from arrival to inspection and out the door took about one hour. Staff are friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend.
I’m torn writing this because some of the experience we had here was positive, but it was really impacted by a particularly negative experience on our last visit. …
My wife had a severe knee injury and was brought to the Wrexham park hospital by an ambulance. X-ray was taken at 09:30 and now it’s 06:00 am in the morning, we are still waiting to see the doctor . What a shame . Terrible no words to …
Bad overall, doctors don’t care and they try to dismiss you as quick as they can and they are clueless. At this point nurses do the doctors job better.
Outstanding care from hard working, professional, kind staff after emergency arrival in A and E, orthopedics, surgeries.
Presented to A&E recently and was admitted after triage process. Spent a few days in Ward 17, where the entire staff couldn’t have been better. …
Visited this hospital with my sister who was advised to go to Wexham A&E as she was bleeding from her head. She was told the wait would be 2 hours max and we reached there for 10pm just to wait there until 9:30am for her to be seen. During …
So many people moaning about this place, a&e are rammed everyday.
When I was admitted I was seen immediately due to my condition rapidly worsening, a lot of people moaning in a&e had incredibly minor injuries some in my …
I was admitted to Wexham Park hospital on 5 June for four weeks and transferred to Royal Free hospital. I must congratulate the Wexham for having so caring and professional staffs from cleaners, kitchen, nurses, staff nurses, doctors and …
Quite simply an awful experience from start to finish. My partner is a type 1 diabetic and has developed excruciating tooth/gum pain, likely an abscess/infection. Called 111 who said he needs to go to A&E. they made an appointment for half …
Went to A&E due to a miscarriage.. the staff who attended to me updated the whole room (A&E) of my situation where other patients could clearly hear. No privacy or confidentiality and all staff lacked empathy and care towards myself. I know hospitals are busy and undergo a lot of stress but I will never be going to this hospital again.
Wexham park A&E is a trauma in itself. Wait times to see a pediatrician is minimum of 5 hours if you are lucky. It can take up to 7 hours or more. Absolutely horrendous level of service. They messed up my wife’s c section too. The …
After a 45-minute drive here for Sleep Respiratory Appt booked beginning June 5 months ago, they’ve cancelled the appointment today because the clinician is now on holiday and nobody thought to tell me…. They are posting the new appt …
I’ve just spent 2 days in the hospital and cannot speak highly enough about the staff. Everyone from the security through to the surgical team were fantastic and attentive. The nurses were beyond kind and helpful. The only negative point I …
Nurse Emma is very rude and uncooperative lady. I didn’t get my some medication after discharge even waiting for medication for more than 3 hours and she was not listening finally pharmacy got closed and nurse Chris came and she sorted out she is great lady. I would give her all five stars.
Long wait time/needs to be better managed/rude, uncompassion staff.
Was sent by my GP to a&e for an xray of my foot. All reception staff seemed annoyed/bored from the get go. Handed me a wrist band and told to sit down. After …
Been recently with my children and Dr’s and Nurses were friendly. For myself, 111 time slot booked. 8 hour wait.
If you were promised to have an appointment here, clean up your calendar in somewhere about 4-5 month, not sooner. If you had your appointment and during it referral to another doctor was promised, just forget abut it. 1 star and I only because there is no option to rate with 0.
This is the Jekyll and Hyde of all hospitals, you will find the worst and the very best medical care all under one roof. The incompetent doctor in resus very nearly killed my elderly mother with his total lack of interest in the patients he …
On 22/12 I arrived around 8.00am with a dislocated shoulder. The nurses were kind and competent throughout. The doctor who superbly manipulated my shoulder back in place has all my praise and I thank her. I also thank the paramedics for their initial treatment and expertise.
My experience with A&E department:
Arrived before 5pm with my 7yo daughter after being referred by GP. Was leaving …

Everyone from ghe paramedics, nurse and doctor were absolutely lovely to my mum. She had a bit of a wait but that is to be expected on a Friday night! Despite how busy it was, they were very thorough.
