Write a ReviewThe Duty free London customer service was really excellent where one of the manager named Diogo Xavier Rodrigues has really helped me through the reservations process for my Alcohol and Perfumes which I had reserved online and he made the …
World duty free is a small duty free shop at terminal 2 departure of Heathrow airport London. There is a small selection of liquors available, but miniatures are not available here. Given the fact that many of the passengers get a lot of free time at the departure gates, this should have been more extensive.
All the staff members are friendly, let us try different samples before we got the Glendevron 20 yrs old. Great prices too
Fantastic place to shop, especially if you love alcohol, perfumes and chocolates. Reasonable rates compared to high street. Well presented store with colleagues available to help you make choices.
A really bad duty free experience. The selection is very unreliable, with an excess of “airport exclusive” alcohols but often none of the mainstream brands. The customer service is also terrible, with pointless self-service checkout kiosks …
Thought of buying a pair of earphones in “inMotion”. Cost was higher than what I found in hight street and on the manufacture web page.(BOSE). Asked for a small reduction, they would not even consider. Left htem with the merchandise
What can I say about terminal 2 except that it is an unexciting place to spend hours waiting for ones flight. The designer shops are boring and the selection of goods are limited. I was hoping that WDF would carry Longchamps but no…
I doubt I will use terminal 2 again in the near future
Shame. As the stock level was very low. Usually buy the limited edition perfume from the airport. This time they had nothing left.
Fabulous layout , right next to the airline service decks . Close to gates A16-A20.
Can only speak to the range and price of the whiskeys but it was overpriced. Staff really need training. 20 year old doing whiskey tastings tried to use it being from Scotland as a selling point… really, do go on. Checkout staff were …
Very large taxfree shop situated in terminal 2. Great selection of alcohol and perfume. The sweets selection could be better in my opinion but don’t worry, there’s no risk you’ll have to leave empty-handed. 😂 The self-checkout could be improved though. Always needs intervention from the staff for any random reason. …
Lots of selection. Great sale prices. Quick check out.
Thought I had found some deals at the duty free shop, only to be told by the cashier behind the checkout counter that certain price of the merchant applies only to passenger travelling to certain zones of the world. Then I was educated …
Poor range of products. Nothing beyond what you would find in a high street Boots. Jo Malone is the only “luxury” brand on offer. Far less than what you’d expect from a Heathrow terminal. More selection even at regional airports.
Racist Old Pakistani guy at the counter. Misleading prices on display. Very rude persons. No wonder this particular outlet has no customers. After testing the perfume, the old guy will give you dirty looks and rearrange bottles as if you are a thief. Always yelling and snapping at customers. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
The prices are generally good but brush up your cashier training before you self checkout otherwise you will get a lecture on not scanning the right boarding card to get your goods packed for flights with transit stops. Whoever designed the …
It’s the largest shopping surface in terminal 2 departures area. Perfumes, chocolate, alcohol… but honestly, tax or no tax, most prices weren’t realistic. It was really hard to find a gift to buy without feeling I am paying double price …
Very best layouts on this Duty free! Easy to pick gifts for your loved one..
This place is usually very busy with customers, but unfortunately at the moment due to the situation created by Covid 19, the airport is not so busy, only a few flights a day. A good place to shop at the last minute before taking the flight.
If you’re in a rush avoid if you can.
A little too keen staff, but great if you are looking for advice or inspiration. …
it has fallen more recently. staff used to be more attentive and helpfull, now they don’t want to know you. except the Dior guy he was awesome.
The Duty free had a nice Selection, of items to buy it was just a bit Confusing about Where to pay for my items and I didn’t get the online discount for my Items.
Great service from friendly and humorous staff.
They had a lot of promotions available, and luckily they were all what I was looking for. …
Because it’s all self checkout there is no means and nobody to seal up shopping bags, so I have just had eighty pounds’ worth of shopping confiscated at Singapore.
Perfumes are excellent. If you’re here and you love your whiskies you will not be disappointed. The whiskey section here is brilliant and they’ve got a HUGEEEEE collection of them. Definitely not your average duty free section. This one’s one of its kind
Does not provide tobacco products for Australian travellers, 200’s only sold. Buy on the High Street before getting to airport.
I bought an item from London Heathrow duty free, they sealed it, in Vancouver BC airport they didn’t allow me to bring it in, so frustrated
The perfume smells in this place are overwhelming. It was difficult to look at everything. The selection of items was pretty good. The only issue we had was that they seal up your alcohol together in a bag and it must remain like that until …
The female cashier that I met has very bad customer service. Her facial expression was so rude when I didn’t understand how to pay by debit card. Without explaining me clearly or offering help, she kept saying in an insulting manner that if I do mistake again, I will be denied from using the card.
Duty free is always part of the fun travelling but be careful and always check online for better deals. Purfumes everywhere as you walk in, the clerks always come over to ask if you need help but can be frustrating. Cigarettes are not worth buying here.
Big well stocked duty free, polite and friendly staff very helpful.
As a native Chinese, I am outraged by the way World Duty Free discriminated against Chinese early February 2018: Chinese people were told to have to spend a minimum of £1000 to receive 20% off while non Chinese only need to spend a fraction …
Good selection of products but very very pricey. I can find the same products almost everywhere else for the same price or cheaper. SO if you find something unique, go ahead but if it is a product available anywhere else in your travels, don’t buy it here.
Pros: impressive selection of whiskeys. Cons: a member of staff hovering over my shoulder while I browse, pointing out the “for all passengers to all destinations” label three times, asking if I’m sure I’m old enough to buy alcohol, and …
Sales people in these stores discriminate customers based on their races and lie to travelers about the liquid product policy in the airport. These sales people make Chinese pay $1,000 for a voucher while others customers can get the …
racist you need to apologize to all Chinese customers in both Chinese and English on all your social media accounts about this scheme otherwise no more shopping here. You will see how wrong you are🙂 …
Prices are cheap but not all products, sainsbury and Tesco offers are good comparatively this one , buy and keep stock in offer period is good comparatively this one
Why do you guys not accept cash as yet, I could not make any purchase at your stores due to this and to top it all the staff is also rude. When other stores at the airport are accepting cash what makes you different, I understand it’s Covid19 situation but so is it for everyone around.
Expensive, no good selection, intrusive staff
Amazing staff. Such a shame that all the makeup consultants are no longer available. I would have spent a few £100 if one was there to help.
Super arrogant sales associate at Jo Malone boutique. They also give the VIP voucher based on customers race. Such a racist duty free shop. Too bad I can’t give a 0 star review.
Shame on you! You must show fair respect to everyone ,correct your mistakes and apologize publicly in all social medias to China or you would never get one penny from Chinese!!!
Website straight forward to use and good discount. Staff are friendly
Shame on you about what you did to Chinese customers!!The most racist shop in the world! You must apologise to Chinese customer directly and sincerely !!
Wow was really happy with my purchase didn’t have enough time to browse around
Are you serious? Please use proper crisis management instead of your “no apology, no comment” policy. Chinese buyers earn you huge commission and look what have you done.
Items are more expensive tham on the high street unless you are buying spirits apparently very rude to Chinese guests
😛 Extraordinary customer service on “how to discriminate Chinese customers”, happy new year 🙂
Terrible and horribly racist. If you’re a decent human being, then steer clear of this shop.
The workers are well manner and very helpful
Staff no interested in serving anyone.
Other than Cigarette room very helpful
Don’t waste your money as duty free is no longer duty free.
I paid £500 to get a 22% off voucher when non-Chinese only have to spend £79!!!!! No silly money any more!!!!
Liquor prices are increased now .. pre- covid rates are no more available ..
Shop anywhere else can get better price and customer services.
I can’t give 0 star, 1 star is high for this shopping center! …
So much choice good offers and fast service
Reasonable prices and friendly staff and free gift
Doesn’t have much items specially chocolates..
Duty free at other terminals are far better
Too bad I can’t give a zero star review! Shop anywhere else and you’ll find better prices and better customer service, guaranteed!!!!!!!!
Racist business never deserve a star, would just give 0 if I have the option. Chinese people need to spend over £1000 to get your discount voucher while other people only need to spend £70 or get one? Such discrimination cannot be tolerated.
Well, can you further explain what is your discount policy before and now? You claimed that the discount would be same in the future. I am wondering what you do for ppl who were not able to enjoy the discount due to the unfair policy? …
Swamped by overly eager sales assistants at every turn. So annoying I walked out without buying anything
This store discriminate Chinese customers by cheating them into paying more. People from other countries can spend 75 Pounds to get a VIP Voucher while “Because she’s Chinese, she has to spend 1,000 Pounds”. A Chinese staff there might have lost her/his job by standing up to us.
Expensive (rip-off level) and no clue about customer service. Lazy staff.
There is no tax free here.
Fantastic variety of perfume and other cosmetics for good price
Everything you want yo buy for your love 💘 ones is here …
Like most duty free too expensive only good for cigarettes and even they are cheaper in other duty free airports
Apology is needed for your racial discrimination for Chinese customers, what you did seriously breaks my good image for Heathrow.
You shouldn’t fool Chinese.
Covid prevention restrictions in place but you can get most of what you need
Sorry, no photo…
My recommendation is “made in British”, so “KITCUT” England version, McVities’s Cookies, Scottish Butter Shortbread are very very nice. …
Foreigners spend 79 pounds to receive coupons, Chinese will cost 1000? For what?
for the most part the customer service there was excellent, however, the perfumes i bought there are so diluted! i bought large bottles of Dior J’Adore, Mugler Alien and Givenchy Very Irresistible EDP and they do NOT smell like the ones i …
Can not believe the whiskey prices… cheaper to buy in the London market
This is a raciest duty free. They will give you a VIP vocher for 20% off if you spend more than 250 pounds + IF YOU ARE NOT CHINESE! If you are white, you might get a vocher when you spend more than £79!!IF YOU ARE CHINESE, YOU NEED SPEND …
Easy but some things were cheaper on high street
Greatest variety possible.. always get what I need
Hahaha duty free prices me rear end😂😂 …
Heathrow World Duty free discriminate Chinese customers. It’s a racist
racial discrimination!!
you need to apologize to Chinese Customers.
