Write a ReviewI will try to avoid this place if I can. Very busy all the time, Tesco has also gone downhill in terms of value for money. On the plus side they do evri returns that are efficient and the kiosk staff are very nice.
It’s diddy Tesco!
If Tesco did one stop, this is it. …
Tesco are partner and work together with EVRI. Without announcing to tesco customers tesco workers always shuts EVRI label machine and not accepting parcel. …
Not as good as the LIDL. Prices aren’t as great, and the staff aren’t as friendly. Other than that it’s perfectly serviceable.
It’s part of the Tesco chain, but the prices can be higher than the bigger outlets.
If it was only a few pence, not much of a problem, but when increased by sometimes more than £1 > £2.50 I find it extortionate!!!
Only 2 flavours of porridge. Where’s my apple and blueberries???1!!1
Staff virtually nonexistent. Often very, very busy and poorly stocked as well. A lot of the fresh produce and products have very close expiry dates to the time of purchase so beware and choose carefully to not buy something that will just go off the next day.
Good choice of products for an Express.
But the staff! …
Everyone working here is always so helpful and smiling, no matter how busy it can get! (And trust me, it can get hectic here!) Especially Tia! 😁😊 …
Shopped here regularly when I lived in bristol city centre a few years back. Went in while visiting a few days ago and noticed the gate on entrance. Soon enough realised when trying to leave through it empty handed (and be denied by the …
Today, the salesperson where is tobaco. didnt sale for me.salesworker told me that I have a lot of goods. Although I had three goods on hand and my son had 3 goods, not served me and sent us to the checkout, where there was a very long …
Went here this evening at 22:45. There is this special Ben jerry deal and goodfella pizza. Buy each one of your choice and its only £5. The older man who seemed the manager said it was only possible for Ben jerry Brownie. However on the …
Not a fan of this store. It’s the kind of place you stop by only for a quick buy. There are many weird people around it, and shoplifters have no problem stealing items and just walking outside like nobody’s business. Also, workers usually chat with each other and don’t help customers.
Went there and there were Asda Products so I assumed they were free and this women proceeded to give her toddler to me and it peed on me. I went to the bathroom in fear of my life and saw a tampon filled with pee. I got so scared my grandma …
Okay for picking up essentials you may have missed
I feel like I’m in this Tesco every day, but I’m not complaining. It’s amazing. Has a great choice of everything and a bunch of 8 bananas for under £1! What a bargain
Very convenient and well stocked
Good choice considering it’s express it has everything you need, it’s clean as well. Only been here once so far so can’t say much more.
Friendly staff. Good quality of food except bread and fruits – you need to eat them in next 2 days. After that I could only throw it to the trash bin. Sometimes I have a problem with buying chicken breasts.
A much better meal deal selection than Sainsbury’s have to offer and the bottled beer is cheeper also.
A good range and variety of produce, my goto store on my to or from work. Never …
I like this store, produce is good and prices as well, I go there every day, but recently they started using air refresheners in the store and the aroma is HORRIBLE, I cannot stand that smell, it stinks, please stop using them , they make me sick, it is hard to breathe!!!!! It was better without them.
Disgusting experience this morning where at the self service till I had the typical “unknown item in bagging area” to which a young woman came to help me but as I looked away she took the opportunity to commit a stone cold stunner on me, …
I know this is a tesco but really I use it everyday the staff are so helpful and friendly I’m partially sighted and they never hesitate to offer any assistance I may need some of the checkout girls know me by name all always stop and say hi when they see me in store its the little things that make this my number one choice for shopping
Dunno what others are on about here, I’ve never had any problem with staff, they generally have all the essentials well-stocked and they have queues, because it’s a central store in a busy city, literally nothing they can do about that.
I’d like to compliment one of your employees Elizabeth for the excellent service she provided me and sorted out problem also helped me with SSE top up on multiple occasions with Can do attitude, being positive and very helpful, really appreciate superior customer service.
Staff were the most horrible people i’v ever had encounter at a shop. I went to pay at the checkout where 2 people usually are behind the tobacco counter, and had 6 items. The lady serving me was alright and said “i’ll let you off this time …
This is the 3rd time in a role i brought a bottle of drink which is opened. To be fair, it’s not their fault, and i should check it before i left. But the shop really need to do something about it.
Serious lack of loose vegetables, NOT in uneccesary packaging ie. Onions now you are forced to buy a pack of 3 in a net packaging which is just ridiculous. I don’t think its fair to limit buying loose vegetables. Selection is in general pretty limited compared to a larger tesco, prices are sometimes higher here.
Nice selection and determined staff but always queues at rush hour. Some of the checkout staff are a bit distant/aloof, but most are awesome!
Very nice store great location good range of products can get very busy after noon staff friendly Jay the security guard knowledgeable. Darren helpful and awo on checkout
Great for getting shopping whilst at work. Could maybe do with some more security staff? Given the location, shoplifters and aggressive ‘customers’ can be a problem.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Tesco mobile linked to express closes at least 20 minutes early so don’t bother going if you’re tight on time
Largest Tesco in central Bristol. A wide range of goods at relatively low prices.
Don’t forget to get a Clubcard app on your phone – it’s convenient and makes prices even lower!
Decent Tesco. Avoid between 12 and 14 as it’s utterly packed. Very good queue management tbh. Good prices not the typical massive uplift for local stores imo.
Self checkout attendant too busy chatting, watched a lady shoplifting in front of him. 18:30 02/04
I’ve been traveling around Europe for 3 months now, this is basically the first time I’ve interacted with friendly and helpful supermarket staff since I’ve been here 😂 …
I like this Tesco so much but today I went in there I got very upset because a woman working where the customer service counter she wasn’t very friendly .so people who need to buy 4 5 items and want to buy example lottery scath card they can’t buy because they have 4 5 items in hand got told off before know what they want
It’s mostly got what small Tesco’s have. It has loads of self-service tills.
Actually, it has maybe a slightly more interesting selection than some small Tescos. At least when I went.
Shout out to Mitchell, soundest security guard in Bristol. Other staff are friendly and helpful, glad this is my local Tesco
Love this market. There are always plenty of items and staffs are friendly.
nice,quality.
Good selection, friendly and helpful staff. Quick service.
Tia she is such an amazing soul, very considarate, together with the security.
Meal deal in Uk is quite reasonable
One main +drink + snack
Did catch his name but working tonight 09/10/17…older gentleman with grey hair…excellent service, went out of his way to help with a smile
Good selection of well priced products that are served by friendly staff.
Very helpful staff plenty of choices just right fast shopping
Waiting for free till is madness sometimes but here is not many other places where you can get very cold drink or just meal deal all day.
Very good place to some quick shopping before you catch the the bus home
Expensive products
The busiest Tesco I have ever been in – always seem to be big queues.
Very busy most of the time, should have all you need
One of the guards at the entrance is rude.
Staff were really helpful. Good opening hours.
Horrible staff!!! Horrible staff!!! Horrible staff!!! So rude and don’t care about customer. Don’t go there. Work harder and go to M&S.
The staff are disgusting, which overshadowed an experience of a decent shop.
Not as much choice as a supermarket but still handy for topping up, milk, fruit, eggs etc;
It’s a tesco but more costly than the bigger out of town model , guess that what happen it the shop is in a major city centre
Standard Tesco. In an area that attracts some interesting customers…
Big store, good selection for city centre
Nice store
Superb store. Fulfill my all requirements.
Staff are rude, ignorant and in some cases don’t speak English.
Strange layout bit otherwise just your average tesco
just a handy shop while your in town shopping
Good service and all in one point
Super convenient and friendly staff!
the best supermarket in central bristol
Small store but convenient
Good for absolutely necessary stuff
Every little helps
Very good friendly service
We recommend the cherry pie!
Always find a bargin.
Good selection of magnums 🙂
It’s a supermarket!
Very big
Small but useful
Good service amazing
Generally pretty decent but has trouble keeping stock on shelves towards end of the day. Staff is pretty helpful and friendly. Clean. …
I don’t normally shop here but we were here on holiday and had booked for the first time ever a Tesco online delivery to the holiday apartment. I was annoyed to start with as the driver came 15 mins early and stayed 1 minute past the …
A great store with anything and everything you could be trying to find, there’s also a hot counter and a meat counter. The only downside to this store is that it is incredibly busy all the time, and I mean crazily busy, like a rave. If you …
We love Tesco, regardless of what other people think. There are many special food that I can buy there which are not available in other shops or stores. Such as free from dairy products, Polish products and other countries’ products. It is definitely not the cheapest by far but we can still afford it.
Nice spacious Tesco, clean, nice staff. Shame about the *people* who sit outside. Decided to eat chips and sausage outside the Tesco when an old man (obviously high on god knows) came and stole the sausage off of my 6 year old daughters …
Cashiers dont care about the queue, they just keep talking to each other discussing their pets etc. The queue was more than 10 ppl. One man asked cashier politely to provide service instead of talking. The manager was called and manager …
Once again visited this store at approx 4pm on Wednesday 15th Feb- ridiculous queues at the 2 tills that they bothered to open pushing everyone towards the self service which I hate especially with a trolly full. I questioned if they were …
Staff are terrible in the morning and rude
Had my shopping in Tesco Marina Swansea and staff on till terrible there’s also no scanner open at 6:30 and any other Tesco store always has scan as you shop …
Wow! Ran in to customer service to ask if I could get change for trolley. Told me they wouldn’t give me change without buying something. Had a toddler in the car! And way about to do our usual weekly shop of over £100. …
Always a good shopping experience. Clubcard points are great
Nice sized store with 2hrs free parking for customers in the large car park adjacent. …
Ridiculous parking validation system, which as we aren’t local I asked a member of staff what we had to do and where when we received the receipt from the self service checkout, but it seemed to irritate her having to explain it to me.
Amazing help from Nigel today:) went above and beyond. Thank you so much !!
At first they didn’t sell wine, even though I had a passport, a friend without a passport was just standing next to me, even though I paid. after which they did not scan the club card and were deprived of the discount of 8 pounds. In addition, extra pizza was punched. Instead of a check for 10 pounds, it turned out to be 22.
Ordered 2 toasties and a portion of chips which took ages even after being told that there was no waiting time on food. Food was brought out by the cook and apart from being tasteless I was appalled by his appearance….long hair and long …
Nothing much different. Same like other tesco
It is a very clean and pleasant place, everything is found
Quite the average Tesco Superstore, has a large range of products, however absolutely heaving.
The worst. Accused of shop lifting by some silly little make up 18y old.. Receipt shown and 10000 clubclard points awarded by HO
Staff are all top G’s, always helpful and friendly
Rude and incompetent staff. Prepare to wait ages if you need assistance for the self checkouts. They rather keep chatting around than to help you. Also a women said we couldn’t pack in the checkout area when there’s no one else waiting in line and there’s no space for customers to pack up their shoppings after checkouts. Ridiculous.
Everyday shopping experience. You can get virtually everything you need.
Just received a £30 parking charge notice for this the marina store. Absolutely disgraceful! There may be signs about validating your parking on arrival but when you are in a hurry do you read any notices a system that adds more pressure to …
Just got a parking fine. They are telling me that I parked my car overnight which is a load of c**p. I went there two days in a row but they telling me different?? Will not be shopping in Tesco again. This is twice that they have accused me…..
The managers just DONT CARE.
Im disabled and struggle with shopping each week, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly but over the last 4 weeks it become clear (confirmed by …
Good products and prices helpful staff
Standard Tesco, plenty of isles with a bulk buys section as well. Always well stocked with now a QR code click and collect for shopping, works alright but had a few early teething issues. Would recommend the click and collect and in-store shopping.
Very rubbish superstore, I got a fine for parking 1hour and 30 mins when Tesco offers 2 hours free (as it says so on the sign) It does not say you have to pay 3 pound for the free 2 hours parking
Just had to pay £30 for spending a weekly shop of £120 in your store. The signs in store for validating parking is not obvious enough for visitors to Swansea like us. Stupid parking system which is going to scare off customers like us
I was repulsed by the toilets , the male facilities where disgusting . There is not even any toilet seats , urine all over the solid fixed seats and floor . The door handles full of grime . Such a shame ! As the store was mostly full and seemed to be stocked well and staffed
Good sized store. Very good range
Often, hardly to find a car park. Expensive stuff in front. Not recommended for quick shopping, as often long wait, especially lunch time and between 5-7 pm, and after 10 – 11 pm.
Up to 2 hour’s parking and buy goods up to 3 pound in Swansea Tesco to put in the new machines they have before you leave there. First hour free, can get very busy. Self service tills were only card accepted with quite a big que. Very busy inside.
Big tesco extra with food, drink, toiletries, alcohol, clothing, baby things, optician, mobile phones, passport checker and photos, fresh flowers, fruit and veg, chemist, health foods, shoes, gardening and homeware items, stationary, cleaning products, make up and hair dyes, kitchenware, pet items, all you need really 😀 …
Tesco has mostly everything you need, customer service, and employees in general are very helpful.
Shortages starting to show on the shelves, hopefully not for to long.
Nice layout tesco, staff are friendly. I was out the far back of the store looking for something. The manager needs to hire more staff as I had to go to the till at the other end of the store then back again. There was a staff member but he was talking to a friend instead of helping people
This tesco extra should be somewhere closer between bay campus, so that can really help student that are in uni , secondary schools.
Why is it the car parking machines are frequently not working to validate your parking if over the 60mins because it can be so easy to forget to validate your parking later on in the day/night and then get a fine for not doing so
Tesco’s finest hummus is better than M&S – wow!
I have been enjoying celery and hummus instead of chocolate but wow yours taste better!
Really good store, has everything you’d need for a weekly food shop. Definitely recommend picking up a clubcard if you are buying everything as there are lots of exclusive clubcard deals to take advantage of. They always have a great range of vegetarian and vegan products which is great to see, and there’s always something new to try.
Large superstore. Staff are friendly and helpful. FYI, there’s an electronics section which was extremely helpful to me when I needed a lightning cable urgently.
The breakfast is as expected – cheap and low quality. The service however is very different each day. One morning we been served by a young lad who had terribly dirty finger nails and he failed to offer us a choice of toast, condiments and …
Wasn’t there but tesco great for shopping
Two minutes over 2 hours and a £70 fine issued. The customer service representative said it was tough and that I should have read the signs.
fuel station still had no diesel, have to drive in to find fuel station closed! It’s a bust junction too, especially 5pm Friday night! Put out of stock on the sign on main road to save people having to queue and turn around!! Inconsiderate!
Couldn’t access disabled toilets apparently you need to ask security on entry by the time I found this out it was to late so had to use the gents which was absolutely filthy. And customer services weren’t very helpful either . Tesco Llansamlet is a far better store . Although the produce was good.
Very enormous superstore. There’s nothing you can’t get in here of your daily need. Spacious parking lot and good customer service. I personally loved their food and varieties of juice selection. You still get tesco points and vouchers and …
Don’t appreciate being shouted at by staff for accidentally going the wrong way down the one way system, especially when the arrows in the top aisles don’t line up logically with the bottom aisles. Maybe sort out your system and show you customers the same respect you expect us to show your staff at this difficult time.
The worst breakfast my husband & I have ever had!!! Cardboard bacon, burnt fried egg covered in grease, cold beans & arrived with un-ordered hash browns & white toast instead of brown. All this after waiting an unacceptably long time. Not …
I love shopping with tesco the staff are so wonderful .Judith wilks 3 Harrington Place Swansea SA1 2BN
Couldn’t find Frozen Pain au chocolat. An employee from Tesco who had a hearing aid gracefully saved me from this predicament. Great guy 10/10.
Large store situated close to the Bus station and Quadrant.
Busy, with lots of customers. Can be a nightmare before Bank Holidays and Xmas …
Poor at best, for an enormous store you’d expect it to be well stocked, it isn’t. The staff are friendly enough but its FAR too busy for them to cope with the narrow little aisles. I’d advise travelling a little further and finding an Aldi or other smaller supermarket because honestly felt so uncomfortable here.
Big store, really good for students, just a bus ride away from all the accommodations offered by the uni. There’s a cafe in there, a phone shop, the toilets are always clean, there’s a small but good range of clothes in there too. It gets a …
I have witnessed Tesco over the last ten years become sneakeir and lazy. The days when you they cared about their customers are long gone. Check out staff, some are rude and they like to shout at people. Disrespectful Cows
Some really lovely staff here, great store, come here every week…..
Have just been fined for parking at tescos 70 pounds , not impressed at all. Will not go to Tesco ever again. So enjoy my money. My husband has a disability badge and we very often can’t get a space due to cars parked who do not have …
One stop shop for any thing
Just had breakfast in the cafe, great food, great customer service especially from Peter who took our order, couldn’t fault anything
You get most things you want here.
Staff are pretty quick on the checkouts and the wifi is seriously good. Once you find the location of the reduced aisles, your shopping game is on point. Also they are cheapest for tesco cookies in the student areas (compared to £1.05 in …
Parking so complicated and confusing – will be avoiding from now on. How long will it be before the parking arrangements will be amended so that it doesn’t deter customers
Staff were very helpful
Shopping environment is pretty good. It stores a lot of fish and exotic food. It has a health selection of spices and diary product as well. I would recommend this place.
Amazing staff, amazing prices
Rude Staff. Accidentally dropped soap and the top of the bottle broke, the security guard was VERY RUDE! Abruptly stated it was my fault and I should of gotten a bag although I was carrying 2 items! Never had a problem with them until today I will NOT be returning to your store. Very disappointed in the guards reponse.
I was going shopping with my three grown children, and felt the urgent call of nature I have Multiple Sclorosis.. the bathrooms were locked and in a filthy state. …
So spacious and clean
Fish wasn’t cooked looked like it was just warmed up in the microwave and the toasty was horrible, it wasn’t even bread it was just cheese. The only thing nice in the cafe was the drink…..
Very nice kind helpful member of staff lovely super market great for doing shopping
Was at the store for 3am, for some refreshments during my break in work, not many places open at 3am so had to travel a good 15mins, I have bowel problems so on leaving the store, I asked where I may find the toilets, security guard tells me very smug, that they close them and they reopen at 6am, great, fair play! 🖕 …
Tescos have handled this current crisis very well in all fairness, they provide you with cleaning products on arrival and leaving and when in store the shopping experience is not bad compared to others, thank you tesco.
Staff are lovely and clean place but abit pricey
Upsetting and embarrassing behaviour from the security guard on duty this evening. He enteted the ladies toilets shortly after I had entered at around 945pm. HE spoke in a very aggressive manner demanding that I should leave …
Very nice
Employees seem to go out of their way to be horrible. Expect for the people stocking who are generally great.
Decent selection of food and accessories. Always find this store too busy/overcrowded. The aisles are too small. Staff aren’t usually too helpful
I had to attend a meeting on Tues 22 may in Swansea and as this was my first visit to Swansea driving I was very apprehensive it is a nightmare. I panicked and drove into the Tesco on Oystermouth road mainly to seek advice on how to get to …
Ordered breakfast, brought the wrong order twice! Old lady serving had an awful attitude made out is was my fault tried telling me that’s not what I ordered! Showed her my receipt and she didn’t even apologies as it was her mistake! Worse service ever!
