I did new prescription at Specsavers then I went to vision express to change the lenses and pay for it they asked me to bring another prescription with recall period I only asked to change the lenses with no test why I should bring Spe recall period
For a prescription to be valid it must be signed by and optometrist, dated and have a recall period so that the opticians you want to dispense with knows when your next sight test is due. Otherwise that opticians would be liable if they dispensed the prescription without a recall period and you had an accident because your vision had changed for example.

Could you explain just why, if I am not able to book an annual appointment due to illness, am then informed that if overdue will not receive my next supply of lenses? Seems that you will still take my monthly payment though.! Held to ransom I feel

Went August 5 now September 9th 2020. Told glasses ready end of next week. Prism takes ages apparently. Initially told 2 weeks, now 5 weeks later and counting.
Just broken a pair of vision express glasses and was wondering how I could check if the frames are still available
