As a Kilwinningite in exile on the East Coast, I can’t avoid popping into Aldo’s when I’m back. Top quality chippy! Favourite is the haggis supper, which is battered in special breadcrumbs, and they always a good consistency of curry sauce – none of that watery nonsense we get through here!

Absolutely stinking. So greasy and taste like the oil hadn’t been changed for ages. We have tried the food before and nothing has changed since last time. Not what it used to be like year’s ago. No wonder it’s not as busy as it used to be. NEVER AGAIN.

First I’ve had something from here in about a year and was disappointed to be honest, the batter was soft and kind of soggy also found the chios to be kinda dry as well.

Not good I’m afraid, usually great fish supper, fish was dry and hard, also came in box not paper prefer the paper
