Write a ReviewAttended a&e mid afternoon today. Waited a little while for reception but booking in was quick. Department was quite busy but I only waited an hour to be seen by Matthew who was lovely and listened and examined me with care. Was sent off …
I went in with extreme dizziness and almost fainting multiple times. When I arrived I was seen by a nurse straight away and then within the hour had an ECG and bloods taken. After 4 hours in total I was seen by the doctor who was extremely …
Nowt more to say. 3 yrs of hell with severe medical conditions, to be honest I’m being kind saying a 4 but do appreciate what they do when I’m very poorly. Try to treat genuinely sick people firsts not the drama queens with a scratch or a …

July 2020: I visited the a&e as I was going through an early pregnancy miscarriage. I appreciate everything that the NHS staff did for me on that horrible day. After the doctor removed the sac from my womb, he said “I will arrange a scan …
A&E its in the title. Accident & Emergency which means unplanned and unpredictable. These nurses and doctors do not know what is going to happen each hour let alone each day. Yes its a long wait and yes some staff may be a little short with …
Cannot get lower than a 1 or I would give 0. Stuck in a&e for hours with 2 very painful kidneys only to be told they would not see me unless I have a sore throat and a cough. What a joke of a hospital.
Nurses were grate! Very nice and caring. After quite some time of waiting one of the doctors called my name. Unfortunately that was very unpleasant experience. He was literally upset that I am actually over there. I have had allergy …
4 hour wait, over 50 people waiting. Calm atmosphere, friendly staff, but slow processing.
I went to A&e yesterday night ,I found the receptionist abrupt! I tried to tell her I had rung 111 to say what they told me TO TELL THEM! ..and she Rudely interrupted to say well I need to know….. Which is fine but it’s about how you say it. Plus I don’t see the point of 111 with that type of response from staff.
Don’t use George Eliot go to walsgrave! My grandad who is 94 has fallen over 4 times in two weeks! He keeps being rushed to hospital then they say he’s fine and send him back home!!! How is he fine? They even admitted that he couldn’t get out of bed properly so why send him home. Absolute waste of time!
We had to go to a&e today with our daughter,we arrived to people waiting outside,so thought we are in for a long night, after about 20minutes we were taken inside, the waiting times said 3 hours. …
Busy. No seats. Long waiting times. Expensive parking. Too warm

I went to A&E today and I could not believe how nice the staff were,I was completely taken care of from start to finish, the doctor was so patient with me (I tend to be a bit high rate sometimes lol) he explained perfectly my symptoms so I …
Came with a really strong sudden back pain which made me unable to move too much and was increasing when sitting. Was laughed at by a doctor, sat in a chair for 3 hours, and told to get a medicine which the doctor even wrote on a piece of …
Iv literally been ringing the phone off for at least 1 hour straight they must have over 100 missed calls but nobody seems too be at reception or the phones on silent…even though iv been in there twice today and watched the receptionist answer many calls! Great help
Absolutely fantastic service, came here to avoid LRI A&E.

Wait times are stupidly long staff are worked off their feet something need me to change
Excellent service, only downside is the long wait. Special thankyou to Nurse Mona
Thank you to everyone on duty in A&E on the night of 13th. Your kindness, care and professionalism was greatly appreciated. Without you all I might not be here today? I can not thank you all enough my Valentine’s Angels.
Nurses were great. Doctor didn’t even look at me and told me to speak to my normal GP, then told me to do what I’ve already been doing for weeks.
Wasn’t left waiting to long which is good. Under the circumstances with covid they are doing a good job.
Nurses were kind of rude, but the doctor who has seen us seemed very nice and kind.
First visit to this hospital and I can’t fault it,the nurse went above and beyond.Thank you
