Have been there twice in the last month thanks to tonsillitis (the most recent was today!). I have seen two lovely doctors and everyone else was really nice too. Today I was told I would have a long wait, but that was only an hour or so. My prescriptions were sent straight to the ASDA pharmacy to pick up and everything was really smooth.

I’ve had to attend this hospital a number of times for the Walk in Centre, X-rays and also Physio. I’ve found everyone at the hospital to be very polite, helpful and show a high level of care.

Visit to the Minor Injury Unit Sept 2020 for my 2.5 year old daughter. She was very shy and scared but all the staff were brilliant at making her feel better, playing with her to allow to be examined etc. Did not have to wait at all either. Very good experience.

Though my son was prescribed a wrong medication and we had to come back to get the right one, I still like the minimal wait!

Great local hospital, various clinics available. Minor injuries unit, pathology, small shop, cafe, day centres, therapy rooms well maintained toilet facilities. Large areas available for support groups and a chapel/ quiet space. Staff have always been helpful and courteous when visiting. Has an open airy feel to the building.

I went there with an ear infection. Waited for about 3 hours to be seen by a GP who told me that I was going deaf. This place and the staff needs closing down. It is very worrying to think that they have this kind of staff at their A&E. This was a qualified young GP, which is even more worryingly!

The woman who does x-rays in the radiology department was awfully rude. Her attitude was appalling considering I was nothing but polite and actually made me feel very awkward and upset. She clearly doesn’t enjoy her job and takes it out on her patients. Horrible person.

Went in today with a burn blister and pain in my my arm. I have to commend Nurse Zara and student nurse Jess we’re absolutely fantastic. They made me totally at ease whilst they looked after me….. True angels

I went to the minor injuries clinic today with a foot injury. The Dr I saw was called George. He was lovely.
I was in and out of the clinic, thankfully without a break, in around 90mins. All staff were helpful and polite.

Terrible experience. My child was traumatized by a very mean nurse. Zero empathy or understanding. She told me we have to go somewhere else…. No advice where… I am shocked actually, she was screaming at my child several times….

I went to the casualty this morning as i had metal splinters in my thumb for about a week, i waited about 20 minutes before i was called in which was brilliant , the nurse treated my finger was friendly and efficient i am happy we still have this Casualty service in Gravesend and hopefully will continue to.

I was turned down for a blood test! That blood test could potentially save my life or anyone else in the queue who got turned down. Very disgusted with the way so called “NHS nurse” approaches everyone in the queue.

Fantastic service. Arrived at 8am all done 8.40am. Had something in eye the nurse was very pleasant and helpful. Think its best to get there as early as possible.

They don’t normally do dressings on the weekdays, but they ever so kindly catered to my need for 3 days post op. Staff over all very helpful and friendly! 🙂

Queue for blood tests was 4 hours today,feel so sorry for the poor stressed out staff who are trying their very best,would be helpful if doctors would be able to do blood tests now,to take some of the stress out of the huge influx of people having to come to the hospital

Gravesham community hospital hospital should be closed as it does not serve the community. The staff pick and choose who will receive care. Since when did a hospital choose who to care for?They either care for the commu ity or not. Should be closed till such time they start living up to their name

The reception staff need some lessons in politeness and the security guard on the door was down right rude and expects disabled people in a wheelchair to sit out side in the rain.
