Write a ReviewAfter visiting London a few times my son finally got his wish to visit Hamleys and from his perspective it was VERY impressive. …
Cool & huge toy store. Crowded but a great place to visit. Has something like 5 stories, each one dedicated for another age or concept. Has Harry Potter store at -1 storey
Well what can I say, this is a kids playground and even big kids at that. It was amazing to see all 6 floors and the lego statues that had been made on pretty much each of the floors. Would recommend to families as it Would be good for the …
Woah, what a place. Never seen anything like this before, kids toys wise. True paradise for kids and parents! Every toy store should be like this. Kids can play with many things, product demonstrations are really cool, just a bit too …
I just absolutely love this place, it makes me feel like a kid again, so much amazing stock really well laid out store, the staff interaction and display is second to none. This truly is still a retail gem and cements the opinion that …
Hamleys is a delightful place to visit whether you are 2 or 60.
Its really a visual treat that spans 5 floors. …
Was as wonderful as when I was 5 years old. My son loved the performance before the store opened. Lots of wonderful toys and Teddy’s. Lovely staff and toy shows. Has a few surprises with a cafe and handed and gretel ice cream bar. Thoroughly enjoyed it here.
There isn’t much that hasn’t been said about hamleys which I can add, I will say however try avoid with buggy. Myself and wife had 4 yo and 2 yo in strollers and it was a disaster. Way too busy to navigate and the lift system is a mess, 2 …
Such a fun store for both kids and adults, just fun to hang out on a rainy, cold day. So lucky to have it right at our door step! Love the display tables they have… full of unique and fun stuff. Can’t get enough of it and soooooo much more fun than the Disney store!!!!!!
Absolutely massive stuffed with toys. All kids would love this place but don’t come during a heatwave as there’s not much AC. I think there’s about 5-6 floors each with several performers doing tricks and magic with toys. Even I was impressed with some of them and I’m a grown man
Oh boy what an experience this was. I (24f) really enjoyed walking around the store. Everything was way more expensive than I’m used to in the Netherlands. But there are so many demonstrations of the toys they sell. I would have loved to see more board games. But overall a great free experience and a lovely place to shop at.
Such and amazing place having come from the US here on vacation. It has so many floors of just toys and collectibles. We grabbed some Peppa dolls for our daughter and while there found some Harry Potter wands for us, and also some build a …
it’s magical! I had never heard of this 7 story toy store until today. My boys were ECSTATIC!
This is a kid’s wonderland! …
The kids (10, 13, &40) spent ages in here. So much to look at. Friendly staff showing off the products, it was brilliant. Even my sulky 13 teen year old was cheerful and entertained, if you can impress my sulky 13 year old boy then its …
We stood in line for an hour to build a bear not sure if there is a less busier time we visited at 4. The staff here are very attentive and friendly. Fun store to visit. One staff member went above and beyond and booked us a table at a nearby restaurant we weren’t able to book online ourselves
This toy shop is the nicest toy shop I have ever been to and not just fun for kids it’s also fun for adults to walking around looking at all the toys. They have many floors just filled with toys every child’s dream. The downfall about here …
Feel like a kid again going in here. It is great for adults and kids something for all. All the staff on the shop floor are really friendly took time to talk to me and my kids. The staff on the refreshments counter quiet rude clearly did …
Brought back my childhood memories. Now taking my child with me. His eyes just lit up. 1000s of toys, lots of great staff with awesome demos. Opportunities to play with lego, remote control cars etc. A must for anyone that has children. Great advice from staff also.
Amazing place to buy toys and gifts. Think twice of bringing your kids here because they will not leave this place. This is the only place where kids will leave their moms and hang on to toys. …
So much fun to visit! prices are a little steep, but it’s just a great experience to visit. The staff are a lot of fun and kids and gown ups alike get to try out the toys and join in the fun! 🙂 it’s pretty magical!
Very nice toy store. You can find a lot of toys. Certainly those from recent promotions (Harry Potter, Paddington, Disney, …).
Many toys are demonstrated by the friendly staff who also explain how to use it. The prices are not the cheapest but you need to buy a souvenir from this typical toy store.
Parked husband at Lego station for 10 minutes whilst I went to get some Jelly Belly’s. Always lots of fun demo’s going on, and what looks like some nice ice cream and desserts in the top floor cafe. Escalators all the way up except for top floor of around 20 steps.
Not simply a toy shop! It is a marvellous world for both children and adults! Very positive vibes and atmosphere! It’s like being in Wonderland.
I have been shopping at Hamleys for years now. It’s a great toy store that always has the best toys and games on the market. The staff is always willing to help and I have never had a bad experience there. I recommend it to all my friends with kids!
Five floors of great experience with lots of different toys. You can play with them and watch demos. You can pay at any floor. There’s a lift, escalators and stairs with easy access. Bus stop in front of Hamleys
It’s easy to see how this place became such an institution after visiting in person… I have never seen anything quite like it in terms of scope, presentation of product, including ensuring there is room for patrons (more importantly their kids) can have a go with it before lugging it down the 5 flights of stairs.
I promised my son we would go to Hamleys while we were in London.
It was toward the end of a long day and it seemed to take forever to walk there, …
Visited 3/28/23. Store is bright, colorful, & pricey. Can be overwhelming. It has seven levels w/activities by staff on each floor. Entertainment inside & out.
Always a great experience for us and the kids. Bit of queue but it was December when we visted so that’s to be expected. Packed full of toys on 5 different floors. …
Amazing experience for children, the welcoming is really filled with entertainment and enthusiasm. …
The most magical toy shop in the world! The staff are amazing with the kids, letting them try a wide range of toys. Always such a fun and pleasant experience at Hamleys
I liked it as an experience, it’s a huge selection of different toys from different genres of film and popular culture. Loads of brand-name toys and accessories are available as well as specialist items I’ve only seen at Hamleys such as …
Such a wonderful selection of toys and each floor is dedicated to particular age ranges and interests so it was very well organised. …
A wonderland of toys. Great experience to wander around the multiple floors. Expensive, the toys can be found elsewhere at more reasonable cost. But the atmosphere is magical.
As always, the most amazing experience. Ensure you get there before 10 so you can watch the bell being rang to open the store, elves are on hand to sing and help too. Be prepared for all kinds of amazing toys, ones you’d forgotten too!
Yeah, totally worth the trip, would recommend if you have children or if you have a inner child of yourself that’s close to the surface. We had a great time.
We recently visited a toy shop that was truly impressive. The store had an incredible selection of toys, with everything one could possibly imagine. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the shopping experience even better. The …
The staff was friendly and my girls had fun playing with the toys fake snow and having the opportunity to have 2 nails done and glitter tattoos.
Looking around see the logo characters were good.
6 floors of some amazing toys. Kids love this place as a day experience, just browsing through the toys is a pleasure. I would not go away without visiting the topmost floor as it’s where all the older toys are like nerf guns and rc cars besides the original marvels and Star Wars merchandise
What an amazing shop! It was busy but the staff were happy and helpful and the shop clean and tidy.
Loved the Harry Potter and Lego section the most. Also the Schleich section and the window display were amazing!
Great shop wit a lot of activities, but…
Not kids friendly furniture ⚠️!
One of my kids bumped its head going around the isles, and as you can see from the pictures attached, we ain’t the only one.
Hence the 1 star.
Lovely experience for the kids. Everything is overpriced as expected. Compared prices for some items my daughter was interested in. 50% cheaper at Smyths for the same product.
Hands down, THE BEST toy shop in the world.
They even have a Hans and Gretal in there now, which just adds to the epic-ness. …
Heaven for kids and toy lovers 🐻😁👌 as well as us bears who needs new clothes or new friends 😊👍 on the third floor you find a build-a-bear-workshop with all the cool stuff you might need as a 16 inch bear 🧸 the atmosphere is like an …
This is a very big toy store. Impressive on a scale on par with the Toys R Us store in New York Times Square. My 6 year old daughter was somewhat impressed with the toys. She is only interested in Pokémon, though. As a result, we went …
Great for kids!!! As soon as we walked in a staff member saw my nieces birthday badge and sang her happy birthday Love it!! She had so much fun walking around going higher an higher, there is so much to see, loads of options for toys..something for everyone!

Let us go back to childhood.
You can take an time machine if you go here.
But Never bring children if you don’t want to spend alot of money.
However here is also good place to present gift for lover too.
Great shop, friendly staff, lots of different choices of toys for kids. We had a good experience, really like that shop.
It’s an experience going here. Staff are lovely and playful, great at their job and staying in character. Every toy, puzzle, game…you can imagine, they have it here. Displaying all sorts of new things showing how they work, and amazing statues built out of Lego… I loved it and felt excited and I’m not even a child, haha
My 6 years old had a great time while visiting the store.Planty of toys available and a lot of things to do in the store. We had a booking to meet Santa which highlighted our visit.
Thank you Santa &Elf 🤶 🧑🎄 Recommended …
Save a whole morning or afternoon for this. I don’t particularly like toy shops but this one is on a whole new level – or 5 ( not completely sure how many). Watch your prices because you may pay a bit more because you are in Hamleys. The …
There is lots happening in this store. Kids are having fun here, adults reliving childhood. The staff demonstrate.thentoys well.
A “magical” toy store. The workers explained some of their star products. Characters cheering at the main entrance. 7 toy plants for all ages.
Lovely store, I once visited when I was 12, I felt toys back then were more delicate and finer, but maybe just feeling of nostalgia.
The children love coming here, adults not so much. When I went to pay they said the tills closed and the only tills that where open are on the ground floor which had a long queue. I did see people put down there items and leave instead of waiting to pay.
This store is amazing and full of magic, our favourite and we have to visit everytime we make trip to Regent st. Today Iam reviewing Santa’s Grotto! The experience was just so magical from the moment our elf Ziggy welcomed us to the moment …
A five floor building full with toys for every taste. Quite expensive but you can find a rare toy which could surprise your kid. Good for Christmas presents!
Kids loved it! All the staff were brilliant. It was really busy but all the staff we spoke to made my daughter feel great by talking to her as it was her birthday. Took quite a few hours to go round and explore the whole store. The kids …
I think me and my 7 year old son spent an two hours there. The staff there where so much fun for all the kids that were there. And the selection of toys O. M. G. !!! We only did 3 floors. Mostly 5 floor.the Entrance where there was always some characters entertaining the kids and there families
Biggest hamleys in London . It’s 5 floors with one exclusive floor for the Harry porter fans. There is a toy all age group irrespective of your age.
Came across this store when walking around Soho / Regent Street. They have huge section for Harry Potter, which was lovely (but expensive, or not, depending on your financial circumstances). Bought children books for my friend’s toddler (hardcover and cheap too!). They also sell so many many dolls.
The concierge at our hotel recommended this place if we were in the area and boy im, it doesn’t disappoint. It is massive. The cool old building alone is so cool. …
The largest toy store in London. There are 5 floors plus basement. Worth to visit.
A 7-story toy shop that can take quite a while to walk and look at many different types of toys. In the store there is this entire Lego floor for Lego collectors to browse.
Amazing store for all ages, friendly staff and includes toys for all ages, whether it would be a Teddy bear to an OO gauge train, so you would always want to return no matter the time or period.
It’s a very nice toy store. Peaks both adults and kids’ interests. There are a few floors with their own themes. The workers use some of the toys demonstrating what they can do; you can also use them. There’s arcade area with VR games, even a magician. It’s really magical if you’re visiting for the first time.
Came back to this one after 8 years..how many hamleys have i been to in India however this one has my heart ❤️ always..the vibe here, staff friendliness, collection everything is amazing. Even if you dont want to shop but just roam around …
Amazing world, not only gor kids, also for adult. Lovley place. Can find pany idea for gift.
The staff is very rude, kicked out of the store because we wanted to eat ice cream, which we bought from them. Moreover, they shouted that this was their territory and we could not stand here. I have never seen this in London. it was raining outside, there was no reason to go out with ice cream.
Amazingly magical! With so many toys and endless floor levels of more and more toys for everyone to enjoy and even make adults remember and revive their childhood toys. It was purely amazing to see kids wowed at every corner with the …

Fun evening shopping before Christmas. Got a 20% discount by asking politely, I’m sure Alan sugar would be proud. You can spend hours building lego with your children before you buy. I reccomend you not to pick up a basket unless you want to spend a few ££ 😂 …
Kids loved it! Definitely! Prepare enough money for your kids’s presents. It’s right place to burn some 💰 to spoil good kids😂 …

Kids spent several hours there. Most of all they liked the section with Harry Potter. I liked the selection of board games.
Amazing place for small and big ones…u must visit the biggest toy store in London
A great experience for kids, and let’s be honest adults too. Great selection without it being overwhelming. Let down by their poor lifts (you have to use it if your kids are in buggies, but we ended up waiting 15 minutes to go up and down – …
