Write a ReviewI’ve been visiting the centre for 8 weeks and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool facilities during office hours when it’s less busy. I met lovely people, and the personnel are amicable as well. …
Deep in the heart of suburbia, but a great venue for fitness, play, coffee or room hire.
Register car for long-stay parking.
I have only used the gym and steam room/ sauna and found them to be the best / largest in the area with the gym having a good variety of equipment, although it is still a rather small gym and does get very busy during peak hours. The …
Good afternoon, I love the coffee shop and the swimming pools but regarding the soft play area a new soft area which is brighter than this soft play would be better as I find it very dark inside ,in the play room I would like to see trampolines. I hope my feedback helps, thank you
Beware parking limited to 2 hours and policed by ANPR although apparently it can be extended on a terminal inside the leisure centre. Places for People kindly helped cancel the PCN on this occasion.
Been here twice with my young daughter to use the small pool. Water was much colder on the second visit recently (first visit was 2 years ago) but she had a great time. Facilities are cleaner than Taro Centre and staff are very polite and reception staff organised. Will definitely return more frequently
The lovely lady on reception (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name but she had black curly hair) was so incredibly helpful in setting my membership up, she answered all of my questions with ease, was friendly and polite, and just a pleasure …
Regards the gym – the weights area is too small… it’s packed at regular hours. The CV areas are at least 50% under-utilised if not empty at most times. The central monkey bar frame is mostly wasted space again. Whole gym needs properly …
Our local leisure centre and one we visit every week for my child’s swimming lessons. I’m particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the pool, I’ve been in state of the art facilities before where the pool was less clean, it makes such a …
Great local health centre with modern gym, soft play and swimming pool. Both a large 25 Meter pool and smaller children’s pool. Good changing facilities with ample family size changing rooms.
Does the job with gym + sauna & steam rooms, squash, swim and classes. Plus cafe and softplay. …
Has what it needs, shame cafe isnt open longer on days they have swim galas, couldnt even get a warm drink 😩 …
It is a lovely pool I really enjoyed my swim.
Beautiful quiet and clean. Perfect place to give my 5 year old swimming lessons. Much, much better than the stressful over aggressive pool attendants at Godalming.
Doesn’t except cash, had exact change for a nice hot drink and where refused although the drink was already made, physical money isn’t good enough anymore 🙁
Good facilities but the staff always seem unfriendly and slightly like they would prefer to be having a chat rather than helping customers. I think membership is very expensive too. …
Staff are great. The phone number and social media contact pages could be more attentive. When trying to amend an appointment in advance the link didn’t work. I called and was never called back. My messages online still haven’t had a reply.
Lovely 25m swimming pool with 8 lanes, which is always nice and clean, and has good changing rooms. The whole place was re-furbished in 2015. They offer a popular range of swimming lessons for children, and those that are keen can progress to the excellent Haslemere Swimming Club. One of the best pools in surrey!
Booked a family swim session today. Had to wait to get in as not enough staff on reception. Was given two old numbers laminated with blu tak on to stick on a changing room and a locker so they know which have been used so which to …
Great facilities on offer, softplay for the kids, good coffee shop. Modern gym, swimming pools for both Children and lane swimming for the adults. Swimming lessons are cheap and very well staffed. Membership is very cheap for a family.
It’s hard to give a score as there are many different ways to use the facilities. I think it’s great to have swimming, soft play and parties for the kids. That said, it seems to cost more than I’d expect each time. Plus I’ve had an occasion …
Used GYM only**Really good gym for an entry level.Even though my membership allowed me to use all the facilities for £46 all in I only needed the gym. Found the staff helpful especially the pleasant personal trainer Alana?? Plenty of …
The gym is great and the staff are very friendly but the swimming pool! Try as an adult to get swim after work, no chance! all full of kids having swimming lessons, every night of the working week right up to 8pm using the lessons as a cash cow, only a couple of lanes open to the public on a one out one in rule. Not happy.
I love the staff here and the gym is well equipped. Pool access time are not flexible enough for my schedule though. The ladies changing room has an issue with the drainage which smells lile a pit toilet at timea…2 years on and this is …
I recently decided to get back into my fitness and re-join the gym, however I needed some motivation to do so. Alana however was a wonderful personal trainer, she has been vital in my steps to success and provided me with the guidance I …
Reasonable little pool for learners but swimming not cheap at £5 a go. Nice little bit of soft play equipment in cafe that doesn’t cost extra once you’ve paid entrance fee for other activities.
This is a brilliant leisure centre that I have used since I was a child. I remember when it first opened, and am still happy with the service it provides today.
Can’t say I’ve had the bet experience! Going to the gym itself and getting on with a workout has been fine. However, whenever there’s been interaction with the staff there’s never been an immediate answer, but the promise of a phone call …
Nice place to workout. Has a big gym, if compared with most leisure centres, but still lack of some apparel (but honestly It’s quite complete). The Swimming Pool it’s big, and goes from 1m to 3m profundity.
It’s good just if you want to go swimming after work then don’t even bother. They say lessons finish at 6 and I was promised this when I signed up. They always run over so. Theres only one lane free that loads of people cram into. You also …
Great gym facilities with decent modern and clean equipment. I don’t use pool so can’t comment.
However the old changing rooms often have a bad smell like they aren’t cleaned …
The pools are badly managed and are frequently closed due to lack of staff. When they are open they are mostly unavailable due to an insane amount of school swimming lessons.
Good facilities, great for young kids, especially Creepy Crawlies. Pools are good, just wish the training pool was warmer as it can be quite cold for adults standing around most of the time.
Went with my friends. There was a lot of confusion and miscommunication, some things were advertised in less detail and then it turned out they had conditions that weren’t ever displayed, it’s overpriced and we were told the wrong times …
Lane swimming just at the time you need it…after work. The pool is a bit cloudy at the moment. The lane swimming is chaotic with no designation of slow medium and fast. Changing area is clean and individual showers welcome.
Overpriced. Inflexible, unhelpful staff. Rigid rules. Visitors treated like a lower species, disallowed access to the gym change rooms or toilets but instead herded to the swimming pool change room/toilets. Gym is small, overcrowded, has barely any equipment, access to the studio is not permitted. A terrible experience.
Good main pool. The kids splash pool is really good for very young kids under 2 however its a bit too shallow for older kids and when we went it seemed s not cold compared with other local pools
This morning I had a good experience I went for an early swim so the lanes weren’t busy and the toilets and showers where far cleaner than they are when I come in the evenings. Staff at front desk friendly and welcoming.
First of all the kids pool seems to be closed all of the time and the reason of my families membership cancellation was because we were given the wrong swimming pool opening times 3 times resulting in very upset children. The kids soft play …
Have been using the Herons for many years. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I look forward to my visits every week.
Poor customer service, some staff ignoring you as you stand at the desk, the website is not updated and phone answering message incorrect saying ” please hold, we will answer shortly” when the centre is closed. …
Great pool for kids but can be fairly busy especially on weekends. Our last visit was a bit of a disappointment as the pool temperature was slightly colder than it should be.
Well kept pool with friendly staff. Good value for money.
Excellent experience here when joining the gym. Josh was a credit to the centre answering all the questions we asked of him. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Very clean and tidy leisure centre with a good sized. The gym and pool can both get very busy at times which is the only down side.
Good facilities as long as the sauna and steam room is switched on at the right time and maintained regularly. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Well located.
When my daughter was first there the life guards thought she was gonna drown so they put her in class 3 then eventually within a week she moved to 4 and now she’s in 5 so ever since then we’ve loved them to pieces
The inflatable sessions at the pool are great for kids. The gym can be frustrating with people colonizing the equipment bit not really using it.
It’s ok for a quick swim with or without the kids but the so called ‘fun and floats sessions are terrible for the smaller pool all floats broken and no toys or balls for the kids to play with hardly a fun session!
Swimming pool taken over by manger’s kids . Staff allowed them to run riot , jumping in the pool and ect .. Told to get lost when I complained to manager . Would stay clear if you want a quietlife and bad idea to take out membership with .
Was told my son and couldn’t use the lanes as he can’t swim a length. That upset him, being 6 and trying hard to learn with me. There were several other lanes available with no one swimming in them.
Very good
Swimming lessons seem good, if a little oversubscribed. Its v expensive for one on one lessons but little one seems to be learning ok.. Always clean which is a plus
Big swimming pool and modem gym. Only let down is that the staff don’t enforce people using towels. Sweat on benches is not pleasant
Swimming lessons for adult ?
Please let me know the cost 🙏 and quite time during the day .
Many thanks. …
Rudiculously poor ommunication regarding swimming lessons. In the end I have given up trying to sort it out and have gone elsewhere. As just a place to go swimming it’s ok and reasonably priced
Very good for the little ones. It’s the best swimming pool we have found in our area.
Really good facilities, nice pool and good gym – Just lacking nicer showers and dressing facilities.
Found the way staff booted us off the squash court 3 minutes before the end of our game very rude and the courts are in aweful condition, go to midhurst leosure center.
Ian gym manager is the most professional and helpful ive found doing induction course first class service
Sick and tired of people sitting on machines and texting instead of working out. Takes months to get machines fixed. Only a few machines have the tv and sound working.
The trainers and receptions are super nice! The facilities are clean and it is not too crowded
Decent leisure center. Has a coffee shop and a soft play tower for children under 8
Good facilities and the kids have great swimming lessons here.
Great place to gym. Some times get to busy in the early evenings but all in all joy a bad place
Very helpful staff and good facilities.
Very cold pool!!!!
Haslemere is lucky to have a great leisure centre that isn’t overcrowded like many others.
Fantastic classes and great equipment. Particularly like Gary’s classes as he pushes that bit harder for great results
Great place to keep fit. Love the spin classes. The staff are friendly.
Clean, which is more than I was expecting…but prices a bit to high, especially now, when many of us lost our jobs because of Covid-19
Great for toddlers!
Nice leisure center. Good bright pool too.
Staff really friendly. Great place to swim.
It is a nicely presented and clean gym with an enjoyable zumba class
Went for a birthday party. Good soft play and has a nice cafe.
Nice, spacious and well equipped leisure centre.
Good swimming pool, nice soft play and good party experience
Terrific swimming facilities. Good for spectators too.
the staff were not very helpful or welcoming and kind of rude
