I attended the breast care clinic on December 1st 2022 following a referral from my GP. I just want to pass on my grateful thanks to all the staff in the department. It was a seamless and efficient service and everyone was so friendly. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful hospital.

Chipped a bone on my wrist. On follow up given a full cast for 3 weeks. So far great service.

I had a full knee replacement done here on 9th December 2021, I was on Ward 3. I must congratulate and thank all of the hospital staff. A truly remarkable friendly and professional team. Five weeks later and my life improves every day. Thank you for your help and support. Yours sincerely

I received day case surgical treatment at this hospital on 23rd Jume 2023. I cannot recommend the facility highly enough. The fabric of the building is clean and welcoming- which filled me with confidence and the whole team were kind, considerate and very professional . Thank you.

The urgent care team at hexham today were incredible. I arrived with a cow related head injury and they were very thorough, caring and attended to me quickly. Can’t thank the nursing team enough for there kind bed side manner and thorough examination!

Very modern style hospital with a wide range of departments. All modern open plan design, ample parking available. Burnbrae Doctors surgery attached to the hospital and Lloyds Pharmacy located within East Entrance. Open plan Cafe and vending machines are also located here and offer a wide choice at a reasonable price.

An outstanding A&E facility with courteous attentive staff who looked after my daughter on two occasions. We were seen quickly and the staff in all departments were great. Hexham is very fortunate to have this Hospital.

ward 3 – nicest bunch of people in the world. Nothing was to much trouble and my stay was only 36 hours for total knee replacement. Treated like royalty and the knee is getting better by the day.

I came in as a day case but ended up having to stay in. The staff on ward 7 were amazing and so lovely from start to finish.
