Terrible – fobbed off when making a legitimate complaint. Reception staff are very polite and helpful but trying to get anywhere with a complaint is difficult. I’d expect someone to apply a modicum of commonsense so that a simple complaint is resolved before it has to be escalated.
Try to pay council tax on automated service does not work type in your details and it does not recognise details transfers you back to start.

Appalling service ! abysmal customer service ,these people think they are too important to answer their phones or do their jobs .We should fire the lot of them and start again ,Awful rude and insouciant behavior .They have forgotten they are public servants and do not think they have to be civil.
Dismal website experience – trying to get info for my elderly parents, have to download PDF files to get any info, except the links lead to more links and then the files are not saved properly so you need to be an IT expert to even open them. Good luck with that aged and/or disabled people.

i feel very sorry for the staff working here. The waste collection is so slapdash and careless that they cannot keep up with the complaints. The website is useless so we are obliged to pester the said staff. The Councillors meanwhile absorb themselves in utter self importance

can certainly echo a previous reviews comment about their inability to even answer the phone – utterly pathetic. Doesn’t matter what time of day or what day of week, just the same rubbish service every time.
Website doesn’t work on Safari or Firefox on up to date operating systems. Whoever’s in charge of IT clearly doesn’t regularly test cross platform to check operability. Woeful.

Staff rude and unhelpful. Last time I went the member of staff at the desk demanded that I use the self-service machine so she could carry on chatting to her colleague.
The kind of Council that makes you forget they’re meant to be a public service. As others have said, they don’t answer the phone. When you email a complaint they take ages to reply, couldn’t be more unhelpful.
Disgustion how you handled our dispute for parking and sent in the baliffs with in 2 days. Then side step our question and referred our claim to Rundles

Complaints go through to Island Roads who fails to answer complaints,council has no control.
They need to employ parking wardens who a) arent colour blind and b) can read a number plate!
