I’m tired of missed bin collections. I contacted them many times and reported missed collection many times but did not work. Nothing to do better than just pray god to they collect your bins. Definitely rubbish service…
The council is shambles. Minor issues tend to turn into hassle and you end up giving away your personal time sorting out these troubles, minutes turn to hours. You get nowhere. If they moderate the reviews, know your council is a shameful disorganized mess.

Horrid council – no surprise it had to be put under special measures for corruption. cant talk on phone whilst they take amounts from my bank not agreed and cant even access online. it really needs closing down – worst council in the whole of the UK. Disgraceful
What do you have to do to get a phone call answered? The waiting time is a joke. I was told on 11th October 2021 I would know in 7 to 10 days about assisted collection for my bins by letter or phone call. So far I’ve heard nothing

called 5 times to report traffic lights at top of St Oswald street that stay on for 10 SECONDS when traffic is backed up to Prescot road .They promise every time someone will look at in and it never gets sorted, needless to say 20 minutes every day waiting in queue to get through lights

I am calling for over 60 minutes now, and I keep hearing an answering machine tell me that my call will be answered as soon as possible. I have tried 3 (three!) different telephone numbers and still receive exactly the same reply.

Just been on the line with them about canceling my council tax due to changing the address. Really polite and helpful lady picked up the phone. It was really helpful.

I have regularly phoned up for updates on a planning application and I am amazed how quickly they answer, how polite the staff are and how much effort they put into finding out about my application. Other government agencies need to take note.
Abysmally bad at answering questions, calls and emails. Dont do any repairs, never look after anything. Always someone elses fault.
Useless. Cannot once get my council tax right, so when I go to complain they do not reply to my emails, or it takes 25+ minutes on hold just to contact them.

What a load of rubbish…I have been sent a letter from someone that is dealing with something from the marriage sector of the council…just spoken to some snotty person on the phone…that would not direct me to the right person dealing …
the council and the decision makers are corrupt. they are a bunch of money corrupt thieves. no wonder the city is so poor.
