Write a ReviewA lovely open space after recent building work. Which has created an increased amount of pedestrianised area making it feel safer for walking
This is a-must-visit campus in Scotland due to the green lush and lovely walk around the lake, the legendary sport complex which home to the world class swimming pool. The golf course located in the heart of the campus is a beauty to …
I experienced racism during my studies. Stirling Management school’s all the professors are racist and they make sure the asian students including (Indian, Chinese and Pakistani) went through metal pressure and stress during each step of …
Terrible uni if you are an international student. Most of the staff I have encountered have sub-par knowledge and to make matter worse they are pretty condescending. Many of the international students they intake don’t even know how to …
My experience at this Uni was horrible and traumatic . Ranging from disregard to opinions, discrimination, breach of practice agreement, oppression, and controversial results. I had two controversial results at this Uni, twice. I did not know how some people treat black people until I started studying at this Uni.
Was up to see the evening show of maw goose. But have to say the uni have beautiful Christmas decorations up. Tree outside the mcrobert centre is beautiful
Lovely surroundings to amble through and trails leading to the surrounding woodland for those who wish to be more adventurous.
It’s the dream of many to study in the UK hosting a long history of quality education ans representing many nationalities accros the globe. I got the opportunity to here in Stirling University which has been ranked as the most renowned …
Wasnt so good this time . My car wouldnt start, had to get the breakdown man
This is a stunning University campus, with a castle, loch, wonderful woodland gardens with Giant Redwoods, gorgeous red, yellow, white and blue rhododendrons and azaleas in Spring, snowdrops, bluebells, daffodils, hydrangeas and secret woodland walks up the hill. And golf. And a cinema. And a theatre. And bars. And an hotel.
The farce of a parking situation is another reason in a long list to keep local people away from the campus the university is turning into a self centred anti locals area, the place is disgusting with litter everywhere as students do not …
2 stars because the academic staff are amazing and deserve 5 stars, but the rest of the university staff (accommodations, gym, etc…) are awful. They are very snobby and talk down to the students. I’m a postgrad student in my 30’s and it’s …
Great campus and facilities, but badly run and inadequately signposted. Stayed at the hotel inside the campus, which meant that we could use the pool. But leisure center staff are very unwelcoming to hotel guests. …
One of the best University.
Lush green.
Awesome castle. …
Great place to walk. Very peaceful and pretty. Lots of wildlife.
Lovely grounds. Footpaths around the ponds and campus lovely mix of mature trees. Higher up at the back there is a woodland walk again some incredible tree specimens. At the moment the paths are far muddier than normal due to massively …
Really nice woodland/loch walks. Its a shame some dog owners have no respect for the wildlife around the University. Continually see dogs off their leads trying to attack the swans!
Not sure what I’m reviewing here. Grounds/ education/ atmosphere?
Day Visit …
Good uni. Decent support for students and overall good professors. The campus is the biggest plus though. Especially after the latest renovations.
The University Of Stirling are warm and welcoming. Not only are they receptive of diversity, but also they consider the needs of their students. I was made to feel at home, upon my arrival. The staff did their utmost to provide for my comfort. It is my pleasure to be a part of the University Of Stirling community.
Lovely walk around the lake
It’s 1.5 mile
Mid all around, very bad quality education
Beautiful place for a walk
As I was born and raised almost in the shadow of Stirling University, it really is so pleasing to add my own personal thoughts about the place.
1981 it was, my first experience of the Student Association’s various licenced …
PhD Candidates and international students: don’t do it.
I spent 6.5 long years at this university, from my undergraduate to a PhD. …
I am happy that i have been offered an admission to study here, I hope i will enjoy my stay here and acquire the required academic knowledge and skills i am seeking.
If I pay for a Sports subscription I should not have to pay for the car park. That will add over £150 to my membership!
Stay away from this university. 1) The PR department often employs professors who don’t have the required qualifications and 2) they discriminate if you are not square. I am happy that nowadays we all know how university ratings are generated because I was personally harassed by the director of the programme I attended.
Chronic lack in parking spaces has made my PhD studies much more stressful and expensive. I spend ages every morning trying to find a space and often have to pay for additional parking elsewhere or risk (and sometimes get) a ticket on the public road, despite paying for a very expensive parking permit for parking on campus.
What a stunning place, just back from a uni tour and now just hoping my daughter gets an offer as the visit confirmed that this is definitely 100% her first choice
Beautiful place! A place where I had so many good memories when I studied here. If Covid-19 disappears, I really want to visit again.
Beautifully landscaped campus. Well mantained grass, shrubs and trees. Families of swans on the man-made lake.
A singularly beautiful campus underpins an excellent, collaborative and engaging educator that excels. Always punches above its weight and delivers so many grads into employment. Recommend to anyone!
Very weak program in strategic communication and PR. The knowledge was very narrow and concentrated on few fields.
One professor was very interested in political PR thus all lectures used those …
honestly shocking in how they treat students. If you arent a sports student, dont even bother. They treat you awful, let the worst things happen to anyone and theres no consequences.
Service was decent..would have like to have known a wedding party was going to be there but overall for the money we paid I would recommend it.
bsolutely beautiful campus
It’s only the best University ever! Teaching methods, friendly students, semester system, happy night life, very social and amazing campus which looks different every few minutes throughout the day
Best university in Stirling
Comfortable beds and decent rooms. Excellent breakfast. Bathrooms could use an update. Recommended.
If you are a disabled student, do NOT study at University of Stirling unless you want to make the situation worse! They don’t really listen to students voice. They exaggerated how friendly they are! However they are just lazy and dominant. …
Awesome university with a great view over the lake. It is even possible to start hiking, following a trail going north, up to the Dumyat.
One of the lecturers I met was very discriminatory against certain international students and she intendedly refused to answer any questions from those students and fails their assignments. I was one of the Asian student so once officially …
Lovely university setting
University of Stirling ‘s Indian administration is Pathetic . Especially the guy named Aakash . He doesn’t know how to talk to students and dont even know how this guy became a Student councilor .He’s full of attitude and does”t .Please avoid this college if possible and there are many number of good colleges around there .
Stirling University is a name of Brand No University can compete with the level of education and Students of Stirling feel proud after completion their Degree
Super hotel. Excellent service good food and very comfortable rooms. I will be a repeat visitor!!!!!!

Nice school to study. They have great facilities that will make leaning easy and interesting.
Apart from it’s diverse educational backgrounds, this place has seriously a beautiful lake with a marvelously built old castle.
It’s a great place to study and learn with a multicultural environment.
