Took mum to MVH for minor injuries unit, it’s closed, have got a nurse practitioner clinic via 111 only. Would advise to check before arriving (wish I had) great unit. On the plus side managed to park in disabled bay and mum visited the charity shops (bookshops too) and comfort shop.

The nurses are lovely, especially Charlotte in hand therapy. Makes me feel very relaxed and as ease (very nervous patient). the reception staff in the medical block i find very rude and abrupt, hardly ever say hello or smile at you. Ample Parking space. Greeted by a polite lady at the entrance. Ultrasound department was clean and the 2 lovely ladies (one of them named Rachel) assisted to me very politely and gave necessary info when queried about.

Mainly visited the hospital phlebotomy room for blood tests. There are four nurses’ rooms, but they’re not always manned. Hence we sometimes end up waiting a long time to be called in. Most nurses are very professional and well mannered.

I Had a hip replacement here some nurses were nice but most were rude/uncaring and straight up ignored me , I was crying in pain and felt I was just left there after giving a higth pain score, I was still not given strong enough meds to help with the pain. this place needs updating as it’s too old.

One of the best A&E departments in the area……the waitbis short and the staff friendly. Any injuries after rugby on Saturday all the players come here as they know they’ll be patched up and back in the pub by 8/9. Highly recommend it against the much busier and slower Northwick Park

As much as you can like a hospital I liked this one. Staff are friendly and very professional. It’s easy to get around and lot of parking space and good link to public transport. The building is very outdated but hopefully will get refurbished as this would be an iconic building.

Do not drive here alone for an appointment. The parking is atrocious. I have been waiting over an hour for a space at entrance 3.
Fortunately I was dropping someone off for an appointment. If they had been coming alone they would have abandoned the appointment and gone home. Very stressful.

Attended Mount Vernon for a blood test. It was really quick. Socially distanced, temperature taken, chairs cleaned. The HCA was really nice and very efficient.
