Write a ReviewBeen in a Muir property for over 7 years now. We have only had one issue over this time which was mostly the result of an external contractor for fencing which was resolved. Muir have online reporting for repairs which is really helpful.
Ive found them to be pretty good and honest.
I understand people have problems with muir housing. We have work men come out and haven’t had a clue but all in all muir housing have been reliable anough to us.They sort the issue out 95% of the time with out issue.
2wks ago an electrician from Muir came to fix my outside security light, he replaced it with a new one, 2wks later…..its still not working 😕 I had to call back to book another repair to have it fixed but I have to wait another 2wks!!! …
If I could give zero stars I rang Muir on the 29 October, requesting an emergency plumber,as the upstairs toilet had developed a leak which was now coming through the dining room ceiling.I was informed that there was no emergency …

What a joke Housing these people really are, 3 months for basic repairs to be carried out All because they contract out to a mickey Mouse Cowboy builder, A housing officer you can never get hold of, Worse thing that happened to me and my family moving to Muir Group. AVOID AT ALL COST’S
Disgraceful, have 3 young children under the age of 5 and my hot water or heating isn’t working they wont come out and fix it as they dont see it as a emergency bare in mind it is winter and 2 weeks before Christmas !!! i am absolutely disgusted by this i will be taking this matter further !!
