Write a ReviewI came to the emergency room after 12 at night. I couldn’t be examined until 8 in the morning. I told the doctor about this situation and he said that the waiting time is 9-10 hours. After eight o’clock I informed the reception and he …
My daughter started to have a fever at 8pm, we called 111 who attended us at home and they kept watching for another two hours. After a continuous vomiting that started at 12pm, we decided to bring her to the hospital. we received the …
I came with my sick mum today to be seen at West Wing Centre, while waiting inside the security gentlemen from the picture, kicked everyone who was not a patient quoting “because I said so” outside from the waiting room in the street, when …
My mum came in for an x-ray and discovered she had a fractured pelvis and sent her to A&E. There was a long wait which we understand as there is huge pressure on the NHS. She was transferred to Thistle Ward. All the staff were marvellous, …
I had a very pleasant experience in this hospital as a visitor from Europe. I went on 1st January, and I was surprised for such a good, caring and quick service. There was no long waiting, I was done within and hour . I came with painful …
I was very unwell when I visited but I am very glad I visited this particular hospital. Have to mention Micheal Eyoma, I believe he was a nurse. His care was amazing. He was efficient, knowledgeable and explained very well what was being …
Pray your relative does not get admitted here. It’s like a place they leave people to die. Doctors will pass you by once a day and the nurses spend their most their time on their phones. Don’t expect anything to be done at the weekend. …
Avoid avoid avoid! They had me waiting 10 hours in a&e to see a doctor whilst being in agonising pain. Pain more worse than childbirth in my opinion. Yet they ignored me. When the doctor eventually saw me he goes “were you like this the …
I have not seen anything worse than this hospital staff in my life. 7 hours wait for my 1 year old son to be seen by a paramedic, was told that my son is next to be seen, but had to wait 3 hours and 30 minutes when apparently he was next in the queue. no humanity whatsoever!
I went to A&E on Tuesday morning around 2am. After being handled well at reception, I was then forwarded to an middle aged African nurse who was exceptionally rude, judgmental and condescending. She had no sympathy at all for my situation …
Worst A&E in this country. I took my 9y old there who is very ill. We arrived at 10:30pm and I left at 11:30 am the following when the first doctor saw my daughter. I had to call my husband to take over, my poor girl came back home at …
Worst place ever, I waiting for 2 hours, after I go to reception and ask why is that, they said I must go to the West Wing and the receptionist ask me where are you been I was call you on the speaker. I ask how many time she smiled and …
Fantastic. Everyone was absolutely polite and friendly. Starting from great receptionist and every person that I dealt with. They were not only on time but they accommodated another appointment as a walk in. I’m massively thankful, great hospital but even greater people. Keep it up guys.
Went to A&E with my 7 year old daughter and the waiting time was too long.. we wait 4.30 hours and left without any checking as the time was 2am night (they asked me wait another 3 hours). Only 10 patients was on children waiting room, …
my friend waited for a few hours in visible extreme pain to see a GP and receive morphine. the GP was really passive aggressive- said that my friend “wouldn’t let him do the assessment properly” because they couldnt move (they were in pain) …
This is the worst hospital in UK! I done my lumbar puncture test and blood tests in December and I’m still waiting to be contacted by someone about my results. Every time I call up the neurology department they are either on holidays or not …
Please never take any one to this hospital please my mum who was 76 years old went in with a chest infection and never came back home. She was in hospital for 3 days and every time i asked the doctors they said oh she is fine she is …
Arrived at A&E early this morning. Waiting area was packet with patients, some have been waiting for over 13 hours. A staff announcement advised us all that the average time to see a doctor is 14 hours. Is this common practice in Newham? What is the waiting time elsewhere?
Appalling.
A huge thank you to Dr. Thilan P. from UCC department who did extra miles for my condition and who looked after me more than I expected (taking into consideration the previous reviews for this hospital). Yes, the waiting time was long and …
I went to the A&E department today, and had an bad experience. I waited here about 6 hours and the doctor didn’t see me. But the stuffs are soo irresponsible and they did not treat me as a patient . It’s like I’m here to disturbing them. …
Dreadful for maternity services. NO ONE answers the multiple phonelines they have. Rude staff except for 1 or 2. Very clearly understaffed and over pressured. Long waiting times. Bad birth experience due to rude and careless midwives. Was …

My wife gave birth here was the worst experience we had. In whips cross the service was great. This was truly a horrible experience my daughter had to be kept in the natal ward due to the way they managed the birth

I Wanted to thank the staff who were so caring and were very empathetic. Dr …
Very bad service and waiting time is very long. They not bother the patient. They not give perfect answer if you asked. They keep patient overnight but they don’t have bed for patient. Patient should spend the night on in waiting area. I would never recommend this Hospital
Cardiac moniter for 7 x days ordered on discharge of 11 days in hosp.I was informed that depending on the results I will be contacted to either go to cardiac clinic or Barts London for a possible pacemeker. After 7 x day ECG moniter …
Just had a surgery and reading some of the other reviews I see that other people who give one star review are coming from a completely bad and the wrong place. The staff members here at the forest ward are amazing, and are doing everything …
The staff from neonatology ( newborn babies are held)very unprofessional. They behaved like the ward was their property. Probably this is possible in Africa as the staff were 2 African women. Never seen so far such a disgusting behaviour …
Review on Lloyds Outpatient Pharmacy.
Located near Zone 12 & A&E department. …
I’m a resident of Newham so this is my local hospital to lean on. I was admitted in A &E for a day, it was a long queue in the middle of the night, no enough seats, and some people standing. The service was pretty quick, some tests to wait …
Honestly considering the current affairs with the government and NHS I was more than happy with the service I received for the taxes I pay. Amazing staff at this hospital very patient and tentative. Everyone I spoke to was kind and …
If I could give 0 I would, medical teams like crisis and itu are great but unfortunately some nurses, agency staff and mental patient companions have no regard for common sense, patient care, or basic training, if you have Sickle Cell go to Homerton Hospital. Actually made my crisis escalate being at Newham at every stage of care.
Incompetent and uncaring staff at the urgent care unit all the way from the receptionist to healthcare assistants and nurses (haven’t had the luxury to be seen by a doctor in spite of a deep cut), they’re all short and impatient with you, …
I’ve been there last night and I had a miscarriage when I was there, so I told that to the nurse straight away and the answer was “There are other people waiting. You’re at the 9th place from now”. I felt horrible and honestly that person shouldn’t be even called a nurse.
Shame on you.
I would like to thank you all at the Emergency Department for making everything possible to take care of my father.
Is good to recognise also the great service of NHS not just the bad one. …
The worst Accident and Emergency department. Waited more than 5 hours for a doctor. Last time i came in with my son who had asthma attack was told to wait for 4 hours i ended up taking him to another Hospital who treated him straight away …
It’s the worst and racist hospital I have ever been to in my whole life. They will make you wait there for hours and then refer you to some GP assuming you don’t need medical attention urgently and then right in front of you, will give preference to some other people. Please don’t go there if you want your life to be saved!!
Excellent service received, as an emergency! All members of the A&E team acted professionally and prompt with kindness and respect!
Thank you very much!
Service is completely rubbish. No one knows what they are doing. They give you appointments that they cannot recall from the day before. If you have a life threatening injury, do not come here.
Horrible and useless staff
Very rude receptionist. Feels like someone is forcing her to come to work as she clearly does not want to be here.
We should stop paying taxes for these people salaries
Zone 4 maternity ward which I have been visiting for the last 2 weeks unfortunately the air conditioning is not working. I don’t understand is there no ounce of understanding and humanity pregnant women who are struggling. By far the worst …
They saved my life! all very thoughtful, kind and pleasant. I went through all the wings (unfortunately) from the resuscitation room to the bedrooms on the second floor and I can say that everything has a lot of quality! Everything was very …
I was delivered my twin babies here zone 4 is very good and after i deliver the twins they stayed 25 days at NICU.All good but only NICU waiting area is not safe for our bags and stuf.I lost my earpods and set of house keys and biscuits from my bag.
After visiting the ‘Newham University Hospital Emergency Department’, we were told to go visit here for further information, which we didn’t have to stay for too long for the outcome. …
Avoid this place like the plague!
My husband and I went to visit my sister who gave birth over the weekend to my little nephew. I understand the hospital have a policy of two visitors at a time, …
The night I gave birth my midwife wasn’t on duty, so another midwife named Happiness took care of me.. At the time I had Covid and she refused to hold my hand despite wearing gloves, a mask and a plastic that covered her entire face. She …
Thanks to the lovely staff working on Saturday when I unexpectedly needed their help. Was treated with such kindest by Francesca, Socrat, Geoffrey and the rest of the team. Thank you for the work you do. The nation loves you. X
Went to A&E and the waiting time was too long (around 7 hours). Nurses and doctors were nice but the reception staff was extremely rude. Shouting at patients for asking fairly relevant questions, wouldn’t even look up from her desk to …
My sister in law has just delivered her baby and my brother wanted to go see his daughter however the receptionist who was working said he wasn’t allowed in how inhumane is that stopping a dad from seeing his daughter. It is absolutely …
