The care received was absolutely outstanding at every point, from A&E to …
Second time visiting meadow ward with my son. The surgeon, anesthetist and nurses were fantastic with explaining the process of the operation to us but also to make the stay as comfortable as possible for my son. Thank you to all working on Meadow ward.
Arrived 4th Feb with daughter where 111 told us to get her to hospital ASAP. Daughter already had belly pains since 26th Feb where we kept going to doc. Finally got to hospital on the 4th and waited 8hours and told it would prob be another …
Nice and calm environment. Very polite and friendly doctors and staff (Visited Pediatric neurosurgeon). Building is very child friendly.
We are extremely satisfied with the hospital, the nurses and doctors there and all the care they took for our baby. We came in after visiting another A&E where they didn’t pay attention to him and he deteriorated with symptoms of scarlet …
Signage in entrance clearly states masks to be worn at all times and only 1 parent/carer per child patient. I observed very little following of these guidelines, and zero enforcement. Very unfair for the minority like myself that still …
All the a&e children hospital’s / St Michael are amazing they do awesome job looking after children and parents
Had a follow up appointment for my daughter today in the carousel department, the waiting room was great, So many toys, books, a tv and a play kitchen area! She cried because she didn’t want to leave. The doctor we saw was lovely and patient. We also weren’t waiting long considering it was busy.
We cannot thank the lovely staff on Daisy ward enough. They showed up compassion, kindness and really helpful.
Thank you!
My son (13) had to be rushed in for emergency surgery and the care he received was outstanding from start to finish, from A&E, surgery and then the Penguin Ward. Thank you
Nice consultant, deal the best they can with my daughter who has severe anxiety around hospitals. Makes the 4 hour round trip worth it as local hospital are at a loss.
Myself and my daughter attended Children’s emergency department yesterday afternoon. I would like to say the care we received was truly amazing. Thank you so much to the ENT doctors and the nurses who were clearly rushed off their feet but …
Being a mother of 4 girls I’ve certainly had a few visits and on each occasion all the staff I’ve interacted with have been brilliant. I feel exceptionally lucky to have a dedicated children’s hospital twenty minutes away from my house. Our …
Took our 6 month old baby children’s A and E. it did take a while (2-3 hours) to be seen by a doctor, but it’s not due to lack of care just sadly there are more patients than doctors. I was amazed how they manage to operate relatively …

Arrived at 10pm in which I was brought in by ambulance , from 10-2am I was seen by 1 nurse and made to sit on rock solid plastic chairs for 8 hrs in total, I’m almost ready to leave at quarter to 6, massive disgrace honestly and the clowns are asking for a pay rise, silly jokers
I will be for ever grateful to the girls on caterpillar ward. They have looked after my little boy amazingly, so friendly, welcoming and hard workers. In particular, Millie, Sophie, Rachel & now we have another lady and I can’t remember her …

Came here last week. From the security on the door – the nurses on the wards all of the staff were fantastic. Made sure people had masks on, making sure not too many people were entering the hospital in one go. All very friendly and …
What a brilliant hospital with amazing staff. After having to visit with my son due to a bad foot injury, I cannot thank the doctors, nurses, medical staff, security team enough with the care, help and support my son received. Thank you!
Nothing less than gold standard service tonight.
The team didn’t stop caring not only for my son but every one in their care.
Thank you so much team Bristol 💕 …
One of the worst experiences of my life. I don’t understand how the children’s emergency department dares to call it self that. Not only I was on here for 12h with a crying, in pain, trowing up one month old, the only thing I got out of …

Absolutely amazing childrens A and E. Fabulous staff. Could not have asked for a better experience, especially under the NHS funding circumstances. So thankful.
Absolutely brilliant hospital. My son came here twice for two surgeries. One surgery was to put in a stent for his heart and the other was open heart surgery. He was seen to very quickly and the nurses were amazing, he was on Dolphin ward …
My granddaughter recently had open heart surgery here and being only 4 months old it was a scary time for everyone. The nurses, consultants, surgeons and after care team were phenomenal and were extremely attentive to our concerns. Baby came home today and I have nothing but praise. A massive thankyou for everything.

One of the best places to take care of children.
Whenever went if any injury with my daughter they were all very helpful and approachable. Waiting time is always long but this happens in all emergency units.

I was only in the hospital to collect my daughter and granddaughter after she had a fall and hurt her neck but the staff were welcoming, helpful, kind and smiling. A credit to the NHS. They all said a lovely goodbye to my 2 year old granddaughter and she was in great spirits
Our granddaughter had a major head trauma and Bristol children’s hospital are brilliant. During this hideous pandemic we are unable to visit her but the hospital staff are going above and beyond to look after our granddaughter. Thank you so much everyone. You are amazing!
Bristol looked after my little three year old boy beautifully and the operation was a great success. Great communication from the doctors and we were never left hanging. The overall care from all the doctors and nurses was first class. Thank you
Staff are really doing great job. My son received very good care. The doctors are nurses are the best. They deserve our respect.

Amazing staff and surgeons! Thankyou for all you do. 🙏 I will always be eternally grateful. In particular Janet McNally and Simon Lee. …
We were in for 7 days on the bluebell ward, the nurses on the ward were amazing however disappointed by the consultants, as we were given over optimistic time scales of recovery. Consultant said a few days when reality is months.
Call an ambulance if you want your children to be seen by a doctor as I waited 6 hours than gave up as they couldn’t tell me how much longer it will take.
What a fantastic, efficient hospital this is.
My son and I were treated with great respect and care.
Top marks..!!
Children’s A&E was dirty, toilets were worse than any public toilet, many of the clinical staff were wearing too much jewellery, some had dirty shoes, and far too many of them did not observe good hand hygiene, very poor basics. Shocked at the poor standards.
My son had a full tonsillectomy, although the staff were great the kids are checked into the same ward before and after the operations, so for the kids who have not yet had they’re operations have to listen to kids screaming for hours in …
It kinda reminds me of a pub called Salm in Mongolia where me and my friend from Chelmsford went to this one time, it smells a little old and it looks a little cheap. Prices for Wi-Fi are insane and the bar isn’t good at all. Overall the Royal Children Pub is okay, but it could definitely be better in many ways.
My 20 month old son recently had an operation at the BCH. We couldn’t have asked for better care. All nursing staff, consultants and surgeons we’re brilliant. I would definitely recommend this hospital
As a father who also happens to be a person of colour, the various experiences of overt prejudice over the years at the facility have been traumatic. I genuinely hope we never have to set foot in the place again.
We were on burns ward 33b and Nurses were gr8 and luigi and jonathan and hesta were brilliant but the asian doctor was a complete knob and disrespectful and head up his ass, he also put my 2 yr old in alot of pain
Car parking is a shame, 4 hours waiting time to see a doctor
Excellent staff, who kept us informed throughout my son’s operation. He was on Apollo ward which was great for teenagers.

No where to park, poorly laid out .. probably not a big enough area for what is needed at all ! Staff are great as always tho
Friendly, caring staff who take their time and listen. They also use plain English and do their best to get you home quickly.
Very friendly staff told my son exactly what was going to happen each step of the way. Very caring and were a great support to me x
Amazing staff but a little wait and bad parking. Also I recommend not to have their potatoes, they can’t cook them well 😂🤪😋 …
