My daughter had an operation today at Sheffield children’s hospital and I couldn’t fault them at all. They were amazing with her and with my while I was a blubbering mess. Absolutely horrendous service from the receptionist on duty , to the A&E nurses to the assessment medical team. First time here today after many many different hospitals and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Friendly staff all round fantastic consultants so helpful. We came to emergency with our 12 days old daughter and it took them over 3 hours to get a doctor to see us. What is the point of emergency unit if patient needs to wait that long. Echo other reviews. Staff don’t wanna be there. Our new born has also caught chickenpox as they don’t clean the weighing room or the apparatus. Lazy and dangerous for health reasons.
