Worked on the ITU/HDU unit as an agency nurse and will NEVER EVER return. Very cold unfriendly staff. They don’t judge you by the quality of your work but by the look of you. Do not appreciate the help you offer or even when you work hard. Horrible!

Always treated with care and respect the staff at this hospital always help you as much as they can.

Wouldn’t take a goldfish here. Worth the extra drive to Liverpool. Despite history of serious DVT, I was sent home with advice to take paracetamol for an extremely painful swollen leg. Pain became unbearable overnight and luckily a friend drove me to the Royal Liverpool, where a femoral DVT was diagnosed.

Both my mother and father developed urosepsis and died at Southport Hospital. My father did have cancer but my mother was otherwise healthy don’t go here if you can help it.

Have been a patient a number of times and have been very well looked after.

Spent a day here after collapsing in pain doctors and staff were great and the ambulance staff were brilliant cant remember much in the hotel room but thanks for the first class treatment

My son was involved in an accident on his cycle with a car which hit him causing two fractures to his back. The Doctors and Nurses where first class in his treatment.

The staff in A & E are absolutely wonderful. Kind, caring & professional. I can’t thank them enough.

Today I have been taken to Hospital Omskirk to get better see Nurse doctors heip feel better again.

I know people who had awful experiences especially with A&E but when I had my appendix removed the care I received was excellent!
