Massive tax bill that’s forever going up for terrible service that’s always getting worse. Phone line makes you wait for ages through endless robot notices, then plays obnoxious techno waiting music, then auto cuts you off because “we are experiencing high volumes of calls”. Shambles.
I called SBC today and, although the wait was a bit long, I connected with a lady called Louise. I’d got stuck with an online form and she couldn’t have been more helpful; she made everything so much easier than I had believed.

If they spent half as much time and energy delivering services, as they do in making up rules and finding excuses not to do things, Stafford would not be in the run down mess that it’s in.

Stafford council recently “upgraded” their car parks so you are forced to pay via an app. I got a parking ticket because I paid incorrectly and had to pay their fine event though I could prove I had paid my parking fee. Good luck getting any sense out of the clowns running stafford council
How in this day and age can a council NOT recycle wrapping paper and charge you to take away garden waste

Council Tax Dept answered phone in less than 2 minutes and after security checks had the info I needed to hand. All took less than 5 minutes.

Literally the worst parking department I have ever dealt with, nobody knows what is going on, nobody wants to deal with you.
Denied statements that have been made to me over the phone, thoroughly unhelpful.
Don’t trust the staff here. I phoned them on many occasions within a relatively short period of time to report a chance of circumstances, only to be told to do at least 5 different things,by 5 different members of staff. The staff are incompetent, and unprofessional..
Bin not emptied. Staff say well you will have to take rubbish to tip myself,(in other words hard luck) watched them myself throught the window they drove straight past. Will they refund my time and fuel, No they do not care…….
Receptionists rude as anything, not listening to what you have to say. Get better response from a brick wall.
Zero sense of responsibility, Nothing more to say.
Worst parking department, always struggle to speak with them over the phone. Phone lines busy more then 1 hour.
Wait on phone for 10 minutes about a covid enquiry to get hung up on straight after the call goes through. Joke.
Try employing enough people to answer the phone & you may get people answering your queries!
Found StreetScene very helpful with litter picks and clearing problem areas and reported dog mess very quickly!
