Write a ReviewNever been here before but what a friendly hospital! Parking was plentiful and was easy to see how many spaces were left in each zone. You enter a specific zone and get a yellow token at the barrier. We arrived around 4pm so every carpark …
Easy parking and disabled free. Staff were most helpful and went out of their way to help us. We were there for just under 1 hour. The previous appointment was in Stoke where it took 10 hours.
I was in ward 8 the staff were lovely. They really put me and ease. Everyone in the theatre were absolutely brilliant. I stayed in the recovery for 30mins and the staff there were brilliant. When I got back to the ward I was starving they got me a ham salad, a ham sandwich, yogurt, crisps. Nothing was too much for them.lovely hospital
Attended a and e with broken ankle . I couldn’t be any happier with the service I received . Parking was easy the receptionists so kind and helpful . Very little wait to be seen by triage nurse who was fabulous , straight to a jolly X-ray …
I was referred by my doctor for quick track referral, and got to see a consultant with in 48hrs amazing.
I was seen only 15min after my appointment time by a consultant who immediately …
We found ourselves at A&E this morning. The service was excellent. But just a note to say, there should be more prominent signage to tell you to check in on arrival if you don’t have an appt. Also the pharmacy should display opening times. Thank you for your help today.
Went for a non appointment blood test. Waited about 25 minutes. Lovely staff.
Clean waiting area. Would recommend if you can’t get in to your Gp. As I would have had to wait 2weeks!!
Having been fast-track referred to Gastro & Gynae, and having undergone X-rays, CT Scans etc. I really can’t fault the service I’ve received in any department. I’m an ex-nurse, so probably hyper-critical, but, without exception, from HCA, …
No faults with hospital they are 100% except for the parking. You have idiots who can’t park in the bays which make it virtually impossible to park and get out of your car safely. Considering how much you pay you would think that some sort of check would take place.
Never had a good word to say about stafford because when my lovely nan was there her treatment was appalling some yrs back when the hospital was hit hard for their lack of well EVERYTHING but spending 6 days there myself very recently I …
We were seen surprisingly quickly and kept well updated. Staff were lovely. Very kind , attentive and friendly despite it being obvious they are very short staffed. Hope they get their payrise. They deserve it.
Lovely staff and fantastic service. I’ve recently visited for 2 different appointments and the staff couldn’t do enough and treated me with kindness and dignity. My mother recently had an appointment too in the cardiology department and she also commented on how lovely all the staff were with her
I had to take my sister due to an accident at home. The service and treatment she received was exceptional. The only complaint, was the wait at x-ray and slight lack of communication. Although the receptionist, Pauline/Paula? Was fantastic …
I was taken to county hospital A&E on Friday 13th January 2023 with stomach/abdominal pains ,and I was treated with utmost care and dignity. All staff were amazing especially Staff Nurse Alicia Fligg and Doctor Yang MA they are a credit to the hospital
Think the staff here think the patients are a burden. Triage nurse, didn’t say hello, didnt introduce herself, didn’t make eye contact. Got up to put an oxygen monitor and blood pressure monitor on -didnt say what she was doing or ask for my hand. Dr walked off after calling my name, didn’t introduce himself or even say hello.
First impressions after booking a slot via 111 online…. not impressed, had to go through the whole booking procedure again. Another bit of worthless money spending by the goverment and the NHS. …
What a lovely clean happy environment. It’s so calm and welcoming. All the staff seem so happy and super helpful. It’s been a pleasure to visit. Hit the like button if you are pleased with this review.
No problems with the hospital, but do have problems with having to wade through the smoking inpatients who crowd by the car park payment machine by the main entrance.
The Nurses / Doctors that work here are amazing. I have torn a tendon in my heel / foot and had to wait a short while for an X-Ray. They are the most loving and compassionate people I have met in a long time. Last time I was here was about …

I had severe back/leg pain and was told by my GP to visit a&e. This was late afternoon so I decided to wait until the next morning when they open at 8am (A&E is only open 8am until 10pm). Was triaged within 20 minutes and taken straight …
I was seen in A&E by Dr Sundralingham. He was a very helpful and caring professional. My nurse Tracy was also very caring who looked after me. My experience has always been excellent in A&E when I have taken neighbours, family members and now myself. Very caring friendly staff.

Bought my obese son here because his ankle buckled under his generous weight. The nurses rolled him into A&E because he was too wide for the chairs- nothing was too much trouble for them. It’s do nice for them to be kind to fat people because let’s be honest- they bring it on to themselves. Lovely staff.
My wife had to go to A & E after a trip in the garden.Everyone was very helpful, and kind. She was in severe pain, and was given a wheelchair, pain killers, 2 x rays, and a visit to physio. Cannot thank all the staff involved enough.
WARD 8: Good while I was in there for a tonsillectomy, however went back on everything they said regarding aftercare. Once discharged they did not want to know or help me with queries on pain, just kept repeating the same thing Codeine, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen (which isn’t working!!)
