Write a ReviewThe whole thing is a joke. Went to the emergency department with an allergy, at 11pm and it’s 8 am and we’ve got an allergy tablet that we’ve informed them that 2 allergy in the a few hours interval didn’t work. So now at 8am after 3h …
Great service! Amazing staff! Came to A&E to check a cut on my daughter’s knee. Kelly, the nurse did an amazing job. She was very patient and careful with my daughter. Luckily, she did not need to stitch her’s cut, just clean and glue it. …
Had wrist surgery yesterday in the day procedures unit. First try two days earlier went badly due to lack of equipment, but they brought me back in asap. All the staff were fantastic, doctors, healthcare assistants, nurses and porters. …
Would just like to thank all of a&e, the Acute ward, and the gastro ward. All the nurses and staff were fantastic, caring, and attentive. I heard so many people screaming and complaining at the nurses, but they really are doing a fantastic job. Especially when you consider the state the government is treating the NHS
Went to A&E with asthma exacerbation – bloods, X-rays etc – told chest infection, had nebuliser treatment, given meds and sent home. 1 week later back with chronic chest and back pain. Same diagnosis, morphine given for pain and more meds, …
Attended A&E last Wednesday evening, expecting a long wait as the busy waiting area suggested staff were under pressure. I was assessed within a few minutes, X-rayed 10 minutes later and then fitted with my fracture boot and crutches soon after that. Was in and out in just over 1 hour. Just wanted to post a positive experience.
My grandma spent 2 weeks in Ward 1 after hip replacement surgery. She was treated by great care by all the nurses. JoJo, Mariya and many others whose names I cannot remember went the extra mile each and every day. NHS Trust are lucky to have such hardworking staff. Physio are all praiseworthy, as they catered to each and every need.
My husband had to go to the emergency department 4 weeks ago. Given adverse publicity, we dreaded going. However, our experience was very good- triaged quickly and several positive interactions with doctors and nurses including a CT scan …
I unfotunately needed a colonoscopy on the 2 week pathway this weekend and I have to say the whole team start to finish were amazing. My appointment was 9.15 job done and home drinking tea by 12, …
I’m 11 weeks pregnant, I arrived crying with pain in my urinary tract, due to cystitis, I did the urine test, it showed high bacteria and no doctor saw me until 5:31 am! Very disrespectful to a pregnant. the whole world will know about it.
Absolutely disgusting not even worth 1 star. The second visit to a and e after 10 days, I phoned my GP and was told my tonsils are so bad that I must go to a and e. I waited 7 hours to see a horrible, rude and arrogant Indian woman called …
I was very nervous before I went to the hospital for a small operation. The nursing staff were excellent and put me èase. The surgeons and anaesthetist were also excellent. I couldn’t rate them highly enough.
Just spent over an hour being first in the queue on phone to fracture clinic as they haven’t contacted me over my dads shoulder fracture. It has been well over the 72 hours they suggested we wait for call back. I have given up after wasting all that time listening to annoying music.
The a&e department is obviously overstretched which isn’t anyone’s fault here so complaining about waiting times etc. is pointless especially as a lot of the nurses/HCA’s/doctors do work hard and are empathetic. There’s a small minority who …
My mum was discharged for the 3rd time on Saturday since she collapsed on 16th November. A&E xrayed carried out CT scans all clear. Caught flu whilst in hospital and discharged 3rd December within days of discharge confusion from infection …
Worst experience ever in my entire life. My wife is 12 weeks pregnant and she was taken to this hospital due to sever pain and had all the symptoms of miscarriage. Its been more than 7hrs and still not been taken care off.she is crying in pain and no one even care.the only option they have is to give a painkiller. Worst experience
I went to A&E last week with my little one she got a tummy bug and infection the staff was very nice and helpful they give some toys to her and they put on the tv for her and they ask me for dinner
In AE for the past 8hrs not yet seen a doctor, and have been told that ter is only 3 doctors in the dept and hence the long wait, really unbelievable, every single time its this same scenario. GOD help us all
Eye clinic app…. Poor communication. Poor understanding on their half as to why I was there. What’s the point being told you have an appointment when they don’t stick to them?! The hospital is poor all round. They told me my eldest didn’t …
We have sadly lost a family member 8n the last 2 days. I cannot praise the doctors and nurses in A& E enough. They looked him and us with care and understanding till the end and he died with dignity thanks to them. People complain about the NHS but I can’t fault them Amazing human beings
Very bad experience, doctors in colourful uniforms flaying by without any significant destinations. We are here since 10:30 and now it’s almost 9:00. Literally every one that was here is still sitting in the same chairs. All we had is (who …
The staff were amazing and efficient despite a and e being very busy. I only Spent 1 hour 30 in a and e and had x rays, and was seen by two nurses and a doctor in that time.
An absolutely TOXIC hospital devoid of accurate medical records, and dangerous mis information. Ward 4 run as a social club for Chinese/Philapino unqualified, low qualified ignorant staff. The patients just an interruption. NEVER EVER …
Firstly paediatric A&E play area was covered in blood as were some of the seats & I was shocked to see it is only cleaned once a day. Was sent home after 3-4hr wait, so had to go back to my GP who then gave a prescription for my daughter …

Recently visited Stoke Mandeville hospital for my injury….. great team of health care professional doing great job.
Good staff actions, well trained doctors, great at following procedures, fast and effective, very responsive to care for patients too. Stressed language and behaviour towards patients by some staff. Mental health Suport should be available for staff. More breaks should be available for staff, they only have a 30min break!
Came in with someone who’s having trouble breathing, they were brought in by ambulance. It’s currently 9am been here since 3:30 and we’ve not even seen triage yet. We were put in a corridor and forgotten about for hours, had to ask for …

Horrible staff and especial that black doctor had very horrible attitude towards me today. That black doctor doesn’t deserve to wear that uniform and to be in that position. I hope he will be dismissed. He doesn’t have compassion and …
This hospital is absolutely disgusting, the way they treat people here is unacceptable, the staff are rude and arrogant and don’t even acknowledge you when trying to speak to them. …
“My wife is pregnant and she can’t breath, can someone please help”, words no future father wants to shout out loud in the middle of Stoke Mandavillle A&E, You would expect someone saying this to be taken very seriously, bar the other …
I was seating in the emergency department from 5pm to 3:10am. Then they got me a spare bed without cover. No comfortable bed has been offered which is quite weird for such a big hospital! Neither drinks nor food were offered to me until 7am …

Sadly a terrible experience. Hospital is dirty . Took a relative in who had been diagnosed with liver failure. Took 14 hours to get a bed during which time I had to beg staff to speak to me and explain what was happening. Saw so many …
Horrendous!!! They kept my 6 months baby waiting for about seven hours for his NG tube and finally I decided to go back home. The incharge nurse was so rude. It just takes 5 min to put the NG tube and my son was hungry from last 7 hours. Terrible staff today. I wish I could get zero star for their rating.
Today we spent 7 hours to be seen by a Doctor.

A very thorough professional service, arrived at 730 in A&E, within 30 mins seen for possible kidney problems. Within 2hrs had ultrasound, bloods, CT scan, to have referral. Now the wait for all results. So much better than the pittiful service last week at Hemel Hempstead. Shame the building layout is poor. Thank you 5*
A+e paediatric, is 5 minutes to 1 a clock in the morning, we are in since 19:50. They are 6 nurses + nurse in charge. Asked how long do we still have to wait, room is nearly empty, the reply was we dont know…
Don’t seem equipped to deal with the contact they receive. Put on hold multiple times, never got more than a few words from anyone before they passed the buck.
I visited yesterday with my 84 year old nan who was in a significant amount of pain when we arrived. We had to wait 7/8 hours to see a doctor and that was after constant persistence! No food was given no water she is already underweight so …
We didn’t have to wait at all today although we did wait for several hours in A&E in Monday. Friendly staff, doctors and nurses.
A & E is seriously overwhelmed and not fantastically clean. Communication wasn’t great and I had a long wait to be seen even though I was referred and they were expecting me to be admitted. Once I finally got on a ward and was seen by a …
Absolutely terrible left for 16 hours with 2 blood clots on my spine and given 2 paracetamol so contacting medical negligence solicitor
Well was impressed how quick I was seen by gastrotomy Dr in clinic blood test out in two hours unlike mkc clinic and rude staff I rate 10 out 10 for stoke mandiville
If I could give it no stars I would.
Covid infusion clinic is awful – advised on location incorrectly by admin team. Considering very poorly the staff when I arrived at wrong location were …
This hospital is pure picture on how money can be wasted. Bunch of people that work there seem to know about medicine as much as they read in Google. Huge amount of workers there are only for filling useless documents and small testing (I …
A strange Dr called Jimmy savil came jiggle jaggling up the coriander fumbling all over Mick shallcross ..oooooh oooooooh very strange
I attended A&E with my 9 month old baby on Friday 8th April around 20:30 after a fall. We were concerned as he was not weight bearing on the left leg, he was triaged straight away, the Paediatric A&E was almost empty. We were told the …
Was my first time, visiting the minor injuries department with my son. We went in at 8:30pm on a Sunday night. My son was xrayed and checked over twice, we left at 9:45. I was impressed with the speed, and all nurse’s were very friendly.
Worst hospital in the country with doctors who don’t care. Go in alive and you’ll end up dead. …
I was under Bucks Hospitals Gynae for years with no diagnosis or treatment. In desperation I went private and found I had both endometriosis and fibroids. It turns out that Bucks has no endometriosis specialist, nor policy to refer on …
I have been treated at this hospital many times and have always found it to be good. Car parking could be better, but you can say that about every hospital in the country. …
My infant is refusing to move, so I’ve called Stock Mandela Hospital. They told me to come over and see at you and the baby.
I was waiting for less than 5 minutes, and the midwife began checking my baby. …
I had sharp pains in my ribs, to the point I was struggling to breath, so I rang 111. I spoke to the nurse and then a doctor, who advised I get seen at A&E ASAP. …
Can’t fault the staff and nurses in A and E, they are great but unfortunately working under high pressure at no fault of their own. Thank you
I know the nhs is a joke and all that but still this hospital is just beyond a joke how much they don’t have a clue what they ar doing and no matter what you have to do or see the wait is not like any other hospital in the country
Horrible communication from staff, EXTREMELY LONG WAITING TIMES TO THE POINT ANOTHER PERSON HAD COLLAPSED at the waiting room, brushed off only to be asked to come back because a so called “specialist” had made a mistake and only added …
What a fantastic experience this morning. I had a Radiology appointment and I was in and out. The two ladies that dealt with me were amazing, warm and friendly. Considering they do this day in, day out it’s a credit to them how they treat each patient so well. I couldn’t fault them, thank you!
I had an endoscopy yesterday at the hospital and was very nervous. The staff made me feel at ease and explained exactly what they were going to do. They were very patient and comforting.
I am writing this on behalf of a close friend. Her partner of 35 years is in the renal unit, is on dialysis and has just had Covid-19 – not very well at all. I am sure he is in very safe hands and getting great care, but his partner is in a …

Wonderful Staff and Excellent Care – Surgical Assessment Unit (August & Sept 2021) …
My husband came in Wednesday, and the care he was given was fantastic , in particular Vicky, Megan and Bibi , all staff work very hard and are under immense pressure , but these girls had a brilliant attitude and really worked together as a team which really shined through 😁 …
Bought in by ambulance but had to wait in the waiting room in agony, difficulty in breathing and very unwell. No triage after 4 hours and told it could be up to another 5 hrs so had to come home as needed pain relief. Shocking care as always
£3.50 for under an hour of parking is an absolute joke. I was supposed to have an appointment at a closer hospital but it got changed with under 24 hours notice and the nurses all normally just ignore you and treat you as a 2nd rate person. …
First time reviewer but this has to be done, arrived at 7 and got seen by the streaming nurse who wasn’t very clear in her instructions when telling me whether I needed to sit down or get checked in. This meant that several people behind me …
I am not the type of person who usually writes sensible or serious posts. But having spent 4 days in hospital, I have seen and heard first hand how much pressure our Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors are under as a result of COVID and the …
Above average hospital. Having been here twice and being an avid people watcher I can honestly say the staff here are extremely hard working. I was seen be the GP services within A&E. There was one female doctor present and two …
Worst experience for a first time Mum. Let me list it down: did NOT due checks on the baby when they should have, did the wrong blood tests on the baby hence multiple blood extractions causing both hands to bruise, unnecessary prolonged …
