Write a ReviewHad my sons 5th birthday here on the obstacle course inflatables with 20 odd kids.
Couldn’t be happier with the service, staff and facilities! …
I really like the gym here. The staff are really friendly and helpful and there are plenty of great facilities. I have found it hard to book a gym induction for my stepchild though, as they seem to only do these during school hours. Also, …
This was the starting point of St Catherine’s midnight walk.
Plenty of parking space, easy access. Super evening.
Clip and climb with 5 and 8 year olds. Well organised and safe. Enough to keep them amused and engaged for an hour
Sooo bad I would never want to come back kicked me out the gym when I had explained to them I had done my induction but they did not listen to me I showed them my code in my phone from my membership but continued to tell me to leave I do …
I wish that the treadmills were a little more spaced or stabilised as when the person next to you is running it makes your machine wobble which makes me feel motion sick, partly due to the tv screens on top blocking the view out of the …
Do not join this gym, very little equipments, mainly for cardio, people sit around to chat and u wont be able to work out, limited time as gym shuts 10pm & if you cancel your contract they will charge you a further £30 and if the money doesn’t go through they will charge you £47 – worse gym there is, do no sign up its not worth it!
Friendly staff and good range of equipment. Gym is very busy though
Can’t believe they stopped ALL adults from playing basketball in the centre. All because of a couple incidents of “dunking”. Shocking that ONLY children are allowed to play basketball in the centre. Honestly, how could you do this when adults are the main ones paying to play on the court with their memberships??
Good pumping today
Going to cheerleading to Bridge with my daughter. Fantastic place with lovely coffee. Also very clean!!!
Visited to use clip n climb, which was brilliant for youngster’s first climbing experiences. Instructors needed to moderate their briefing for the younger audience however, as not sure how much of the safety info sunk in to start with, but …
My girls (4 & 6) really enjoyed the rock climbing experience. Really helpful and friendly staff thoroughly recommend it.
A leisure centre near to a super-store! What’s not to like?
Great facilities! Played badminton and had a fab time.
Clip n climb, what can I say the kids had a blast. We were at the 5pm session on Friday. Was not busy at all, quiet and relaxed.
We visited the Bridge Leisure Centres a couple of weeks ago to use their splendid Clip ‘n’ Climb facility. We took a group of Scouts and they all had a fantastic time. The booking process & checking in upon arrival was simple. The Clip ‘n’ …
The gym no longer allows over 16+ to play basketball till January. I have full membership just for Basketball and now I am no longer able to play till then. Their reason is that the rims are not safe for people to dunk on…unfortunately I can’t even freaking dunk lol
Just went there yesterday to do some work in the cafee/waiting area. Seems to have good sporting facilities with lots of parking space and toilets. Just be aware if you are hanging out here there is very limited sockets to plug your devices in.
Very clean and fresh, staff very helpful toilet’s and changing rooms immaculate I used the big hall for a cat show ☺️
Great for the kids to tire them selves out
Value for money but poorly managed. Parking very good, facility poorly designed, cheaply built and, for the age of it, very run down – maintenance non-existent? Gym changing rooms impractical (low hanging space, narrow lockers, cheap …
The newly building has great facilities, hope it gets maintained properly.Friendly staff, pay as you is a bonus.
Very good facilities, and friendly staff.
Always enjoy playing pickleball and their variety of classes.
We came to the climbing area for a kids party. Brilliant set up
The kids loved it. And a big hall to use after for the party area.
We used the clip and climb and the cafe on this visit. It was busy with birthday parties and yet they didn’t have a dedicated member of staff for cafe. The receptionists where rushing between servicing entry and the cafe. The clip and climb …
We had an Active Bounce party for my 5 year old daughter and 14 of her friends. The staff at the Bridge were fantastic, looking after all our needs whilst ensuring all children were having fun and kept safe on the huge bouncy castle. The staff were all polite, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.
A great way to let off steam in a fun way. A relative uses the gym tgere and really rates it. They run various classes there such as trampolining and dance classes. Next door is a sports arena. I don’t know what the prices are like so can’t comment on that. It may be due to covid that not all areas of the centre were in use.
Took my daughters to clip and climb, they absolutely loved it, all the staff were really good with the children.
I sometimes send the kids to the holiday club and the staff handle my kids very well 🙂
Clip and climb is also included in the price for each day.
General facilities seem good. Cafe, toilets etc.
Beautiful new leisure centre- amazing climbing wall and fantastic bouncy castles. We held our daughter’s birthday there using trampolines and the bouncy castle activity run. The children had a fantastic time and it was well run.
If you like places with 0 atmosphere, limited equipment, staff that ignore you and look at you like you’re causing them a problem when you ask them a very basic and polite question, and like people parking WAY to close for you for no reason at all, then this is the place for you! Such a miserable place to be.
Went to have a look round. Nothing really seemed to be happening although a few people were going up and down to the gym. No information to say what was on and no leaflets either. The climbing area looks good but was closed at the time, …
Very clean gym clip and climb is very good it does get quite busy. I would recommend going off peak to the gym good value for money
Skate park is good, however lots of rubbish and no bins. Apparently skaters can’t use the leisure center toilets MEMBERS ONLY! Seems ridiculous to provide a facility and try to distance themselves from it all at once.
Shame on the designers and management, one hall fits all attitude is a disaster and an obvious one. Yesterday tried to book a court session, they had closed the hall because of preparations for something the next day, total waste of …
App never works so booking classes is a nightmare. Wifi barely works and there’s not great reception inside with o2 so using phone is not always easy. In addition to this, they are advertised as being open until 10:30pm Monday to Friday …
It’s all new and beautiful inside. Has some bonkers barcode entry system.
We went for a trial jujitsu session and the studio had tons of good kit
I only use the gym, which is a bit limited equipment wise, and not enough when it gets busy. Ok for cardio but not so good if you want to lift weights. Better options for the money.
Very impressed! Staff are all friendly and helpful. It’s spotless, bright and airy. Great choice of sports and gym equipment.
Facilities look very good .
We used the leisure centre for holiday childcare and the kids had a good experience. We felt they were safe and in capable hands. Recommended.
Fits my needs i only use the gym facilities and they got all the required equipment as well as convenient parking in a good location. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Good gym and a huge variety of exercise classes available..have paid children’s play sessions too. Alas no swimming pool but there is a cafe on-site.
Just going to classes at moment. Yoga & Pilates are great. Highly recommend them.
Centre is clean & tidy. Staff are very helpful.
Took my eldest daughter there for the last ever Sussex athletics indoor event as the track (only indoor track in the whole of Sussex) is to be knocked down as part of the reconstruction. And no its not being replaced ! London 2012 legacy my backside !!
Starting to feel like a second home. I never thought I hear my self say that about a gym . Excellent facilities.. spacious and lots going on.
Superb gym and leisure centre. Just a shame there isn’t a pool.
Friendly staff, nice equipment. Too many meatheads looking for attention by dropping heavy weights on floor to gain attention. Apart from that very good
What can I say, up to date, great environment, excellent facilities and gym that can meet the needs of all the family. The only negative which is very minor, the front entrance is round the back…
Very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
********THE BEST BODYPUMP WORK***********
in Horsham. …
Great badminton halls, but a bit hot in the summer. Other facilities are really good quite unique with what they offer.
Clean, professional staff, nice environment, enjoying the experience.
The Climb at the Bridge is great fun for everyone. Haven’t used any other parts of the center yet
Gym is a gym small friendly but can easily become over crowded
Nice clip and climb experience, limited refreshments and atmosphere a bit sterile.
Running track is good
Been a great facility for years but sadly, ever since the decision to knock it down has been made, the maintenance has not been kept up as well as it could have been
Excellent, the staff is amazing. My birthday boy had a lot of fun today.
Great. Spacious and good facilities. Parking outside. Nice cafe.
New equipment and shiny new studios. Utterly impossible to get through on the phone and the website is atrocious. Staff are very helpful.
Climbing is brilliant for the whole family
Very good attention to C19 guidelines and overall a great sports facility
Decent gym but busy
Great facility, great staff, just needs a bit more investment to update.
Amazing facility. Grand kids loved it
The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and clean.
The town centre is a disgrace to the people of Sunderland or is time the council did something about pur town centre.
About to be replaced by brand new leisure centre next door, so inevitably a bit tired but otherwise ok
Undergoing a lot of work at the moment so not in great shape, hopefully good news for the future though
Clean and great airy sports hall.
Go here every week, helpful staff and wide variety of sports to do
Great gym with an abundance of classes and good facilities
Very clean. Small but we’ll laid out
Really clean and well set up facilities that work!
Bit run down but lots of facilities and parking is easy!
Because they are so friendly and a great contribution to bbh
Great service, friendly staff especially to those with ASD
