Called to point out my brown bin has not been emptied for a month and it is quite an expensive add on to my council tax. Went through all the pre recorded palaver (maybe 5 mins) to be told they are too busy and was hung up on. As a paying resident I find this unacceptable.

They don’t think things through properly especially the councillors introduce unworkable schemes

I have been trying to get a response from some in the council since 2nd February. I call and email every two weeks. I am passed from person to person and nobody will take ownership of my inquiry. There is a lack of basic client service.

Really good service with waste collection and electoral roll. The food waste was a godsend – wish we had it in our new house. Great work from a local council!
