I used to work there. Now I am told they are making staff compulsorily redundant.

First day of Uni today, so potentially slightly biased. But I loved it, so engaging, thought provoking and all around enjoyable. Facilities are super nice, especially around the frontal areas of the University, and decent travel links such as the Park&Ride I use to commute. Would recommend.

An excellent place to enjoy study, as I ‘ve learnt through my first hand experience in UOW that the size of a uni is not taking into account but what matters is the quality of human resources that it possesses. Great staffs, right from reception to the lecture rooms. Outstanding and always ready to help.

Great atmosphere, staff and students are welcoming and enthusiastic for their subjects. Lots of modern buildings and learning spaces.

Went to look at the university last Saturday for either 2018 or 2019 entry. I found the campus, accommodation and the course I wanted to do was perfect! I really hope I get into Winchester as I think it is going to be the right place for me.

Does not compare to the likes of Nottingham’s Eco campus where old blends with new in an easier user friendly accessible way. It’s built into the side of a hill for a start. It’s the Swiss iniverduni experience. Plenty of steps, levels and …

New building is looking so good!

Visited with daughter for next year. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. One of the smaller more intimate universities we have visited. Looks ideal.

You may be surprised to be greeted by a life sized statue of an uneducated girl that dropped out of high school education, one would have hoped to see the university’s greatest achiever, perhaps this says skip university, just go make some noise!

At least one professor does not have a PhD or published work! Unbelievable. Lecturers on MA or MSc courses do not often have PhDs. If you value academia, this is not the university for you.

Pretty good uni I didn’t find the staff very enthusiastic at all and you have to walk through a graveyard to get to it
