Write a Reviewthe courses are great and all but the Student Success team are very bad. They only get in touch or reply you when it comes to fees and payment and mostly ignore everything else. Be warned.
The campus is very nice. Quite place to work and study. A lot of activities, good food, bar. It is located in a park, you can appreciate the local wildlife.
Did a masters here, was interrupted by covid.
Then came back for a postgraduate diploma in social work. Wouldn’t recommend the …

Disappointingly, I have been trying for the course of geopolitics and international affairs for many years to pursue at the university of Sussex. But, I have not found any opportunity to grab this course which I love. I am extremely …
I applied for the course of biomedical science with foundation year on clearing a few years ago. They rejected me because I had not studied biology and chemistry during the final school year. This university, like all British universities, …
My university and I love it so much! The library is a fantastic and hospitable place to work and chill and the staff in the café are Oh! so lovely. Missing them all very much over summer. …
No classes due to industrial action.
But why the students have to take this responsibility? …
Well organised for parents to drop our precious babies for their first term at uni…

Went for the open day, loved the lecture but overall the event was very unorganised. Not many students around to help, and even if you ask for help it’s slightly unclear, hard to locate the toilet and any Cafés. An Open day is the most …
This is the best University you can attend, if you are a lover of research and academics.
Absolutely Amazing University and campus!! Only wish I was 20 yrs younger so I could study there. Its like little town. Halls/Dorms or whatever you want to call it look great and plenty of it. Staff were very nice and helpful, showed were …
Disgusting practise. I called in with a horrible sore throat which I didn’t want to pass on. Tried to rebook. Immediately told a would get a cancellation fee and couldn’t rebook. Will be switching dentists.
Everyone says their uni is the best but Sussex truly is.
A beautiful campus, fully stocked library, supportive SU and transport is great. …
Student support services are not helpful and are just to tick a government box. You aren’t given the same person to speak with when requesting counselling. Lecturers are also extremely uncaring and inconsiderate of their students going …
Love campus! Interesting architecture, green spaces all surrounded by beautiful woodland! Love going to the varied events and hearing different speakers or enjoying a range of installations.
Did a dash-in-dash-out here, so not much to see. A couple of things caught my interest though. The university sits on a really wide expanse of land and seems to place premium on keeping the environment green. This, combined with the several …
Hugh place, took friend for a test, very beautiful scenery surrounding it. Must be brilliant for the students, walked about while I was waiting stunning residential area for them.
This is my university where I did my Master’s degree. It is a beautiful campus. The university is located in Falmer area, which is very green and forested. University of Sussex is close to the University of Brighton as well. Univ of Brighton is opposite in the same street.
Very nice campus with a variety of subject courses. Lots of student life options.
The campus ❤️ the best time of my life. all members of the University are so kind, friendly, the university is itself a village, close to falmer train station which serves th two universities, many buses to city, quite, nice, clean University. I miss it too much.
Came here during the pandemic and it was easily one of the worst universities for students in the whole of the Uk. Just check out the ratings and reviews on student crowd :/ My campus accomodation was absolutely horrendous. But good parking facilities and handy expensive shop on campus. Roads are not built for buses and cars though.
I went to a private function on saturday along with 150 people to celebrate the yearly walk of the South Downs Way.
It was a very good experience. I found the staff professional and polite. The …
I spent an amazing 8 weeks here over a summer as an undergrad. The campus is beautiful and the rolling green hills around it are just awesome. Quick bus ride or taxi to Brighton and all it/s delicious restaurants, fun nightlife and great shopping.
I’ve finished my first year here and I love it, a friendly and beautiful campus, a great night life close to campus. The campus has a great gym at the top of a woody hill. Of course there’s also the fact that it pretty much borders the …
Will admit my bias upfront. Undergraduate and postgraduate done here. Loved it. Simple as. Course and department (physics) top marks, Uni facilities top marks, sports included in that, accommodation and family feel top marks, teaching …
Nice place to study and stay
Thanks for the detailed information provided here about the University and it’s location, what it’s known for. However, provide the course outline of courses offered by the University to catch the attention of the students who would want to …
Very nice university, huge and with many green spaces. It has a supermarket inside where you can buy everything you need and also a shop that is nice because it sells sweaters with university’s logos.
The rooms in the dormitory are clean and tidied.
A beautiful campus. There aren’t many like it out there. The brick and concrete aesthetic can take a while to get used to (It took me several months) and for some it’s a dealbreaker. Coffee sold on-campus is an acquired taste. During the …
After spending 3 years looking at several different universities, Sussex tied the knot for me. The staff are friendly and supportive, the departments are well facilitated, the teaching standard (from what I’ve experienced so far on my …
An amazing uni in an amazing locality with amazing staff. Couldn’t get more homely than this uni. The library culture is rich here, seminars and lectures are enjoyable and the support is tremendous from tutors. Moreover the sports, clubs and societies never cease to amaze you.
New student accommodation is massive so much up and down hills. Good for a leg workout 😁 well maintained and kept clean. …
Beautiful campus situated within the heart of the south downs. Easy bus access into city centre aswell as around Sussex. Co op and student Union shop aswell as several restaurants. Co op can be quite pricey. Passionate experienced …
Despite of the very expensive international student fees, I received very little support on my MA course. Now I work there as an associate tutor. It is the most uninspiring work place I have been as most of other tutors including myself …
I loved studying at Sussex and am always filled with nostalgia thinking of the rolling hills, the Brighton seafront, the amazing restaurants and fabulous nightlife. It became a real home away from home and as an international student I …
A nice campus uni with great facilities, although the student body are aggressively left wing. In my time at uni the students union banned multiple speakers from the university, including lecturers who were from institutions the SU didn’t …

Salam with 😘 from Malaysia singapore n Brunei..🇲🇾🇸🇬🇧🇳🇬🇧 …
The poorest looking university campus I’ve ever seen in the U.K. All other U.K. universities look so posh and modern. Buildings are old, rotten and boring. Could you pamper your students please. Follow other universities as to what they’re …
Lovely university. Fab campus. Always great to visit. Compared to the school I work at, its like visiting a different planet!
I was visiting the recently restored Attenborough Centre for the Arts. This striking post-Brutalist building contains a useful and versatile professionally-equipped performance space, where the lighting and sound worked perfectly for our simple event. There is easy access.
awesome campus university with wide open spaces and lots of greenery, looks amazing when sunny. huge library.
Brighton town centre is only 15 mins away by bus.
No one give proper information to international student
It was a factory of posturing bourgeois , metropolitan suburban mediocrity. The faculty were often rude, nasty , boring and about a million times less intelligent and interesting than they thought they were. The student body was crammed …
Brilliant open day. My daughter was completely taken with it so top of the list at the moment. Friendly students showed us round.
Centre of knowledge creation….
Falmer Sports Complex is well equipped for outside sports, but parking is awful. Give yourself plenty of time to park before your session
I went here in the 70’s.
It was fab time – great staff, great course, great campus and all that Brighton …
Honestly, time and time again I feel so let down. Can’t wait to get this year over and done with. Such a shame.
It was fine, but kinda sus.
Claims to be a top 25 university but the Wi-Fi is far from top anything, you must connect through an over complicated and convoluted website that’s so frustrating you end up just buying data. Paying 11 grand a year with non working Wi-Fi is a waste of money, this is not 1999 anymore it’s 2017, get with the times or get left behind.
Incredible place! I’m enjoying an audible book on fiction short stories.
Very quiet at the moment, some students around, only visited Falmer House so not sure about rest of campus.
Amazing campus full of stuff you need if you want to spend most of your time at Uni. Really great organised and lovely students union.
Set in beautiful town of Falmer village just a 5 mins train from Brighton station….Lovely!
The English department at this university takes in MA applicants with zero background in cultural theory, philosophy, politics. I had no idea what the material we were assigned to read meant as it was all gibberish to me having never …
Best university ever (maybe).
Woke university. Avoid if you don’t want to censor yourself.
Great Campus. Go for walks in Stanmer Park at lunch time and in between classes. Love the green.
Quiet but still nice
If you value free speech, it is probably best to avoid this uni. Plenty of better options out there.
Beautiful campus. Amazing Professors and bright and kind students. A great learning experience
Its pretty cool, bit smelly but cool
Best place in the world for critical International Relations and Development Studies. I am very proud of my Sussex degree.
A business vs a university… not a fair place for normal people from non private school backgrounds
Brought back good memories. Spent a whole day at uni. I was a student 71-74!
For 9250 a year it would be extremely appreciated if it wouldn’t take 10minutes to log into a computer and print off one page. Absolutely ridiculous.
A well-known academic university in Brighton
The vegetation sums it all. A glimpse of nature conservation in practice. Abrupt rains remind me of home [Uganda]
An incredible university! especially the Global Studies School which is a very special place with amazing teaching
Seems like a lovely uni campus, and surrounded by beautiful countryside.
how to work and studying there??? for international students.. please any help…
bad vibes, gave me depression, would not recommend
Don’t arrive at the same Time as Brighton are playing at home. Bad planning ☺️
It’s an areet uni. Nout special. Brighton is brilliant and that’s why it’s 4*
Campus is good but staff isn’t that friendly
University of Sussex is such an amazing and welcoming place, a very excellent academic university.
Beautiful Campus with green landscapes
