Very efficient at taking our money. Very good at allowing excessive over development: but nothing else. Paying for services we don’t get. Too many people sat in offices that do not appear to be gainfully employed!

Requested a smaller refuse bin as we don’t have a lot of refuse due to proactive recycling. I was told ‘there are lots of people out there that would be grateful for a bin of any size on the waiting list’ ??????? I can’t swap for a smaller one as I was being ungrateful!!!!

A rating enquiry. Easy to contact with no great menu lists. Spoke to a lovely lady who was caring and considerate. Why aren’t all councils like this. Lovely to live in East Sussex. My comparison is with South Oxfordshire Council.

Can’t thank them enough. They housed me in my time of need with very suitable property. Always answer my emails and calls promptly and very kind. We’ve had no issues with wealden and so happy they are our council for hailsham

The only saving grace for WDC is the call centre staff, they are very nice and friendly! However the bin men have Dementia as they seem to forget to collect bins and they leave the state of the road in such bad conditions they hare life threatening
