Referred to WSH ED by 111 for suspected twisted bowel. Admitted to ward with 4 hours after blood tests, x-ray and consult with doctor. Very fast and thorough service, despite the immense pressure that the staff have to work under, and their patient meals are excellent.
Just returned home after Elective orthopaedic surgery. All ward and theatre staff were brilliant. Food still isn’t as appetising as it could be but was served warm I felt in safe hands at all times

Absolutely disgusting service! My nephew was rushed in by ambulance as he keeps passing out. They did nothing and gave us no answers, one doctor said that they won’t give him the tests he needs because it’s a waste of time. I’ve never experienced such negligence in all my life.
Always fantastic wonderful NHS they can’t do enough for you ,always 100% when the good lord made angels he put them all in our NHS.Bury st Edmunds NHS thankyou once again
This is not a reflection on the staff, they mostly are hard working. This is a reflection on the fact the car park is full all the time, the staff are over worked and under paid. Recently received “care” but I think I would rather die next …

The only down side to W S H is the problems associated with the structure of the building itself. The dedication of staff is all the more praiseworthy in the circumstances they are working in. W.A. Keep.
